I had the most incredible experience here on Austin and Wanda’s Christmas tree farm! I stayed on Christmas and they were so kind as to share leftover Christmas food with me. Thank goodness bc everything was closed. Their dog Moscato got along with my dog perfectly and tired him out playing after a long drive. They offered to put him up before I got there but I was happy to have the dogs play. They went far above and beyond my expectations and the site was nice and private. There was an outlet to charge my phone and a spot for a fire and wood although I didn’t build a fire. 10/10 would recommend. I’m glad I chose this spot. They were such a sweet, kind, and generous couple.

Overall, the experience was delightful. I was able to pull my little camper right next to the pond and enjoy the serene view over the landscape. I enjoyed fishing in the pond and caught multiple nice size bass and a catfish, and relaxing. My son enjoyed riding his bike on the path around the pond, playing on the playset, and feeding the alpacas. Had a great time, the host was excellent, and would definitely visit again.

We arrived Friday & had a fun time till we left Sunday. The property, the pond, & Ms. Erica were great. Ms. Erica even helped us out with some extra sleeping bags when the night time temps dropped lower than expected. From fishing in the pond to seeing all the animals, our grand-kids enjoyed & learned a lot on the farm setting. We’ll certainly add it to our “let’s go back” list!

It has several sites that are good size to the right as you go in. Sign says park yourself and let them know which site. There are 5 sites to the left that are tight. As no one was there we parked in one of those sites. Gravel site was very unlevel but electric, water and sewer worked well. Was quiet where we were. Note: last site does not have sewer.

It was lovely. I was worried aboot lack of peace because it was near 2 highways, but it was super peaceful. Didn’t hear any vehicles. I saw deer and squirrels several times the few nights I stayed. There was plenty of space to walk around and explore. I loved that my dogs were able to be free once we were on trails away from others. The host was great, very helpful and kind. It’s a very safe place. They love their community, (something similar to what I’ve been aligning with- soul tribe eco-village). I really did love and appreciate the 5 mile speed limit, even if I had to keep remembering it. The slimy/residue feeling on my skin from the shower/sink I assume is soft water and would take some getting used to. All was great.

Debbie was the most kind and over-the-top accommodating host I’ve ever met. She spoiled me and my two girls! She fed us dinner and gave the girls treats. In the morning she gave the girls hot chocolate, toys and beads to play with. Her property was fun… being right on the bayou! She even had kayaks for us to use. She set chairs out for us to use to watch the bats at sunset. An absolutely amazing time was had!

Stayed one night here in a tent, definitely more of an RV type site, but had a great experience nonetheless. Bathrooms and showers available for use. Drove in after dark and accidentally set up camp in a non-site area but the host was kind about it. Saw a few gators and the frogs were going wild across the water.
