This is in Lewis county - of the Lewis and Clark adventurers. The Buffalo River is a class 1 and sometimes 2 river perfect for kayaking. Ask about add on options like a tour and story about the camp and animals or even a pottery lesson or art workshop.

The land is mowed down, lush green with some trees in the middle and just all around beautiful. I just added 4 gravel Rv pads and gravel paths around the homestead as well as 6 large wildflower gardens. Right now there are no activities on the land. Just a place to stay if someone wants to camp or you can walk on the paths. If you have a golf cart, you can ride those on the property. I do own 4 chickens which are a delight and I sell farm fresh eggs. Produce coming this year. The camp sites have not been broken in yet so the spots are not in a designated area yet. There are 4 tent camp spots to choose from. The photos you see are the areas you can choose from. I supply a fire pit for your use during your stay.

10 sites · RVs, Tents50 acres · Lexington, TNLazy Acres Lake borders Natchez Trace State Park and is located 11 miles from interstate 40 in the beautiful farming community of Chesterfield, Tennessee. We have an abundance of wildlife including fox, turkey, racoon, otters, geese, ducks and even a resident piebald whitetail buck named Lucky who enjoys hanging out by the levee. Lake access is included with each site reservation. Life jackets required for those with paddle and fishing licenses for those with pole (canoe rentals coming soon :) RV camping sites 1-3, the boat ramp and main parking area are located at the main entrance (yellow beaked bird). Off-Road site #4, the hiking trailhead and our back country tent camping sites are located at the east entrance (patriotic fence post). Site #4 is the most private of our car camping sites but does require 4WD (not AWD) during wet weather. Campers reserving Site #4 have the option to set up camp in the gravel parking area during wet weather or simply park there and take a short hike down to the waterside campsite. The east entrance also provides access to the hiking footbridge across the creek and trailhead to our back country sites where we welcome all our tent, bivy, shelter and hammock campers. AT style trail blazes and postings direct campers to each campsite. * All gates are open 24 hours when campers are present.

We are located less than a mile from the Buffalo River boat launch and just 25 minutes from Kentucky Lake. Linden, TN, population 900 is just 5 minutes away with mom & pop shops providing everything you need. You won't find much Corporate America here and we like it that way! We believe in respect of our piece of a paradise, not a long list of campground rules.
