Heavily wooded forest with pine, maple, oak and birch. Undeveloped and quiet. The property is home to numerous bird species, deer, wild turkeys and squirrels. Occasional howls from distant coyotes and infrequent raccoons. The campsites are located on a hill dominated by tall pines overlooking the east facing property. Secluded, but only a 700 feet from the main residence. Only 1 1/2 miles P.J Hoffmaster's State Park and a 10 minutes ride to Grand Haven State Park/Lake Michigan. Campsites are rustic but we provide camp toilets, a picnic table and a waste container. Fresh water is available at the barn. We also provide a shelter with picnic tables and a charcoal park grille. A large community fire pit is available with wood provided for a small cost by the hosts. When arriving please drive to the end of the driveway towards the last house. The Flipside Acres sign will be on your right side. Drive down the gravel entrance and park where indicated by the red barn. All sites are a short walk from the parking area (500ft) and carts are provided for your use. If needed, we can also provide transportation using our UTV. Tent sites are not accessible by car.

Pull off the blacktop onto the grassy drive running through the field and forest. The sites are just off of the road, and minutes from lots of local culture and recreation. We do have two sites available, but we'll only take one booking at a time. So, you'll have the area to yourself and your choice of campsites. Groups that add up to at least 8 people to the booking can use both sites. The clearing is about an acre and is surrounded by forest. Our home is next door, but you have your own drive.

This is my third visit at hidden Drive. I just love it location and it really feels very private. Also, the firewood was awesome and quick burning. Love that. Host Aaron is always very responsive and friendly.

Site # 2 is about half way down the pond from the main house. A dock, suitable for sunbathing, picnicking or fishing is just steps away from this site.

My husband and I really enjoyed camping on John's land. Everything that you need is already there, set up ready to go. The place was very peaceful and quiet. Both of our dogs were able to run around the property and enjoy it just as much as we did. I would definitely plan another stay here.

What an incredible place. So peaceful, so secluded, exactly what we were hoping for. We only stayed one night for this trip, and we all wished we could have stayed longer so we will definitely be planning a longer stay in the future. The bed was very comfortable, I always worry about that when staying at places away from home. We did have to relocate a few 8-legged friends from inside the yurt when we first arrived, but they didn’t put up too much of a fight. We got rain during the night, and my new favorite thing is sleeping in a yurt while it’s raining. It was heaven. I love how the yurt is nestled under pines, it’s such a good spot.

This camping property was beyond incredible! From the moment we arrived, Robyn’s kindness and warmth made the entire experience unforgettable. When we realized our initial site was closer to the house than we expected, she didn’t hesitate to help. She immediately offered us a more private, supported site, making sure we were completely comfortable. Robyn truly went above and beyond—she brought us fresh eggs, got us worms for fishing, let us use the paddle boat, and even personally drove us to go kayaking down the river! She was so thoughtful, sweet, and accommodating every step of the way. Her genuine care and hospitality made our trip so special. We felt so welcomed the entire time, and we definitely plan on coming back. This place, and Robyn, are simply the best!

Absolutely loved Bob and Vicki’s land. The little walk to our site was nice and easy and they offered wagons to make our set up process super easy. Our site had everything we needed and offered enough privacy from the other sites. The communal fire pit was different than what we’re used to but had everything we needed and they even sold fire wood for a good price. The zip line made us feel like kids again, the turkeys were fun, and their dogs kept a watch on us while unpacking our car(we loved it). Bob and Vicki were so kind and offered any help they possibly could and gave fun recommendations as well! Would absolutely return. Thank you guys!

We loved camping on Bob & Vicki's land! Carts were provided for our walk through a beautifully lit wooded trail to our campsite. We appreciated the extremely clean camp toilet, trash can, & picnic table at each rustic campsite. It was fun to hear the pet turkeys, wild turkeys, and sit and watch a family of deer walk by several times while we ate. We utilized the community charcoal grill & although we didn't use it, there's a large shared firepit. Bob & Vicki have thought of every detail to make this the perfect HipCamp! We were sad we didn't book for a longer stay but we will be back!

We had a wonderful time and Jeff was great! We would certainly recommend to anyone who wants a peaceful, private spot to hangout and relax. The shower, kitchen, and outhouse were much appreciated- I really loved how well maintained and clean the outhouse was! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had a very pleasant experience at Forest Haven Camping. The grounds were clean, well-maintained, and surrounded by beautiful nature that made it easy to relax and unwind. The atmosphere was peaceful, and it truly felt like a little getaway from the busy city life. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the facilities were convenient and tidy. It’s also a wonderful place to bring a dog — plenty of space to walk, explore, and enjoy the outdoors together. Highly recommend.

Nice place for the family. There’s a large lake/pond with water toys and a swimming pool and jungle gym for the kids plus a ping pong table, fuze ball, and pool table. There’s shade where the RV’s park and picnic tables and firepit The management staff is very helpful and friendly.

It was wonderful finding a place to stay for the weekend on short notice that had electricity and water for the weekend! Loved how they called to see if we would be there by 8 pm when the office closed so we could make arrangements to get in when we arrived, but we ended up getting there in time! Our site was perfect for our first time van camping with an attached tent on the back of the van! We had a view of the pond and the site and grounds were extremely clean! Staff was super friendly as well as the campers around us! If you have a golf cart , we wish we did, you will love it, especially the trails! Very relaxing and fun atmosphere! Loved seeing the goats on the property and how much the kids enjoyed walking them on leashes around the grounds! Seems like a great place for kids and adults! Thank you for a great experience, Forest Haven, and we hope to return soon!
