Those who want a homebase with a little extra comfort. Located within a few miles of the Baraga Plains ORV trail and North Country Trails. Trailer has one bedroom with a queen size bed. There is a twin rollaway bed and couch for additional sleeping space. Water is available for bathing and dishes. Please bring your own drinking water. Bathroom has a flushable toilet and shower. Kitchen has stove, toaster oven, refrigerator, and freezer. Coffee maker is also available. There is a picnic table, fire pit, and outdoor seating. Firewood may be used if on site. It is conveniently located right off M28 in Christmas, less than 5 miles from downtown Munising, the beginning of the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. There are 2 bedrooms and 1.5 baths. Our cottage offers 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, and 2 full beds. Come up to enjoy Pictured Rocks & numerous waterfalls in the area. Only 2 blocks from Christmas ORV/snowmobile trailhead. The space During the summer, our cottage goes from Saturday to Saturday (not required to stay all 7-days). We are adding central air conditioning to the home for the summer of 2021. The second bedroom here is a little odd. It used to be a jacuzzi tub room. The jacuzzi tub was removed, and now there is a bed in there. The room still has a toilet and sink in it. We have added a curtain to block the toilet view from the bed. While it is unusual, we think it is worth keeping to have an extra lavatory for larger groups. The home has a beautiful view (especially for evening sunsets!) overlooking Furnace Lake and is very quiet and peaceful. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do :) Up to 2 dogs are allowed with preapproval, but there is a $75 non-refundable pet fee that will need to be added. Guest access Guests have full access to the home, garage, red outbuilding next to the garage, and yard. The red outbuilding near the road is not available to guests.

Rudolph’s Cabin in Christmas Pictured Rocks Family Rentals welcomes you to Rudolph’s Cabin! This recently remodeled home offers 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king log bed and private master bath with tub/shower and a double sink. The second bedroom can either be 2 separate twin XL beds or we can make it into a king bed for you. This home has a nice entry way with plenty of room to store your gear. We are conveniently located right on M28, about 1/4 mile west of Foggy’s Steakhouse and next to the entrance of Pictured Rocks RV & Campground. You can ride right from the home to miles and miles of groomed snowmobile trails in the winter or ORV trails in the summer. There’s plenty of room to park trucks and trailers for bringing your toys up. Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore begins in Munising, which is only about 5 miles east of the home. Our home was recently gutted down to the studs and completely remodeled. We opened up the living room/kitchen area and added a bathroom and brought the washer and dryer up to the main level. There’s a brand new 65” Roku TV in the living room and we have fiber optic wireless internet. We also added a tankless hot water heater so everybody gets a hot shower! We supply a crock pot, blender, drip coffee maker, and all the necessities to cook a meal at home. There’s a nice, large foyer with a bench and a shelf with hooks with plenty of room to store all your coats, bibs, helmets, boots, etc. -Separate rental agreement and security deposit hold required for all reservations.

There was plenty of firewood for us to purchase and use throughout the weekend, and Matt was very responsive and helpful when we needed to reach out. This campsite is private with its own entrance. Matt and his family obviously thought about their campers when offering the facilities, access to electric, water and to firewood. The way he runs this is very easy and organized. I wished I could have stayed longer. Next time I intend to stay much longer. The sunsets are beautiful and I loved sitting by the fireplace, watching the moon rise. Make sure you bring the supplies that you need. A trip to town can be a timely undertaking, but I love the remoteness.

Weekend Trip to Little Brocky Lake Cabin & Sauna

We had a beautiful weekend at little Brocky cabin. We tried to get in as much as possible for the weekend. We sauna’d, we swam and jumped off the dock, kayaked, hiked at Van Riper State park, and relaxed. I do wish I had brought a battery fan for our last night- it was humid and no air in the cabin while sleeping, but overall we had the best time and would definitely return.

Jacqueline’s trailer was an absolute dream! We really enjoy tent camping most of the time, but this was the perfect little upgrade. The trailer was clean and cozy and had everything we could’ve needed. Our two boys were over the moon to spend the day fishing and playing in the sand and water. Can’t wait to come back!!

If you are looking for a secluded camping spot with full hookup, this is it! We like our privacy when it comes to camping, so we stay away from campgrounds. While their house is on the property, it is far away from the camp site. We have 5 kids (8 and under) and they had a total blast. The hiking trails were perfect for exploring. We had a couple rainy days and there were plenty of nearby museums to check out. Swimming spot right down the road. The property is on a dead end road so there was very little traffic which was a great peace of mind when our kids were riding their bikes. We definitely will be back next time we plan a trip to the UP!

100% recommend Patrick takes care of all the little things that leave a huge impact. From chopped firewood to extra garbage bags, drinking water, extra blankets & towels, this place has everything. The lake was amazing for swimming and the sauna to lake dive may have been my favorite part. We planned on going out hiking but ended up spending most of our time just relaxing in the lake and around the campfire. We will definitely be coming back in the future
