4 nights at "Elysium Heritage Farm"

The farm is gorgeous — over 100 acres of peaceful, open land with amazing views of the stars and moon at night. I got to hang out with deer, goats, emus, cats, and dogs!! Kim, the host, is one of the most gracious and welcoming people you’ll ever meet. She really takes care of her guests and makes sure you have everything you need. Customer service? Chef’s kiss. It’s private, quiet, and just beautiful all around. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway surrounded by nature and animals!!!! 5 stars!!

Weekend Trip to "Elysium Heritage Farm"

I booked the farm camp for me and my then girlfriend, now fiancée for a weekend tent camping trip. It was our first camping trip together and the farm camp had plenty of amenities. The composting toilet was very clean, the covered picnic bench and fire grill was all we really needed for food, but there was a grill available for us it use as well. There were plenty of chairs too! The only thing missing was a shower but we used the BP gas station for showers. Only cost $5 per shower. There was tons of trails to walk down and if you love animals there were all sorts of critters to see. The pigeon cages are right next to the farm camp and you can hear them softly cooing from the camp if you listen carefully. There were a couple kittens, tons of chickens, some ginormous rabbits, and my favorites were the friendly goats! The campsite was extremely private. Those that are looking for a romantic getaway should strongly consider this place!

This is a magical place. We stayed at “The Farm” in a travel trailer. Such a nice relaxing site. From the campfire area with the covered picnic table. We were able to make our meals on the grill. The morning walks with my dogs around the pond and by the goats, chickens and ostriches. They loved that. 😊 We can’t wait to return in October. ❤️

Robert made us feel totally welcome and the spot is great. Water, electric hook up and close to everything but not too close. It's the perfect spot. If you need anything there is a Love's truck stop right down the road with clean showers and laundry area. This is a great location and I would totally stay here again.

What a nice place. Lots of walking areas in addition to a great, no fantastic camping site. I was so surprised with what they offered. Much more than most. A compost toilet with soap and water for clean up. A beautiful fire pit, a picnic table with a table cloth, 30 amp electrical service to name a few. They even had lights in the picnic table pavilion. This is 5 star for sure.

Robert was awesome. His place was a perfect spot to rest between Cleveland and the UP. He responded promptly and was so nice and accommodating during my two separate stays. Just a few minutes off 75. He has electric, so I was able to charge my Ecoflows in my van which was a nice. Highly recommend and will be back.

We had another awesome trip to Farm Camp! We will be back. Kim is awesome. She had an extension cord ready and waiting for us (last time our cord wouldn’t reach the outlet, as she said all we had to do was ask 💕) The girls caught a million fish, frogs and turtles. We hung out with the chickens, goats, emu and even a fawn wondering the property. We had so much fun kayaking and canoeing the pond. See you before winter Kim!

Omg!! What to say ?! 🤗This was our first hipcamp expirence EVER, and what a welcoming we had. Surprised my partner booking it last minute for labor day weekend knowing they had a "farm expirence" going on. He was in heaven. We woke up and fed the goats and pigs! Lil ' ol' rooster got us up right in time to start breakfast. We canoed down the dreamy canal handmade by the owners and did a little catch and release fishing 🐟 breathtaking. Our campsite couldnt have been more perfect and private with a Giant "small" bundle of wood. I recommend just adding that to your stay! Our hosts Kim and Jeff were kind and there for anything you might need. We are claiming them as adopoted parents ☺️ We set our tent up at "Farm Camp" in the area where the covered picnic table is. And it was so cozy! Nice outdoor kitchen with a grill and compost toilet! We are already booking our next stay! Highly recommend for couples looking for a quick romantic getaway! But also super rad for familes! ✌️🧡

Our first time tent camping, a neighbor recommended Sarah's land... IT WAS AMAZING! My daughter and I had so much fun hiking, biking, canoeing, and exploring before settling in night around the camp fire to share our experiences over s'mores. Quality time with my 7 year old is becoming more rare as school, activities, and friends keep our schedules busy. The opportunity to get away and try something new was more pleasurable than I imagined. We ending the trip with my daughter saying "Dad, I love camping, can we do this every year?" I felt elated. The friendly and responsive host, Sarah, made it even more enjoyable. Thank you for sharing your space.

This place is better than the picture show. We had SO MUCH fun! Our campsite was beautiful. It felt more like glamping than camping. Only problem we had was hooking up to the electrical. You need a pretty long cord, but come prepared and it would be no problem.
