We loved tent camping at the stonewall site!! Our hosts were incredibly understanding about a late arrival, and were quick to get back to us regarding any questions we had. The land was absolutely beautiful and we spent hours on the pond paddling around in the canoe, and fishing. The camping site itself was spacious, and yes you can hear some road noise but it absolutely fades away into the background after a short while. 100% will be back, and would reccomend.

We had a great time. It was exactly as described in previous reviews. Short, steep hike, a bit of noise from the road, but far enough away to feel in the woods. The highlight was the access to the pond, kayak and canoe. My kids enjoyed paddling around.

This is such a a nice and tranquil location, peaceful as the name says. There is plenty of space for your vehicle or RV and then a large side and back yard for any camping equipment you might have, along with firepit and chairs. A beautiful tree dominated the area providing excellent shade. Julie is a very helpful host and has good conversations!

Such a fun spot! Definitely a steep hike down, so pack accordingly. Road is loud but we got used to it. The walk down to the water is beautiful and we loved that we were able to use the canoe!

Julie was a fantastic host. She was extremely welcoming and her place was everything we needed. The driveway spot required no leveling and had both electric and water very close. It fit our 23’ camper trailer just fine with plenty of room for the truck as well. Location is perfect for access to beaches, parks and a little over an hour from Boston. Highly recommend and we will be back when we visit next year.

Great site! The hike in is steep as others have said, but only 1-2 minutes. (Might be rough if you have knee issues though.) The lake was beautiful for a sunset swim, and we mostly didn’t notice the car sounds from the roads. We would stay here again for sure.
