Maple Grove Farm

Maple Grove farm is a twenty acre preserved livestock and hay farm in Harford County Maryland.  It is home to sheep, alpaca, an old horse, chickens , dogs, and a cat or two. 

The world headquarters for Remsberg Inc Photo Studios is in the older farmhouse on the property and we lead photo safaris and workshops in Africa and England through the year.

Our crack team of Border Collies are here to assist you with all your outdoor activity needs from frisbee tossing to ball throwing. Gather around the fire under the stars and listen to the sounds of sheep doing whatever it is sheep do with one of our loaner dogs at your feet and horses grazing in the sunset on the hill. 

We are only three miles from W42 (Fallston Airport) if you are flying in. Nearby there are hiking trails and a swimming hole at Gunpowder Falls State Park one mile away.  Boordy Vinyards down the road has a farmers market Thursdays and wine tastings other days or get homemade ice cream at Prigel Creamery just past it. Take your canoe up to Eden Mill or Bike on the Ma & Pa and NCR trails nearby.

Creekside Orchard

Welcome to creek-side camping on our picturesque 16 acre farm!  Here are a few ground rules to help with your stay -PLEASE READ SO NONE OF THIS IS A SURPRISE-:

-Dogs are permitted if they are friendly and are trained well enough to listen and stay at your site.  Again, they must stay at your site unless walking with you on a leash.   If your dog inflicts damage to the sites (digging holes, chewing up piles of sticks, chewing up toys to bits etc. please clean up after your dogs.  We will provide shovels, rakes if you need!) 

- OVERLANDERS: You can bring your overland camper if you want, but you must park your vehicle in the parking spot across from your site at sites 1-3.  It is a safety issue to block the entryway/exit lane. Site 4 is large enough to accommodate your vehicle and these rules do not apply there.      

-This is a place for relaxation and reflection by the creek. No loud groups, or partying allowed.  If your neighbor can hear your music it is too loud.  If your host can hear it, you will be asked to turn it down or off all together.  

-This is a pack it in, pack it out site.  This includes food waste, dog waste, and any garbage produced.  Please respect that :)  DO NOT ATTEMPT TO BURN ANY WASTE IN THE FIRE RING BEFORE CHECKING OUT.   

-There is NO FISHING, kayaking or boating. Go for a swim and float, no prob!  But please float in the vicinity of your camp, so as not to disturb other campers.  

- Please do not invite visitors to your campsite.  This is an insurance issue, no exceptions.  If you want friends and family to experience our beautiful spot, please have them sign up and book a site, wouldn't that be more fun anyway!?  People coming to our land who are not booked at a site will immediately be shown off the property.  

-Due to virtually every booking asking for earlier arrival and later departure times, we are strictly adhering to the posted check in and check out times. 

You can enjoy the following on our sites:

- Free, unlimited wood for your campfires. Each site comes with a fire ring.

- Seating arrangements (picnic table, wrought iron loungers and chairs and wood benches).

- Charming outhouse situated over a septic certified holding tank with toilet paper and hand sanitizer.

Fawn View Farm, Pond & Fields

Our farm is right on the Mason Dixon line. The area has a wonderful community and a lot of open space which we love and have placed into land preservation so it can remain that way forever.&nbsp;We host private events, educational farm tours, have dairy cows across the road and cheese & eggs available on site to sell.&nbsp;Lots of hiking options within a 10 min drive, 3 breweries within 10 minutes, 2 vineyards within 20 minutes and a handful of local restaurants and eclectic find stores within a 10 min drive.

Stegan Farm

Our property is in Howard County, Maryland, and is super convenient to I-95, I-295, Hwy 32, and I-70. It is centrally located between Washington, DC, Baltimore, MD, and Frederick, MD. We are located right off of Highway 32 down a long, private paved driveway. What makes our property unique is all that it has to offer--it's an 18 acre oasis with mature woods protected by a conservation deed, lightly rolling hills, beautiful fields, wetlands, and a pond. It is not surprising to see deer and our local great blue heron on the property throughout the day. There is also a fire pit, which you are free to use. Firewood is free. 

The Agape

The Agape is located on 20 acres and over 2000' of shoreline in Maryland’s Eastern Shore, with breath taking sunsets every evening.

Pull up your RV [or rent ours], pitch a tent, kick up your feet and relax by the water. Soak in the sounds of nature and the sight of wild birds, from the Osprey, Bald Eagle and even the Great Blue Heron.

We are a pack it in, pack it out leave-no-trace camping site. There are no hookups, but during your stay, feel free to patronize the entire property. 

The views of the Wye River from the dock are absolutely beautiful and peaceful! There is also plenty of water for fishing, crabbing and even a small, man-made beach!

OUTDOOR POOL AND RAFT USE - The outdoor pool is closed indefinitely. There is a 4-person raft and a 2-person inflatable kayak available, for an additional fee per day. Both require PRIOR APPROVAL and a WAIVER to utilize.

Greenock Farm


Please read entire description and most importantly, there are no toilet facilities, so please pack it out, dig a hole or bring your own head if you're not self-contained. No presents for me or other campers, thank you.

45-acre Historic farm, several sites to choose from depending on adventure wanderlust (including a 4WD drive site).  Located on private gravel lane, approximately 1/2 mile off county road. Either corn or soybeans with a woods backdrop.  Secluded and private, yet 25 minutes to downtown Annapolis, 10 minutes to the Bay, great for cycling, paddleboarding, kayaking all 10/15 minutes from farm.  DC 45 minutes, Baltimore 1 hour.  Jug Bay wetlands, wineries, fun little waterfront towns and Bay front restaurants all within easy reach.

Check out individual sites for description, each has its own personality. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.  First listing actually has several options.  For large campers/coach/fifth wheelers the area by the tractor shed will be the best.  Around the corner there's two other choices both with firepits which will accommodate units up to 40 feet depending on your backing/maneuvering skills.

Field of Dreams and Sycamore Ridge will accommodate campers under 25 feet with some backing/maneuvering skills.

For those with 4WD and an off-road camper/trailer/tent choose Off the Grid, two entrances for easy access, travel along a logging road to an open site with fire pit.  Suitable during dry conditions and not responsible for damage to vehicle or camper.  Great spot for those who truly want to be in the woods off the beaten path, site takes about 5 minutes to reach due to low-speed access.

Maryland Health Society

We are the Maryland Health Society, one of the oldest clothing optional resorts and campgrounds in the USA.&nbsp; Established in 1934, we are 100% not-for-profit and 100% volunteer run.&nbsp; We have 98 secluded acres of wooded beauty, including cabins, RV sites with 50amp service, tent sites, swimming pool, clubhouse with kitchen and full restrooms, BBQ pit, 5 outdoor showers, 7 miles of hiking trails.&nbsp; Bordering the&nbsp;Patuxent River, we are 10 minutes from Washington, DC. About Tyme Farm

About Tyme Farm is a 26 plus acre  privately owned farm used for crops such as corn, soy beans and sunflowers. The property includes a  150+ year old stone farm house, large historic barn on the barn quilt tour in Carroll County, renovated camping cabin for those not into rough camping, fields, streams , woods for hiking, plenty of wild life and lots of quiet.  The farm is surrounded by other farms in the agricultural preservation program yet you are only 5 miles from stores, movies, antiques and other aspects of civilization or entertainment if needed.  Enjoy watching the deer come out of the woods and meander along the stream and fields at dusk and return in the morning.  Electric, water, fire pit  and a Port a Pot is available even for rough campers.  Pets welcome but must be on a leash or exercise pen or with their owners in some way while here for their safety. There is a large fenced yard for dogs that just have to run if needed.  Glamorous camping with a furnished heated/cooled cabin is available for rent by the night for those who do not have camping equipment or do not want to rough it.  For those that have been camping before and have all the equipment there is plenty of room for a tent or camper near the buildings or by the stream or woods.  For RV owners there is 50amp electric service in the barn.  You will need an RV extension cord to access it.  I have a 100 ft RV ext. cord but it can be farther than that depending on where you park.  Bring one of your own to be sure.  It is a farm and not set up like an RV park with numerous outlets.

Furnished cabin is now available for those without camping equipment.  Cabin is heated and air conditioned.  Comfortable in any weather.  Sleeps 4.

Queen size bed sleep two.  Bookcase will be filled with reading material.

Table and chairs can be inside for private dining or taken outside for a cook out.

Large fenced yard can be reserved to let your dog run.

Flat mowed area for your tent or RV.  Electric and water available for hook up.  Great place for a party.

Willows Farm

Willows Farm is a beautiful 165 acre, regenerative, cattle farm, raising 100% grass finished beef and high quality hay. We are excited to announce that we have our first 100% grass finished beef ready and waiting (May 2023) for your purchase here at the farm. Give Curtis a call at 301.252.1122 Our farm is family owned and operated and is located in the beautiful rolling hills of northeast Frederick County in Union Bridge Maryland, just off route 75 on a quiet, country road. Please note the farm entrance address is 11935 Simpsons Mill Road, Keymar, MD, but the farm is technically located in Union Bridge. Enjoy the peace and quiet of nature and relax near the campfire with your wood fired dinner. This site has electric and water hookup and firewood is available for a small fee.  The campsite is situated at the highest point of Willows Farm, offering tranquil farm views, gorgeous mountain vistas and spectacular sunsets. Soak up the beautiful countryside during your stay on the farm and hike our 25 acres of wooded property and chase a few bunnies and spot a herd of deer. Take a brisk walk to the cattle pastures and chat with our curious and friendly Black Angus heifers, Eleni, Lola and Maggie and say hi to our horse Albe.  All of the fencing at Willows Farm is electric to keep our cattle and horse in and you will get shocked if you touch it. Please be mindful of this with your pets and children. If you are fortunate enough to have the timing right, you can even watch an airplane take off and land on our farm grass strip — "Willows Landing", which is just to the north (cardinal direction) of the campsite.  Just 30 minutes to Gettysburg battlefields, historical downtown Frederick, and many other exciting places for exploration, Willows Farm is a great location for fun! Spend an evening watching Bull riding and barrel racing at J Bar W Ranch just a few minutes down the street in Johnsville. If vineyards and  breweries are your thing we are just 15 - 30 minutes from many fine establishments. A few of our favorites are Black Ankle Vineyards, Linganore Winecellars and Attaboy Beer. Antique shopping abounds in the nearby charming, little town of New Market. So you're hungry and have a hankering for local cuisine?  Take a five minute drive to the quaint downtown of Union Bridge and visit one of the three delicious family run restaurants. You can even take a few minutes to give your truck a bath at the Union Bridge Car Wash in the middle of town. Enjoy your stay and please contact us if we can help with anything.

The campsite is surrounded by 164 acres of rolling farmland and there are seven pastures behind your campsite that you might catch our herd of cattle grazing.  

When you cook over a wood fire, everything just tastes better.

Note:

For the winter months we are closed, we reopen in march. The furthest we are open at any given moment is about six months. We close when hunting season comes in during the fall.

Description of camp:

This is not a glampsite! There are limited utilities here. No Drinking water, just water for the fire. There is a self serve firewood store, you may also forage dead wood. Here only one group may camp at a time. The campsite is a big level hilltop clearing surrounded by acres of woods. There is stone driveway that leads to the site that gets you back into the woods. The driveway is wide enough for trucks, trailers, vans, etc. Since the site is up high it gets a great breeze which helps on warm days and gets good cell service.

The campsite gets great sun and has shaded areas along the sides that make for good tent pitching. We have had people set up hammocks, tents, tarps, or camp in their vehicle. We provide a privy (outhouse), an outdoor showerroom/changing room, picnic tables, and a metal fire pit with grill rack that you can put in the fire pit if you wish to cook/grill over it.

The woods are hilly so biking is not recomended. On the property we have 2+ miles of hiking trails. PLEASE feel free to contact us for any questions. Also please look at our pictures for a better idea of what we offer.

Nearby Activities: A short drive from here will take you to Gettysburg, York, or Hanover.  Codorus park offers great hiking and is next to a lake. There are many excellent restaurants and brewpubs nearby, including the award winning Warehouse Gourmet Bistro and Brewpub. For more information read our activities section to find out what other things we provide or have nearby that you can do.

Pricing:

We have a weeknight discount for the site which is 29 dollars (Sunday-Thurdsay nights). Friday night and Saturday night we charge 35 dollars. Any additional guests after five we charge 9.50 dollars per person. We allow up to 10 guests total. 

Rules:

Extinguish camp fires that are unattended and to only make them in the designated fire pit, no noise past 9 o'clock, discharging of firearms and fireworks are prohibited, do not bring firewood (to prevent invasive bug spread), keep your pets attended/on a leash, clean up after your pets, no cutting down trees

Fiddlers Green Farm

When you come here you are experiencing the rebirth of farming in this country while getting to connect with the natural world.

This historic piece of preserved farmland has been in our family for 5 generations. The property is just over 100 acres with about half in forest conservation. We have two streams that join one another and create an amazing habitat for all kinds of wildlife.

Our farm has always been a fun and healing place for our friends and family to gather. We love sharing the peaceful seclusion here with folks who enjoy and respect nature. We are a certified organic farm in the early stages of transforming it into a fully regenerative, permaculture operation.

We grow hemp, medicinal herbs, and small grains as well as keep bees and a small tribe of goats.
