Jones Pond is just a few miles away and has a public beach.  Take a ferry to Bar Harbor and then retreat to the quiet side of the Bay.  Hike Schoodic Mountain and take a swim at the end on Donnell Pond.  Restaurants and shops are ready for you in Winter Harbor.  Enjoy the sunrise trail for 4 wheelers only a few miles from the campsite. With 3 acres of clearing and 60 acres on the property to explore, you can Enjoy all that DownEast has to offer. The site is accessible by car, has a picnic table and camp grill on the premises.
