I stayed in The Stevie glamping yurt at Lake Georgia Sue Campground, and it was absolutely perfect. The view was beautiful, the area was peaceful and quiet, and everything was spotless. The entire property is stunning, with horses, goats, mini pigs, and other animals that add to the overall experience.
The lake itself is gorgeous, and the residents and employees were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. It truly feels like a little hidden gem.
Location-wise, it’s great too—Jesse James Cave is just a short drive away, and there’s a local diner nearby with amazing food. If you’re visiting in the fall, the scenery is especially breathtaking.
Highly recommend staying here, especially in The Stevie!

This place is amazing! My best friend and I decided to have a girls weekend and camp out. The hosts were so nice and accommodating. The property was absolutely beautiful! We went towards the end of October and it was still stunning! Tons of animals that are so used to people and dogs that they ignored our dogs thinking they were big and tough. We are already planning on going back next weekend!

Weekend Trip to Lake Georgia-Sue
Loved visiting Lake Georgia Sue. The Stevie was magical and secluded. Every bit of our experience was pleasant. We enjoyed being in nature and seeing so many adorable animals. We also made use of a tandem bike for a ride around the lake. 10/10 recommend.

Weekend Trip to Lake Georgia-Sue
Fred and his staff have created such a special space over in the Stevie tent, and the entire property, for that matter! They made us feel very welcome, while still giving us the privacy we desired.
You can feel how much care has gone into the grounds and my partner and I could not have had a more enjoyable stay! There are cute little side trails, horses and goats wandering about, and plenty of space for exploring and activities. Could not recommend more!

This place is fantastic! I can’t even begin to describe how amazing it is, 5 stars! Fred goes out of his way to make you feel welcomed and will give you a tour in what I like to call the Walter White mobile with no doors. Good time hate to leave and will be back again and again

This is the kind of place you sorta don't want to tell anyone else about--an absolute gem of a spot you want to keep to yourself! The Stevie spot was a perfectly secluded get away tucked into the woods but we were able take just a couple of steps to enjoy the beautiful lake, trails and amazing scenery.. I came to relax, but found myself almost rushing around with my camera to take some really great shots of my dogs all weekend. Just the tent itself was so cool! The spot was very well stocked with thoughtful amenities and a plush cozy bed that was more comfortable than most AirBNB beds I've stayed in. We were able to fully relax and even our dogs got to enjoy an unplugged weekend under the stars without another soul in sight. The Stevie was the perfect spot for my birthday weekend!

1 night at Lake Georgia-Sue
If you are looking for a rustic place to stay where you can be secluded, this place is for you. The goats and horses were so fun to watch. The property has great potential and they are actively working on improvements. The bed in The Stevie was probably the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in…and I’m not exaggerating. The hosts were great and had a fire going for me in my site when I arrived. I’d love to come back when I have more time.

The campsites were clean, and land easy to navigate. We loved camping right by the lake, and being able to swim and paddleboard. We enjoyed petting the horses and goats as well! It was a short walk to the restroom from our spot. The train came by often but we also encountered rain while we were there so it was less distracting than the rain!

This property was beautiful. Big huge sites right by the water with plenty of good shade trees. My kids loved visiting all the farm animals and playing on the swings. The fishing was pretty good. We caught several fish and a couple turtles. It was just a nice peaceful campground without a ton of neighbors. We’ll be back for sure

My girlfriend and I, had an amazing time. The host was very accommodating and pleasantly nice. Raymond the donkey was our favorite, campsites were great. We truly enjoyed the visit and will be back for sure !!
