My great-grandfather purchased this land in 1921 and since then, my family has been farming the best way that we knew how. Our customers drive from all parts of central Kansas to shop at Jako Farm because our food is different than food in the grocery store. If you're up at sunrise, you'll see Ken bringing the cows up to the barn for milking (April through November). Its pretty quiet here, except for the subtle noises of wildlife. (Fair warning: if you're in a tent, you will probably hear the milking machine kick on at 6:30am.) We're also proud to be a smell-free farm because all animals live out on pasture. There are killer sunrises and sunsets here.
