The pasture is quite visible from Old Route 66, nearly adjoining it. Therefore people traveling “the Mother Road” find it convenient to stay with us. Grass is the best forage for horses, especially older ones, so we take care of our pastures, making for beautiful scenery for campers, too. Plus the entire back mile is bordered by old forest. And there is a swimming hole not a half mile away. This is a quiet and private site, bordered by a neighbor's old forest on back, other neighbor's cattle pasture on side, and you're in one of the pastures used by the Horse Sanctuary. (You are camping about 1/4 mile, more or less, from our house.) We regularly see coyote, wild turkeys, deer, fireflies, and the like.   We are just 1/2 mile off Old Route 66, therefore there are quirky little museums and great restaurants (for such a rural area!).   Plus we are only about an hour's drive from Branson. This was a GREAT place to stay! Everything was super clean, the host was super friendly and helpful when I asked for recommendations. There were two towns very close by for anything we needed and Tony was very friendly and able to accommodate a last minute added night! Also, my discount code didn’t work when I was checking in and I messaged the owners and they replied and sent me the discount immediately! I appreciate the quick responses and assistance!

Booked this about a month out for my trip thru Texas. The RV park is pretty new according to Anthony the owner who greeted me after my arrival. It's very well laid out with 10 newly built tiny homes and many pull thru fully equipped RV spaces. The park also contains full bathrooms, laundry facilities, dog park, pickle ball court, code enabled entry gate and a disc golf course. Would highly recommend this as a place to stay especially if you like full rv hookups resort like atmosphere spotless clean amenities. The price to stay was a bargain considering all the amenities provided.

Weekend Trip to Bigfoot County Campgrounds

Found some trees perfect for a hammock, hiked down the rock trail, made a campfire cake, had camp coffee and enjoyed the scenery. It was my kind of party. Camper was in good shape, smelled and looked clean. Having a flushable toilet, a queen size bed to sleep in, and the option to use the stove were all very convenient (especially with a 4 year old). Great place for the price, I enjoyed the atmosphere and it was peaceful and fun. Host was responsive.

Weekend Trip to Camp Mi Casa

When I arrived I was upgraded to a site that had a small privacy wall a couple chairs and some neatly decorated route 66 paraphernalia on the privacy wall. The RV park has full electric, water and sewer hookups on each site. There is a bathhouse that contains men's and women's bathrooms with showers and a washer dryer area for campers use. I must say the bath house was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The park itself has a New Mexico midwest vibe to it even though it's in Southwest Missouri. Would definitely go there again.

I just wanna say that Justin has been very helpful and understanding to my husband and I and are dog. He made it very easy to find where they was located. Very kind people and very beautiful spots to stay . I definitely will be staying and I recommend Justin and his land to stay at . Hands down.

We had a great time here. Beautiful land and cozy cabin. Very comfortable and great kitchen set up with induction stove and convection countertop oven. Everything was very clean and well stocked with everything from board games to laundry soap. The hosts John and Ginny are nice and welcoming. We will definitely come back when we can stay longer.

1 night at Stardust Market Garden

This is my third time camping here as a stopover on a roadtrip and I have enjoyed every stay. It is close enough to the highway to be easy to get to and off the beaten path enough to be a quiet place where you can encounter wildlife. Kelda is welcoming and a good communicator. I also appreciate the access to drinking water and a bathroom. I would definitely recommend Stardust.

Jason was a great host. We picked this spot for the hot tub and he had it ready for us when we arrived. The fenced-in space for our friend's dog was also very much appreciated. Bring some leveling blocks and you're good to go!

Weekend Trip to Peoria Hills

John and his wife were so kind and attentive. Very responsive and communicative, and made me feel welcome and this spot was safe and laid out nicely! The cedar outdoor shower with the inline water heater worked perfectly, and was just heaven. This spot is on an old Drive-In movie theater property, and you can feel and see the nostalgia. I highly recommend this spot!

1 night at Warriors o' Rainbow Horse Sanctuary

The field had a tree line easily seen Fire pit and firewood ready. The animals are all friendly and they everyone is great to work with. There is water available but it is really a dry camping location. Self contained is best camping but the place and people are fantastic. We had no complaints. We strung up a hammock and enjoyed the fire, lightening bugs and stars!

Weekend Trip to Warriors o' Rainbow Horse Sanctuary

Really enjoyed staying here! This is primitive camping in a horse pasture, but the views are great (surrounded by horses and lots of stars on clear nights) and we really enjoyed the amenities. There is a hot tub in a green house, opportunities to feed horses, etc. We found a couple fun swimming holes nearby and enjoyed checking out some nearby roadside attractions like Red Oak.
