We offer one private site on four acres, including a small pond, beach, treehouse, trails and peace and quiet. In addition to the tipi, there are kayaks, canoe, fire ring, wood supply, cooking equipment, dutch ovens, hammock, and tables and chairs Catch and release fishing is allowed. Campers will need to bring sleeping bags and food. Dogs are welcome. There is a rustic restroom (outhouse), with an outdoor shower. Water and electricity are available at the restroom and campsite.

We had such a peaceful stay! When we arrived, we were immediately greeted and lovingly shown around the property. You can tell that there was so much love and positivity in every pocket of air. We stayed at the Eagle’s Nest, which was very private and had a wonderful view. To our delight there were hammocks inside too :). We loved the cows, birds, and frogs as well. We will definitely be back. Thank you for sharing your corner of paradise.

We stayed in the Cabin, and, after being helped to settle in and given the tour, spent 2 days in the most pleasant and relaxing setting I've seen in years! Scott was very accomodating, and the property is very well maintained.
Just make sure to bring plenty of bug spray. The mosquitoes weren’t awful, until after a brief rain when the wind died, at which point we had to retreat to the cabin to avoid being ravenously dined on 😅
9/10, if you like nature, camping, don't mind the lack of powered sites, and aren'tparticularly shy, then head to JT Ridges, you won't regret it!

My family and I had such a wonderful stay. Adequate cooking supplies, beach toys by the pond, canoe and treehouse to play in, and the tipi was comfortable. Maria was friendly, responsive and hospitable. We brought our dog and 4yo kiddo and a great time was had by all. Thanks, Maria!

Scott and Kimberly were wonderful hosts. They made us first time naturists feel very comfortable and welcome. My wife has always said she did not want to give naturism a try but once we got there she was willing to. All because of the comfortable nature of our hosts and the property. We had such a wonderful stay at Lucky Star Farms near Iowa City! The Airstream was incredibly cute, clean, and comfortable. The property itself is beautiful, with a peaceful pond, a fire pit by the water, and animals everywhere you look.
We absolutely loved Tomas the llama — he was our favorite and so friendly! There were also sheep, goats, dogs, and cats roaming around, which made the whole experience feel magical. And of course, Crash the toeless cat is truly the star of the whole farm… besides Susan, who is the real MVP! Susan was so welcoming and friendly and gave us an amazing farm tour. You can tell how much love and care goes into this place.

If there was a doctor to prescribe spiritual isolation, this cabin is the perfect answer! No ayauasca needed! I couldn't get back here fast enough. It’s perfect. Clear view for the sunset & sunrise. The teepee was unexpectedly comfortable, being able light up the fire pit in the inside was a 10. It was 45 degrees last night and we slept like new born babies. Trails cut out to enjoy the colors and the life that the their prairie brings to the land. Great hospitality, I even got the chance to enjoy the taste of delicious fruit and drinks produced from the land.. if this place don’t Bless your camping needs, you’re not a camper. If I keep giving details it might seem too good to be true, I advise you to check it out. Overall it was a pleaser to meet them and enjoy this wonderful idea for us to enjoy nature and the peace that comes with it.. We will be back for sure.

There were some nice updates to the cabin since my last visit. Steps were added going down to the cabin rather than just a path. Other additions included a new magnetic screen door, a cabinet hung on the wall to hold your gear/food stuffs etc., some reading materials and a guest book, a love seat and table inside and a hand sink on the deck. There was a solar light added to the W.C. but im not sure it gets enough sunlight to charge because it didn't go on. There is also a new cloth fence heading down to the river sites blocking the neighbors view and an outdoor shower is now available for $5/5gal. All very nice additions to an already beautiful, quiet piece of property! And don't forget to book a massage! It is next level! I will definately be back...I think this is my new "Happy Place"!!

I've stayed at walking stick adventures multiple times. It's a private single camp site in a quite rural area. The hosts and campsite provide everything needed for a comfortable stay. Just bring your own bedding and food. Maria and ken are always pleasant and quickly reapond to anything that comes up. The pond and trails are enough to wear out the kids and dogs. This is my family's favorite place to camp.

Susan greeted us outside the camper when we arrived & we instantly felt at home. She has such a lovely presence & Lucky Star Farm is truly magical! Their vintage camper, “Betty” is adorable, meticulously clean, & thoughtfully stocked. We were quickly greeted by several resident barn cats & could see llamas, goats, & sheep from our little patio. We had such a beautifully relaxing stay—truly one of the best camping experiences we’ve had as a family. Our hosts have literally thought of everything to make it comfortable, peaceful, and easy to enjoy. It’s clear they care deeply about creating a welcoming space, and it shows in all the thoughtful details.
The site is super kid-friendly! Our daughter loved playing in the sand, swinging in the hammock, and just exploring the outdoors. We were able to slow down, be present, and really enjoy each other’s company.
The weather was perfect during our visit, and our dog had the time of her life swimming in the pond and canoeing right along with us. It was such a joy to watch her have fun too.
One of the sweetest touches was the hosts sharing some of their homemade wine—it was absolutely delicious and such a generous, personal gesture that made the experience feel even more special.
We left feeling refreshed, reconnected, and full of gratitude. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unplug and make meaningful memories in a truly thoughtful and peaceful setting

The Eagles Nest was a A+! 16 foot room had plenty of room for my freestanding hammock stand. Great view off the balcony, over looking the cattle pond, over the fence line. The sound of Bull frogs was nice to hear over night.
Scott is a Great Host! Spent one night at the cabin, then moved to a campsite along the Wapsi River.
Maybe he will build a Eaglse Nest 2 above the other Bluff. ;-). You have to bring your own sleep system. A step up from a tent, with screen windows
