We arrived on Saturday morning. Another group left shortly after so we had the place to ourselves. Lots of property to roam around on. Played football all in the grassy hill and had the most fun using the shooting range. Great firewood available and some nice spots to set up camp. Will definitely be back and bring more people! The property was a pleasant surprise for being in a rural area. It was nice to have options of river access for kayaking or a salt water pool to reside in. It was clean. If you’re a tent camper your areas appeared nicely spaced out. If you have an RV you will be at the entrance just off the road (which was rarely traveled). Wide open places if you were to have a group you would have the front all to yourselves. Kayaking on the river was fun. It was a nice couple of days.

Amazing spot!! Allen was such a kind and welcoming host. There are kayaks in the storage bin that you can use to float and enjoy the water. There’s also a great pond next to the farm with huge fish! The river is shallow, so it’s not really for swimming, but it’s perfect for relaxing and enjoying water activities. Totally recommend!!

We had camp site 1 and was great. Pine needles all over the ground really made a decent underlayment. Fire put was good grounds were good. Watched the meteor shower from here. We did experience what a few people said about the neighbor to the west working on a diesel truck really late but not through the night. Nothing was problematic from the host. Everything was great and we will be back again.
