There are several designated camping areas, a driveway for car campers, a tiny house, and a converted school bus [skoolie]. We are flexible with our hosting. We have owned this farm for the last 30 years slowly helping it evolve into a gem of sustainability. The market produces herbs and vegetables and there is a 3 acre warm season native grassland prairie with forbes and flowers. This gives us the opportunity to educate those who visit on how to raise their own herbs vegetables and to the major benefits of the prairie. we are adding another 13 acres to the prairie in the next 2 years.Learn more about this land:Please check in by 4 pm EDT or make other arrangements with us at least 2 days before your stay. We have a simple campsite on a deck located on the hillside of our backyard forest which overlooks a private and isolated ravine with heavy tree coverage. Although located in town with wifi, the campsite really feels like your own remote getaway. Featuring a 2 person tent, hot shower, fire pit, and electrical cooler with cold drinking water this is the perfect stop for a comfortable nights sleep!
