Weekend Trip to Acacia Farms
I absolutely loved my stay at Acacia farms! Leah Ann accommodated my traveling needs and really went the extra mile to make sure quests feel comfortable. The shed house was adorable and cozy, and the location featured many extra amenities including a fire pit, a large backyard, and of course a barn full with baby goats that made me wish I could have stayed longer!! If you are passing through the area I would highly recommend booking here.

I had a great experience at The Hollow at Cattail Springs! I was the only one onsite during my time there, so I had the whole place available to me. There was plenty of firewood so the fire stayed hot, I had complete access to the pond, and I had ample time of solitude which I was after. I couldn't recommend booking through Cole enough! He was there waiting for me when I arrived and was like talking to someone I had known for a long time. Thanks for the hospitality!

Dwight and Happy Camper is friendly and hospitable. The cabin a clean, quant and quiet getaway with tons of charm. We have been to the cabin a few times and enjoy fishing in the pond and fire pit. Where to start with this review??
The directions to get there were easy to navigate, and communication with Dwight was super easy.
The location was absolutely beautiful, and serene. The cabin was super comfortable. The site had many amenities that our children loved. The adults favorite was the firepit, the kids loved the access to the boat and the rocking chairs on the porch. Watching the ducks and rooster and making up stories of their antics was a close 2nd.
We were only there for a couple of days but we are excited to come back next year.

Weekend Trip to Urban Farm
We were on a road trip and need a nice place to recharge and sleep for one night. It was a last minute reservation and Justin was quick to respond and accommodate us. We wish we could have stayed longer . The apartment with the deck was spacious, clean, quiet and had a nice bathroom and kitchenette. We left early in the morning but were able to visit with the two friendly kitties , chickens, goats and a dog. Got a peak at the gardens too! Great spot close to a lot of shops etc. but feels rural! We had a lot of camping equipment in the back of our truck so we appreciated the gated and locked parking.

The landscape here is beautiful. Lots of wetland life. This particular campsite is great for car and tent camping. Easy in easy out. Near toilet. One side is small rocks the other side is soil. The soil can become mud with heavy rain but as Cole and Janel further develop their camp each week it’s getting better and better. They put lots of passion into their work and are super great hosts. The week I was there they were installing a stream that runs from the top of the hill to the pond. What a cool feature and this will help mask the sound of the highway.

This is my new favorite camping spot in Indiana!! It's a quiet, hidden little gem. Our camping spot, The Hollow, was nestled between a couple other spots but there was so much room and privacy away from others, and each spot is settled around a really nice pond where you can fish or take a nice walk around. No electricity or running water, so there's no shower which would be a nice addition but we don't mind either way. The owner welcomed us upon arrival and was so kind and welcoming. The Campsites are in a very peaceful location, by a placid lake surrounded by the shade of a forest. It’s close to nature. I went to sleep to a chorus of bullfrogs croaking woke up to a choir of birds singing to the rising sun. The Campground at the State Park was full, but Cattail Springs offered more space, solitude and nearness to nature. I would recommend it to anyone.

Weekend Trip to Happy Campers Campground
I absolutely loved camping on Dwight’s land. Dwight and his wife are absolutely amazing people. They were very helpful with everything his wife even offered us life jackets and floaties so that we could go swimming in the pond and on a very hot day it was very helpful. I honestly would live there if I could haha. I would HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dwight and Happy Campers as a place for a peaceful getaway,and I definitely will be back very soon

Afternoon visit with the goats, super friendly and sweet.
All the necessities for a comfortable stay, doing your business in a bucket wasn’t as terrible as I thought
Showering outside was actually peaceful, bring your own toiletries there are towels supplied

Very peaceful and quiet place to get away from the noise and enjoy a nice cabin along with A fire pit and swimming in the pond. the hosts were very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys the countryside.

This place is so amazing!! A must stay if you’re passing through. Gorgeous little tiny home, charming decor, and right in the goat pasture!! The outdoor shower looked out on the herd of little goats and it was just so magical! What a wonderful gem! The host was super responsive and accommodating, making sure my dog’s needs were considered. Absolutely check this spot out!!

We've been coming here since 2020 (both during spring and winter) and absolutely love the place. We made it our annual tradition and now we have expanded our plans to an additional stay at their bigger cabin - smaller for June trips, the bigger one for November trips. If you'd like to disconnect from "the chaos", yet be comfortable during your c(gl)amping (a real restroom, shower, heatingm portable AC, grill, fireplace, etc) and within driving distance to a store and restaurants in case you forgot something, this is your place! Rugged enough if you want to go a bit rougher, yet all amenities for you less adventurous team members. This place is truly awesome! Proprietors are an absolute national treasure! We've been coming back here every year, just got back from another great outing and starting this year we are making it a twice-yearly tradition. Try it! You will not be disappointed! Cheers!

We absolutely LOVED this place! The cabin was impeccably clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We came with our 2 year old and she had so much fun on the farm. It is one of the most beautiful places I’ve been to and the animals were so sweet. Not to mention, best hosts ever. We will definitely be back!

Weekend Trip to Acacia Farms
My partner and I wanted to dip our toes into the glamping life, and Acacia Farms was the perfect place for us to do this! The property is lovely and the tiny cabin adorable with all the finishing touches to make it feel homey. We absolutely LOVED the goats and the barn cats (if you love intense kitty snuggles, you are going to have a ball with PK, the tuxedo cat ❤️ The self check in process was a breeze and we had complete privacy. I can’t wait to return with my grandson!

my family & i loved Dwight's place! we booked the day of & were greeted when we arrived to the cabin on the property. cabin was very clean & oh so cozy w. a beautiful view of the pond on site. my son did some pretty good fishing, room to walk the dog around & probably the cleanest outhouse i've been in to date!
