Discover a hidden gem at our RV park, which reopened on July 1, 2018, after several years of closure. This unique destination offers daily, weekly, and seasonal rentals for RV sites, cottages, and tent sites, making it the perfect getaway for outdoor enthusiasts and families alike.
The new ownership team is dedicated to revitalizing the park, and significant upgrades have already been made. The beach has been extended with fresh sand, and the beach bar and restaurant are now open for guests to enjoy. Our office now offers carryout beer, alcohol, Dippin’ Dots, and convenience store items. Currently, 29 cabins are available for rent, with 12 having undergone complete renovations. Additionally, a new boat ramp and piers have been installed, along with 21 covered boat lifts available for rent, and complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the park.
While the two-story banquet hall remains closed and boarded up, plans for future renovations are in the works. Over the next few years, we aim to renovate more cottages, with 12 already updated. Although both bathhouses are operational, they are in need of improvements, and we plan to renovate the lower village bathhouse by the end of the 2025 season. Currently, we offer 43 daily,

Great experience at Kurt’s property. The camper spot had everything we needed for a flawless stay. We enjoyed the property, although we were busy enough on our trip that I don’t feel like we were able to fully enjoy the space or make a fire with the provided firewood. Our stay was short, but this campsite was absolutely perfect. The property was peaceful, well-maintained, and exactly what we were looking for.
One of the highlights was the on-site organic store at Perkins Good Earth Farm. We picked up several items, and everything we bought was fresh and absolutely delicious. It was such a unique touch that really added to the experience.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. Highly recommend this Hipcamp to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with the added bonus of amazing farm-fresh products.

This worked out well for our weekend stay while visiting family in the area. Due to being gone most of the day for other events, we weren't able to take full advantage of the nice fire ring and picnic table area. However, the full hook-ups with the added benefit of WiFi were greatly appreciated after a full day. This is a lovely, quiet property well-maintained by a helpful host. We hope to return again.

Love being the only RV around! We’ve traveled the entire US over the past two years, and stayed in many RV parks and out of the norm spots.
This spot is beautiful, peaceful, and we love being by the horses. We have two dogs who also love the horses.
Michael is friendly and helpful! Definitely would stay here again.
One or two caveats: water has a lot of rust in it, so come prepared to change filters often
Spot is in the close vicinity of a construction yard so there is a lot of movement and pieces of equipment around

This was a great spot for us to stop for the work week on our roadtrip. Peaceful, private, nice camper hookups, and the wifi didn’t let us down once! The parking pad is level and pulling in was super easy. The best part was the clear view of the night sky and the field of fireflies at dusk.
Kurt was a great host - very thoughtful. He came by to introduce himself but wasn’t intrusive. He sent timely and thorough communication.
It was a quick drive into town and Purdue’s campus. We’ll definitely keep it in mind for future travels.

We spent 2 weeks here this time, and it was just what the doctor ordered. Privacy, quiet, nature, and pure peace. Nothing but the sounds of the woods by day and star-lit nights by evening. This is our second time staying at Kurt’s this year. We will be back next Spring for sure. This site is private and quiet. Kurt has thought of everything. You can tell that he is a camper by the way that the site is designed. The site is easy to back into. The sewer, water and electric hookups are perfectly placed and easy to use. This was our first HipCamp experience and we were not dissapointed. Kurt's property is beautiful; located far enough from town there is no light polution, so the stars were stunning. The campsite is thoughtfully located for extremely easy access and can accommodate any size rig. Kurt was a wonderful host, greeted us and offered to be available by text. He provided firewood! This spot offered us the seclusion and peace we wanted and we highly recommend staying here. Three days felt like a week to us, without the distractions of a noisy campground; just peacefulness.
