The Mirror lake property has been a family farm for over 185 years. There is a family cemetery that dates to 1832. The bus is adorable, the Whitney provided information ahead of time and then was always responsive when I had questions. The clubhouse looks like a great place to spend time...though I wasn't there long at all - just a quick stop-over on a road trip. I wish I'd had more time to explore because the images online don't seem to do it justice.
It was cold November night and I got a head's up from Whitney - and they provided a small propane heater. I knew I was taking a risk booking when I did, but I very much appreciated the thought. Still, I woke up to snow, which I absolutely hadn't expected!
The location is definitely out of the way (a benefit), but somewhere I'd go out of my way to go back to for a longer stay.

This was such a beautiful property, all the lights and little trails to walk through. You could tell they spend dedicated time to making the stay feel special and comforting! Seeing the chickens was so sweet and the bus was so cozy. We will definitely come back over the summer!

This was the perfect place to spend an evening reflecting and setting intention! The whole land is gorgeous. The hosts were very friendly (but not overly so ;)). The bus is quaint and welcoming and tucked away for privacy. As a female, solo camper, I would highly recommend for anyone who wants the feel of solo camping, but with a little assurance of safety/ security and access to home-based accessories (i.e. indoor toilet and coffee in the am!) I'll definitely be back!

From the moment we pulled into the property it was clear that this was going to be a great experience. The property is beautiful and meticulously maintained. We stayed the night in the little house and it was a very relaxing getaway. The house and clubhouse were both very clean and plenty of amenities were provided by Whitney, including a beautiful library with many great books and games. The location is convenient near the state park and some great restaurants, wineries, and coffee shops. We loved our stay and will return again soon!

My mom and I loved our 3 day stay here! The bus was extremely cozy and the property was absolutely gorgeous. There were so many thoughtful details throughout! We loved feeding the chickens and played with the kitten Annie every time we passed the shed. The location was super convenient as it was a 5 min drive from the state park where we kayaked and hiked, and about 10 mins from black pine animal sanctuary. The bathroom was clean, fresh coffee every morning, and the bed was so comfortable. We loved falling asleep to the sound of cicadas and waking up to the rooster. Highly recommend!!

This was a perfect, quiet place to catch up on some rest. The cabin is absolutely primitive, no power, no water (there is a nice outhouse). It is also beautiful, well maintained, and super clean. The host is amazing too. They gave super clear directions and were incredibly sweet and thoughtful. I would 100% recommend!

3 nights at Fallen Tree Campground
Whitney and Jered were great hosts and truly went above and beyond! The bus was so cozy and we had our own fire pit and picnic table. The bus campsite felt very private, while still only being a few minute walk to the bathroom/clubhouse. The bus and clubhouse were both stocked with cooking utensils, plates, candles, and recommendations/maps for the area. A nice added bonus was the squatty potty in the bathroom in the clubhouse. The bus was definitely warm (a few windows have screens so there is a little cross breeze), but we brought handheld fans and were really only inside to sleep. The rooster made for an early alarm clock, but honestly added to the fun of the weekend for us. The property is full of native plants, berries, wildflowers, and greenery. We hope to go back to stay at the bus again soon!

Lovely, adorable, quaint, sweet, memorable, intentional, organic; just a few words to describe this property and our stay at the Tiny House. It felt so refreshing to get away and enjoy the peacefulness of this place. We sincerely LOVED our stay here, I wish we could have stayed longer. The Tiny House was furnished with bed sheets and blankets, a quick use propane heater to get the chill out. The clubhouse was clean and tidy, we enjoyed looking at all the decor. The fridge had many different drink options to choose from. They truly put so much love and thought into this place, the hospitality is/was unforgettable! The chickens were fun to watch as they followed us along the fence line as we walked by.

Enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere of the entire stay. We stayed just one night, but the thoughtful touches were very much appreciated. We built a fire in the fire pit with help from Kurt as my Girl Scout days are long past. Heidi and their beautiful daughters were friendly and busy following a graduation party just the night before. The grounds are perfect in the sense of natural beauty that are tended to for enjoyment. We took advantage of the country road and walked towards town to see the covered bridge. We weren’t disappointed. Our evening after the fire was spent playing a friendly game of Battleship and I now have the title of beating my husband for the first time ever. Thankful for the time away and for Kurt and Heidi. Lovely hosts who followed a path that helps many in the perfect way. Oh and those chickens! The fresh eggs! Worth every single moment.

We had such a great stay at Kathy’s cabin “old Phil”. There are plenty of clear trails to walk on and fishing off the pier was great. Even with the bit of rain we got our first night it didn’t put a damper on the trip. We definitely look forward to returning in the future!
