We bought this one acre property tucked in the corner of the woods a little more than 2 years ago from the family who built it and lived here for 69 years. It was all original since 1946! The dairy and the farmland around us has been family-owned for over 100 years! Our little acre has become a sweet little hidden secret to all who visit. Quiet and beautiful, yet close to all the quaintness Fort Wayne has to offer. The sunrises are amazing! For nature lovers, there are so many different birds that frequent our trees, even an occasional Bald Eagle! We have renovated the tiny shed into an occasional repurpose shop and now are opening it up for a comfortable glamping spot! We continue to work on renovating our home to eventually welcome more guests. We feel like God saved this sweet spot just for us, so we can't help but share it with others! Just as cool as the pictures! Had a really nice weekend here, Tim really thought of everything for conveniences- the tent & amenities, bathroom, fire pit, seating, firewood. Would absolutely go again.

Our 2nd stay was fantastic like our first! This time it was a bit chilly at night. A efficient space heater was supplied. It kept the tent toasty! We also noticed a update to the fire pit! It worked fabulously for our camp cooking needs as well as enjoyable warm campfire nights. The fall leaves were beautiful and still provided a private camp experience. Love the attention to detail provided by Tim (host). Thankful for great hosts willing to share their property for hipcamp customers!

We absolutely loved our 1st glamping stay! All other glamping must live up to this! It will be a high bar. You can tell the host put their love for camping into every detail. Can't wait for our future planned stays! Privacy: Summer: Very private with large trees and green all around. Host: Tim was so responsive to all my messages before during and post stay. Tent: Clean, comfortable. Multiple outlets. I loved having the view of the sky in the tent. Slept very good! Bathroom: Clean, hot water, good water pressure. It's a working bathroom in the middle of a private camp! Outdoor site: All mulch easy to keep clean. Effective fire pit and cook surface. Plenty of dry wood for use. Loved the hammocks available to hang. Nicely lit for easy use. Multiple electric outlets. 2 pie makers, and grill basket. Must bring: Towels Sheets Pillows Blankets Cookware Bathroom supplies Dish soap Location : Private, not much to do close by. That's a positive to me. We did enjoy a 20 min drive to bike the rivergreen way and enjoy some fantastic BBQ at Soul Pig. Just book it you won't be disappointed!

Weekend Trip to The Firefly Nest

Looked exactly like the pictures…the lights were on when we arrived as it was already dark and lit up. The directions were clear and the site was easy to find. Every detail was taken into careful consideration. Bug spray, hammocks, seating, nightstands, a/c (which we didn’t need!) it was super cute and cozy! Loved having a fully functional bathroom. We will definitely return if we are ever back in the area. Thank you! Oh, and we absolutely loved the Firefly Coffee Shop. We chose it to stick with the theme of the Hipcamp. Highly recommend!

Weekend Trip to Country Bungalow

Dean and Nancy have created a truly magical little space! We travelled almost two hours to spend the night there, and go to the dairy, which is about 20 seconds away! The tiny shed exceeded our expectations in every way, as the vibe was amazingly cozy and warm. Christmas decor was so beautiful and we loved looking at all the little details around the space. She is an amazing baker, to boot! Fresh cookies, coffee, creamer, and waters awaited us. We will for sure be back!
