We bought this one acre property tucked in the corner of the woods a little more than 2 years ago from the family who built it and lived here for 69 years. It was all original since 1946! The dairy and the farmland around us has been family-owned for over 100 years! Our little acre has become a sweet little hidden secret to all who visit. Quiet and beautiful, yet close to all the quaintness Fort Wayne has to offer. The sunrises are amazing! For nature lovers, there are so many different birds that frequent our trees, even an occasional Bald Eagle! We have renovated the tiny shed into an occasional repurpose shop and now are opening it up for a comfortable glamping spot! We continue to work on renovating our home to eventually welcome more guests. We feel like God saved this sweet spot just for us, so we can't help but share it with others! We hope all who stay, feel the same!

The cabin was perfect and better than we remember when we stayed last year! Titus was kind enough to start the fire for us since we were arriving late. Very comfortable stay for us and our cats. You get an incredible view of the stars when it’s a clear night and the sound of the water trickling in the pond was soothing.

Amazing spot and atmosphere. Host was awesome and I felt welcomed. Drove almost 4 hours to reach the location and it was 100% worth the ride. They have an amazing set up. The cabin had everything you needed to spend a comfortable evening.

We stayed in the cabin and it was well supplied and they really thought of everything. It was a nice break from our normal tent camping. They even had hand washing stations and the shower was nice after a long weekend of hiking. The kids loved the pond and wanted to stay there most the time. Definitely would go back if we are in the area! Thanks for the awesome stay!

This is a cozy little log cabin next to the sweetest little pond you’ve ever seen! Titus was great at communicating online as well as in person. He made notes and signs that helped take the guesswork out of many things. It was super helpful. I love that firewood was provided and cut into manageable pieces. This place was very peaceful and just what I needed!

I loved it all! Absolutely beautiful location! We all had such a great time relaxing, fishing, adventuring down the trail, sitting by the campfire, and just being able to enjoying the peace and tranquility of country living.
The hosts were friendly, informative, and accommodating, as well respectful. The cabin offered just about anything you could think of that you'd need for a comfortable stay. They had little notes of instructions written all around the property to help point you in the right direction or to show you how different things work around the camp site. My dog was in complete heaven basking in the sun and swimming in the pond just to be free to roam as she may. We are definitely planning on returning to enjoy the cabin and the pond some time again real soon. We also plan on making a weekend reservation to stay in one of the shepherds huts before the season ends!

My Husband and I had a quick getaway to celebrate his birthday away from the kiddos. Honestly we loved it! Titus really pays attention to all details! We are so excited to take our girls back so they can experience the cute sheep and all the nature. We loved being in the midst of all of the Amish families that were surrounding Titus's families property! I can see this being a trip we make atleast once a year! So peaceful! Titus was a kind and welcoming host who bent over backwards to make sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I enjoyed our chats on a variety of topics. The cabin is cozy, with more amenities than expected (like a mini-fridge and toilet...I'm used to more primitive camping). Just sitting on the porch listening to the birds, trickle of the small pond, and occasional clip-clop of the occasional neighbor's horse and buggy, was so relaxing, Visited by a friendly cat, and the sheep are adorable. Would stay again.

This is not our first trip to Sheepy Acres and Fisherman's Wharf. Titus is beyond a fabulous host. The cabin, pond, and trails are amazing. We could not have planned better weather. As always, we left Titus' feeling refreshed, relaxed, and thinking of our next fabulous weekend there. Thank you!!

In all honesty, I wish I could write whatever would keep people away from here! I WANT THIS PLACE TO MYSELF!!!!
I'll just highlight...cause description dosen't do justice. Electric cabin, shower house w/indoor restroom now. Pond for swimming/fishing. Trails to walk. Peaceful. Views...fresh air!! Come explore!!
Every time we go (wife & dogs also) there's something different, or improved. This man makes me want to live off grid even more than I already do! Beautiful location.
If your looking to unplug/ relax/ breath... stop looking...and book!

What amazing experience! My wife and I went out there for an anniversary and had an amazing time! Swimming in the pond, roasting hot dogs, and just being in nature was great! Being able to have our dog off leash, what's an added bonus. He loved every minute of his stay. We will definitely be back!

We stayed at fisherman's wharf it was amazing!!!!! Such a peaceful fun spot. We enjoyed the privacy, fishing, and swimming. Great place to make some family memories. Thanks for sharing your space with us! Titus was amazing greeted us upon arrival explained where everything was and where to park. My son caught some nice catfish. Loved having showers and toilets. This was a perfect, quiet place to catch up on some rest. The cabin is absolutely primitive, no power, no water (there is a nice outhouse). It is also beautiful, well maintained, and super clean. The host is amazing too. They gave super clear directions and were incredibly sweet and thoughtful. I would 100% recommend!
