The Art Farm Women's Retreat

The Art Farm Women's Retreat is women owned.
We have a few dedicated women's campouts each year, and some art-making workshops, retreats, and quilting weekends, too.

The farm is 34 acres of rolling farmland, woods and pasture. We are surrounded by farmland on all sides.

Enjoy nature. Watch wildlife. Listen to the birds singing. You will often see deer in the evenings. 

Walk or drive to the main residence to enjoy the pool, hot tub and hot outdoor shower. (5 minute walk or 1 minute drive)

Enjoy walking trails around the farm.  Check out the 'Meditation Woods'.

Spring Lake Ranch

Spring Lake Ranch boasts countless trails and lake activities. Formerly known as Sayersbrook Bison ranch, at one time it was one of the largest Bison ranches in the world.
This property is filled with amazing things to see and explore. Nothing like it in Missouri. Lake is 60+ acres and is spring fed. Amazing fishing, swimming and kayaking. 

We are pet friendly. You will have amazing lake views and will be close to hiking trails, horseback riding, and wine tasting at Edge Cliff Wineries which is next door to us. 
The beautiful shower house is super clean, has restrooms and hot showers and it is within walking distance. Firewood and ice are available to purchase; kayaks and fishing poles are available for rent. If you forget something at home stop by our little country store, we might have it! :)

The sites are about 20 ft from each other - if you are looking for more privacy please check out the secluded site or the peninsula.

We are located just west of the Ironton Water Works Plant and the Shepherd Mountain Lake dam. Turn right after the dam, drive through Shepherd Mountain Lake Park, open the "campground guests only" gate if it is closed, and please close gate behind you. Thank you!

Places of Sanctuary

Places of Sanctuary has 30 Acres of woods which include several dedicated hiking trails with beautiful clearings and benches for resting and reflecting along the way. You're welcome to fish in the pond that has plenty of shade and sun, or sit around the bonfire site where we have benches provided and roast marshmallows. With two easy-access large tree houses, bench swings and a big picnic shelter, there's lots of room to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. You might encounter wildlife like: deer, mink, or geese, but you're sure to see our chickens and ducks running around! Depending on the time and season, we offer several hands on experiences with berry picking, chicken tending, food processing, gardening, and general light land maintenance like checking the trails for down limbs and trash.  With gorgeous views and the convenience of being just 10 minutes from University Southern Indiana or 15 minutes from restaurants and stores, we welcome you to camp with us. If you are interested in staying longer than 3 nights or your RV/camper is longer than 36 feet long, please message us to see if we can accommodate your visit. Usually we can!

Serenity Fields Farm

We are originally from Northern California. We are enjoying our expansive farm with all it's fresh air, fresh food, plants, animals, and fun events.  We enjoy time relaxing in hammocks and letting the world pass us by.  Bring your family out to enjoy all the farm has to offer, or take advantage of the serenity and privacy!Learn more about this land:Pitch your tent near the creek (site 1) in a completely private site (kids can sleep in the truck bed topper or fort if they'd like) or on the field to the side of the house (site 2) for a semi-private spot nearest to the bathroom and with a wood chip drive entrance for larger vehicles or (site 3) a semi- private spot down by the creek and the hay bales to the left of the house.  (Or pick a spot of your choosing).  Enjoy the farm animals, walk the property, build a fire, and enjoy the outdoors!There are more animals to pet from April through October (typically we have bunnies, chickens, sheep, cats, dogs, alpacas, miniature horses, horses, pig, goat, etc.).  In the winter the horses, alpacas, chickens, dogs, cats and sometimes bunnies are available to visit. Firewood bundles available for $8.00.  There is a state park (Ft. Daniel) less than 5 minutes away and others a bit further (Spitler or Sand Creek)Horseback riding may be available upon request - $25.00 per person or $50.00 per family. There is a large shaded playground in the front yard for the kids with a trampoline, small zip line, ninja line, slack line, silks, climbing dome, hammocks, etc. 

Four Creeks Campground

Three crystal clear creeks to swim, wade, hunt rocks, or just relax.  We have several tent sites right on the creeks and RV sites close for just a short walk for swimming fun.

Right on miles of ATV, OHV, SxSs or horse trails.  Close to the Black River and the Current for floating, Kayaking or fishing.  Clearwater Lake for boat rentals or Jet skies. Sites to see, Blue Springs, Big Springs Johnson Shut Inns, Elephant Rock, Rocky Falls, and many state parks to explore.

We are also only three miles from the town of Ellington, MO for your shopping needs, several restaurants and antiquing.

The Hidden Hill

Located 1.8 miles from Poplar Bluff city limits but off the main road just enough to be hidden.  Family friendly Bar and Grill in walking distance (actually you can almost throw a rock and hit it).  Sand volleyball pit onsite.  Fishing pond.  Wooded area behind the camping area to explore.  1/2 mile from Black River access at Hilliard.  5 acres which can accomodate 8 rv's.

they're divorced now but we still love them both!!!!
