This 20-acre location is close and private. 2 RV sites with full hookups and room for a tent at each site (maximum 6 campers per site per night, additional $10.00 per camper per night over 6). Our quiet property backs up to Idaho's pristine Farragut State Park, with fishing, swimming and boating, at Lake Pend Oreille only 6 minutes away! In the Fall, make this destination your hunting quarters. Close to state lands and plentiful elk and deer! For your safety and enjoyment, the maximum campers to one site are 6 (EXCEPTIONS UP TO 8 WITH ADDITONAL FEE). Additional persons will be an extra charge of $10.00 per person per night. One vehicle with RV/trailer per site. Each additional vehicle will be $10.00 per night. Quiet hours are 10p.m. to 8a.m. Porta potty service discontinued October 1 for the season. Park your RV, overland rig, pitch a tent, or sleep under the stars next to the Coeur D’ Alene River. Be advised this is directly next to State Highway 3. If you are a light sleeper, or road noise bothers you, this is not the campsite for you. At the camp, you can launch your kayaks at the river to go for an adventure down through the Chain Lakes, all eight are accessible by the river adjacent to where you will sleep. The bird and wildlife watching in this area is world class. Ospreys, hawks, turkeys and other animals commonly hang out in these parts. You can go for a swim at one of the sandbars, take your dirt bikes or side by sides down Killarney Lake Road to access an extensive network of trails and dirt roads into remote wilderness. There is no cell service, no water or electrical hookups, or toilet. As beautiful as it is, your experience will not be “glamping” unless you come with all the comforts you personally desire. You can hunt on the forest service land by 4th of July Pass, fish on the river, or on the Chain Lakes (with the proper permits, of course). There is a access into the water from camp but it is quite steep. For easy access to the water, use the docks or boat launch at Killarney Lake or Bull Run. Pets and kids are allowed at your own risk. The search is over! This is the ideal spot! Ron and Vicki were so kind, helpful and easy to communicate with. They met us as we arrived and even shared some of their homegrown garlic with us! This was our first experience using Hip Camp and I can’t imagine it getting any better than this. The location was easy access to Farragut State Park, Sandpoint, Coeur d’Alene and other smaller towns in the area. The campsite was spotless and extremely quiet and peaceful. There was even a porta potty nearby with a hand wash station. If you are in the area, I highly recommend booking your stay here and even adding on a couple days just to enjoy the peace of the campsite. Thank you again Ron and Vicki for providing such an amazing place!

Great spot! Isolated and close to water. Water is fine to swim in as I think most bodies of water in this area have the same warnings just maybe not as concentrated? Idk, my husband and I didn’t grow any extra limbs or anything crazy! Plan to come back again soon :)

We booked site B and our friends booked site A. There are no other sites on their 20 acre property so it felt like our own private campground. Ron and Vicki were welcoming and friendly and greeted us when we arrived to check us in and go over the campground rules. This is a lovely property, close to Sandpoint, Lake Pend Oreille (Farragut SP), and hiking. We rented a pontoon boat in Bayview which is a great way to see the lake. There is a very clean outhouse with sink in it next to the camp sites for those who may not have bathroom facilities in their RV or who are tenting. Each site has its own picnic table as well. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Ron and Vicki!

This is a fantastic site. The sites are large and level. It has a super clean porta-potty if you need. The hosts are incredibly friendly. This is a great location that is super convenient for Silverwood, CD’A, Sandpoint, and Farragut State Park. I highly recommend this site.
