Located at the base of Wolverine Canyon is our little slice of heaven called Wolverine Ranch. It is a 100 year old working cattle ranch. The Camp is located in the Headquarters Wolverine Ranch and we decided to name it Wolverine Adventures after a saying that Kelly and Robyn's family has. If something has to be done on the Ranch that is of a more difficult nature, we ask one another "What time is it? Adventure time!" This gets us through the more demanding tasks on the Ranch and allows us to have fun and humor through it all. As you pull through the Juniper log archway you will drive right through the corrals. Gates may be closed but are to contain cattle and horses, not to keep people out. Come on in and please close the gate behind you. Wolverine and Jones Creeks run through camp and we do allow catch and release fishing with an Idaho Fishing License of course. Camp is the perfect place to unwind after driving all day and unplug from the busy world outside of the gates. THERE IS NO CELL SERVICE AT CAMP!! You may get signal a short walk up a hill above camp. We do allow campfires but only in the community fire pit area. There is a hot water shower with 180 degree views of the Juniper covered hills while you wash the stress away. We do also have a flushing toilet and potable water right in camp. We do offer a few add on Adventures such as trail rides or Ranch tours. These will need to be discussed in advance of your arrival. Communication with Robyn is encouraged via HipCamp messaging as we often are out of service and need to know an approximate ETA. We prefer to meet every guest and help you get settled in, answer any questions, and apprise you of any information you will need to enjoy your stay. There is abundant wildlife that frequent The Camp, including White Tailed Deer, Mule Deer, Song Birds, Racoons, skunks, and snakes. We do allow pets, however they must be on leash and under control at all times, The Camp has resident chickens and cattle and horses are always nearby.

This property was used by the Shoshone Indian tribe as a summer camp area. Later after the pioneers came they set up a dance floor and had parties here. The dance floor has since overgrown. This property has also been the host to never dams. It has been in our family for many years and we have enjoyed it.Learn more about this land:The campsites are located in a wooded area so lots of shade. 2 sites are creek side along maple creek and the other has a small stream and a pond. All sites have a fire pit available. All sites are carry in carry out. Easily accessible with a four wheel drive. You will need to cross maple creek to reach site 1. The road down to the river bottoms is a bit steep so 4 wheel drive is recommended. This area is ideal for tent camping.

Very quiet and cute camp site that is very close to town. It was a nice quick getaway. There was plenty of room and the sounds of the creek were relaxing. Our only caveat was that we wish we had known the porta potty was only there until mid September.

We loved our one night stay on Ken’s land. It was peaceful and private and we loved the site. The hill to get over to campsite 4 was steep, but doable in an SUV. The porta potty is about a 5-minute walk up and over the small hill, but it was never crowded and was clean. On Sunday morning around 10am we witnessed the bizarre landslide of rocks from whatever they were dumping down the mountain. As other reviewers have said it is pretty strange and happens in decently close proximity to site 4. We just made sure to keep our dog away from that side of the site. We would definitely come back here! We loved it.

We were on site 2 for a night and it was nice! Right next to the creek, it was great to hear it at night. I’ll add to some other reviews about the hill going in and out- we had a Mazda 6 with fairly new tires and were able to get back up the hill alright, but it was still a little scary 😬 so just know that if you don’t have 4 wheel drive and it happens to rain or your tires are bad, it may not be worth the risk!

Beautiful piece of land. This is my families second time here and we love it. We were there on Labor Day weekend and even with all four sites being booked we barely heard or saw any of the others. If you are looking for a place to just disconnect you can’t go wrong picking this place. Ken is a great host and very responsive.

This was a really great private site. The owners wetr lind enough to lead me down to the area. The access road is steep and rocky but fun to drive on. It would be best to have 4wd and this site you cross a creek. The entry is across from the green house at 4514 where the big rock mound is. The toilet was clean too just down a bit next to sites 2 and 3. I enjoyed my stay and had a nice fire. My lab enjoyed being off leash a bit while we were in the site area.

Great location, mostly secluded. We love how safe and blocked off this area is because we don't worry about our kids playing out of arms reach. Of course we watched them by the creek but the large camp area has plenty of space for them to explore within eyesight. There were other campers there this time (we camped here last year in the fall and it was completely empty) and they didn't obey the quiet hours rule (10 pm) which made it kind of hard getting our kiddos to sleep until almost midnight every night once the music stopped but that wasn't a trip ruin-er for us. We still enjoy our time playing in the creek, hanging out by the fire, and listening to the crickets and awesome nature sounds that we could hear all day and most of the night. We appreciated the porta-potty as well. Will definitely return!

We had a great time camping here! Just a quick overnighter on our way to Blackfoot. We definitely missed the sign to campsite #4 so we ended up driving to the wrong spot at first. Campsite #4 is your first right once you go down the hill off the main road. I’ll echo what’s been said by others that the dirt roads are steep but manageable in an AWD crossover/SUV. Our campsite and bathroom (chemical toilet) were both clean. Be prepared for bugs but they weren’t as bad once we started the fire.

Ken was very responsive and answered questions quickly. He allowed us to fill our water jugs on his property. The port a potty was very clean. The site wasn’t marked out very well but he came out and showed us where it was. Our cars got pretty scratched up driving in and out but it’s camping, so… We had a good time and felt very safe and tucked away.

They were very friendly and helpful! Plenty of room far away from everyone else. The toilet and shower was nice. We stayed right next to the creek. The animals were very friendly and didn’t have any trouble with them making too much noise. Overall great place!
