Garden & Fruit From July to October, guests may enjoy cherries, raspberries, apricots, peaches, plums, pears, and apples—depending on weather and timing. Just ask before picking, as not all fruit may be ripe or reachable. RV Site Options - Site 1: Full hookup with 50amp (30amp converter available) and water. - Site 2: Covered RV Bay with 30amp and water—fits big rigs and slide-outs. All sites are back-in only—please plan accordingly. Utilities - $35/night covers water, power, trash, and access to a shared half-bath. - No generators allowed out of courtesy for all guests. The property has so much history. Larry purchased the 16 acres in 1978 as nothing but a field. His dream was to raise Arabian Horses, so that is what the property was set up to do and he did just that, very successfully. We did convert a few acres into a Market Garden a few years ago and started Kraay's Market Garden, you can find us online. We would love to share our place with you!

The River Lodge Resort property is just under 4 acres on the river with 200 feet of river frontage. There is a dock for guest use and a shallow area with stairs to it for wading and kayak/Paddleboard launch. There are lifejackets, towels, chairs and tables in the small barn by the river for guest use. Lots of pine trees for tent camping and plenty of gravel area for RV parking. There are two private homes on the property as well (owners and guest house). Learn more about this land: Riverside camping has 200 feet of river frontage. You can camp away from the river’s edge & enjoy playing in river some terrain is sloped. Loose gravel RV parking also available. There is one outdoor, half bathroom (no shower). We have a dock available for guest use. We have three kayaks and two paddle boards available for guest use as well as lifejackets. No lifeguard on duty! There is a designated fire pit by the river. Sunsets are beautiful and mornings are peaceful, afternoons sound like a little bit of a party with all the boats on the water. You definitely get the feeling you’re on vacation here. Close to City of Rocks, mountainous bike trails, side-by-side riding, hiking, snowshoeing, skiing, golf course just across the river and plenty of water sports. No boat launch on property.

The views are breathtaking with amazing sunrise/sunset. The grounds are well maintained and the porta potty was clean. Fire pit and bench/love seats were available on site, but I'd bring a foldable table, and chairs if more than 2 people. A bit of background noise from the main streets in the valley, but that quiets down at night. Expect some stock and wildlife noise throughout. We find out added to the charm, but if you are not comfortable hearing coyotes howl at night, and cows mooing in the morning, I'd bring a pair of earplugs. As others have noted, the "fruit/vegetable" garden was uncultivated during our stay, but the horses were still there across the road and trees from the camping space

We made a late reservation through Hipcamp. I messaged Arte and Alexandra and they were quick to respond. They answered all my many questions promptly. We tent camped in their driveway while 2 other rv campers were close by on the same property. The farming next to the property was very loud the next morning…early. I had no problem with the owners or property. I felt safe and comfortable. They have a small orchard on the property with the best green apples!! I would camp there again.

Sweet and simple. Beautiful sunset! Enjoyed to sounds of coyotes and sand hill cranes. Able to have a campfire in the grass pasture and porta-potti was clean! Those are my priorities! Unfortunately, the acreage is no longer a flower or vegetable source, but still the horses…..
