In the early 1900's three sheep ranchers--August Broderson, James Fisher, and Isaac Leighton--each purchased residential lots in Weiser and built brick homes designed by Idaho architect H. W. Bond. This property, which we named Butterfield Farms, was built in 1915 by August Broderson, who emigrated from Germany to the US in 1892. The Broderson family lived here for decades and were a prominent family in Weiser history. Learn more about this land:The campsite is located on our small family-run farm in Weiser, ID. Our 2 1/2 acre historic farm is located in the heart of town, so you have the best of both worlds: easy access to town amenities, and a restful retreat in nature at the end of the day. Weiser is known world-wide for its annual fiddle festival in June! Our campsite is within walking or biking distance of all of the Fiddle Week activities. Catherine is a very Fine Host. And her place is accommodating and roomy. She also has a water hose that's long enough to reach your Trailer. Which was nice. Although not level, experienced RV'ers,(unlike me) can remedy that. It's close to the street, which doesn't bother me a lot.(LA Traffic) She has a Beautiful Place. And was very close to where I had something to do. Thank You.

Our stay was wonderful. The orchard was filled with fresh fruit , that was absolutely delicious..
Terri and her husband were awesome . We even got to enjoy a great bottle of wine that Terri offered up. The property was very well kept. Even though the tent site was close to the county road we still felt safe and comfortable. We even got a helpful hand from the resident dog to set up our tent. Highly recommend Terri-land . Look forward to staying there again.

The location is set back in a lot behind the home. Its safe and secure with power and water. Nearby is a great firepit area (we didn't use as it was 95 degrees) and a gentle sheep named Tilly. Fun, quirky and comfortable! Really enjoyed our stay!

We discovered this spot last summer and it was a no-brainer to schedule again for this summer's road trip. The entire family is friendly and welcoming. The property has lots of charm. If your children can't live without wi-fi (like mine) then you are covered. My children were even enticed away from their screens long enough to enjoy the glorious view of the starry night sky. For a great diner breakfast experience, check out Joe Momma's, which is not too far away in Eagle, ID.

Terri and family were very welcoming and we loved her sweet, adorable, and very friendly dogs. Hosts let us borrow an electrical adapter that we didn’t have on hand. Great stay! Thank you!

Beautiful home & property. How was very welcoming and caring. The night was going to be cold and we have a tent and some sleeping bags but the host encouraged us to stay in her green house for warmth. That was a heartfelt gesture, we appreciated it so much. Would definitely recommend! Enough space for multiple sights and comfort.

Parking is in a dirt backyard next to a cornfield, which I thought was neat. It looks like they were in the process of planting new trees to add shade.
There is a large common grass area with a fire pit that can be shared with other campers. They have a bathroom in a shed. That may sound off-putting, but it was very clean, nice, and unique!! Also, without hook-ups, it was convenient to have a bathroom on site.
We were in the area to visit friends so we didn't spend a lot of time at the site during the day. It was quiet and peaceful at night. Kimberly made sure to call and check in on us after we arrived. She was super friendly.

No issues whatsoever camping here. Easy to find, easy access to a bathroom, easy communication with host, and nice and quiet at night. All in all, a great experience.
