Welcome to Brasil Beef high desert pasture 🏜️ 🌵

Our property is&nbsp;4 miles from BLM, 5 miles from the Mammoth caves and 10 miles from the Ice Caves. You may be greeted by horses, cattle or dogs on our property,&nbsp;and it's&nbsp;quite possible that you will encounter snakes 🐍 and hear coyotes at night (light sleepers take this into account).&nbsp;We do not have designated areas but, please don’t block the turn around area to the far south, please park wherever you desire, walk your route as this virgin ground has many rocks. 🪨 If leveling is an issue & you need to block the road, let’s verify we have no other campers coming. 

There is a runoff river that runs through the property in the early spring but, rarely has water, however, it has amazing lava rock (similar to Black Magic Canyon which isn’t far away); We also like to use it for campfires! Do not drive into the river bottom unless you have 4WD.

We raise Wagyu beef & offer liver dog treats, sourdough bread, we often have dozens of eggs on hand from a local chicken farmer and I make tallow lotion with a dear friend! 🚌-40ft+ Class A motorhome, traveling East down the 520N you need to turn left on the gravel road (North 250E) and right on 670N-at the stop sign turn right on 3 mile rd E and it will connect you to 520N where you will turn left into the property as the gate is angled to enter this way.

Park anywhere to the west of bordering fence. 

Brittney offers horse rides around the property. This was a nice addition especially for our little one who loves horses. Brittney was very responsive when we messaged her. 

There are a couple trees on the lot that can be used for a little shade. But this is a desert, be prepared. 

A dry creek bed nearby. Across the way is a nice canal to swim at. You can ask Brittney for directions and a nice quiet swim. 

Bring boots for the dogs, the desert ground is not always friendly.

Fall asleep to the sound of a rushing creek in this charming and secluded yurt. 

Enjoy outdoor dining next to a seasonal waterfall, and watch butterflies and hummingbirds in our wildflower garden during the summer. 

Winter guests will experience a cozy fire in the pellet stove, and our year-round creek.

If our chickens are feeling generous, you may find some farm fresh eggs waiting for you in the kitchen, and there will always be a complimentary bar of handmade soap in the bathroom.

City of Rocks Retreat sites 8,9,10

The Retreat Juniper Tent/Van sites sit at the base of Green's Mountain nestled among the Junipers and Pinion pines. You will stay just outside the entrance to the City of Rocks National Reserve off the road that connects it to Castle Rocks State Park.

Enjoy all the fun of camping under the stars with an amazing secluded location at the entrance to the City of Rocks. Enjoy Rock Climbing, Bouldering,&nbsp;Hiking, Biking, Fishing, and Hot Springs, all within a&nbsp;5 minute drive! The Park is full all summer but you will have your own quiet base camp 2 minutes away. &nbsp;Sit around the fire pit at night and gaze at the amazing star filled sky. Sites 8, 9, and 10 are all in the same private forested area and great for groups but still separated for plenty of privacy. 

Each site has a level tent pad, parking area for a car or van (car/van camping ok), and access to potable water, bathrooms, and garbage. We have now added a 15amp plug to each site to provide power for things like phone and laptop charging, air pump, medical devices, or other basics at no charge. Camper vans, or other vehicles that want to plug in to the power will need to pay an additional $5/day electric fee. No EV charging. Parking is allowed right at camp but no vehicles bigger than a van (20ft), and no trailers. No mosquitos here! PET FRIENDLY!

This land has been in our family over 100 years. The Retreat has the closest campsites to the City of Rocks.

Our rates are a fraction of what local RV parks charge, and we offer great value with real country charm. This is our home, not a commercial campground—so while we take pride in our space, we keep it simple and genuine.

What to Expect
- Country landscaping with native plants and pollinator-friendly “weeds.” Goathead stickers are common in rural Idaho.
- Shaded areas, open skies, and seasonal views of horses grazing.
- Yardwork happens around our schedules and between guests.

Garden & Fruit
From July to October, guests may enjoy cherries, raspberries, apricots, peaches, plums, pears, and apples—depending on weather and timing. Just ask before picking, as not all fruit may be ripe or reachable.

RV Site Options
- Site 1: Full hookup with 50amp (30amp converter available) and water.
- Site 2: Covered RV Bay with 30amp and water—fits big rigs and slide-outs.
All sites are back-in only—please plan accordingly.

Utilities
- $35/night covers water, power, trash, and access to a shared half-bath.
- No generators allowed out of courtesy for all guests.

Pets
Well-mannered dogs and horses welcome. The property isn’t fenced—please leash or supervise your dog. Our friendly pups may greet you, but we’re happy to keep them in if needed.

Shared Bathroom
A clean half-bathroom is located in our workshop. It’s optional and may be in use while we work nearby.

Oakley is a Great town to visit. Oakley features Victorian style houses built in the 1800s which are very amazing to look at. There’s also a great new swimming pool and park to visit with a playground. We are also located 15 minutes away from the world famous City of Rocks National Park and Castle Rocks National Park. We have beautiful sunsets almost every night. We also are 10 minutes away from the Oakley Reservoir which has great fishing and kayaking there’s plenty of mountain roads to adventure on and see wildlife.

This is a private piece of property located just a few minutes from the 1000 Springs area known for its crystal clear waters and natural hot springs. Come play in the area and camp on your own private acreage at night. We have 3 designated tent/truck or car campsites at the moment. NO RV's. Hagerman / Buhl / 1000 Springs Area. Tired of large commercial campgrounds?  We understand. Camp with privacy and space. On6acres is a lost piece of private ground in the Snake River Canyon only 10 minutes from boat launches and hot spring baths in the Thousand Springs area. A 6.5 acre sloping desert with canyon views, ponds, native plants and trees. Including turkeys, deer, eagles, hawks, fish, rabbits, lizards, otters,&nbsp;and many other wild animals.   

**This is a natural, untouched, raw property. ******Please set your expectations correctly. Right now the experience is much closer to actual camping experience rather than a commercial campground but with the benefit of only being 10 minutes from the river in one direction and 10 minutes from town in the other direction.&nbsp;Come stargaze with very little light pollution and enjoy the quiet nature around.&nbsp;There are no amenities other than 3 designated/private spaces to pitch a tent or pick-up/van campers and a professionally maintained outhouse.  Respect the property, and the wildlife and ecosystem it supports.&nbsp;We are happy to share the space while we continue to grow and develop this awesome piece of ground.

Great fishing, swimming, and relaxing! The campsite is nestled among a group of mature trees on the bend of the creek—a perfect spot to camp away from the hustle and bustle of a busy campground. BLM access is close by for hiking, biking, or riding. We provide a fire ring and plenty of firewood.

Please note, there is no bathroom access. Self-contained campers only.

The Hess Hobby Farm

Absolutely nothing fancy but it’s quiet and out in the country. Enjoy the quiet country setting with animals to pet and birds to listen to, sometimes an occasional tractor, lol. 

I have 2 rv spots with water and electrical hookup. I’m sorry no sewer. Longer than a couple days?-there are options.

Minidoka  County Fairgrounds:  The fairgrounds are located East of Rupert encompassing an area of approximately sixty-five acres.  The grounds includes a rodeo arena, display buildings (antique building, a commercial building, 4-H building), and open air pavilion for livestock shows, family reunions, and other community events.  Hidden behind the main grounds is our small and quaint campground in a groomed grassy field. with a spectacular view of Mount Harrison. Our Amps are 30 amp. We suggest you have your own drinking water. There are signs saying nonpotable for your safety. There is not direct access to fairgrounds bathrooms. We are perfect for an RV set up or a tent camper that is a bit more experienced. 

The Minidoka County Fair held the first week in August and includes a full week of events including entertainment, open class exhibits, food, rodeo,  4-H and FFA livestock shows. Numerous events are held at the fairgrounds throughout the year including Moto-X races, rodeos,  auctions, 4-H events. weddings, horseshows, family reunions, and more. Note-Dates have been blocked for these events. We are fortunate to have this multi-purpose facility for use in our community.

City of Rocks RV

City of Rocks RV, in Almo, Idaho offers wide open mountain views at the entrance to the City of Rocks National Reserve. We provide partial hookups (water and electric 20/30/50), "Big Rig" pull-thru sites, Pioneer Bathrooms (rustic outhouse), and the beauty and seclusion of the Silent City of Rocks and the Almo Valley. We now have free wifi. Seasonal heated outdoor shower is free to guests May-October. We also have tent sites available. Enjoy our new enclosed, leash free, dog play area. We are conveniently located just outside the entrance to the Park on the City of Rocks Road. Big Rig access has always been limited in the City of Rocks so we made every site large with pull thru access. Public RV dump station is only 1 mile away. Whether you are here to climb, camp, hike, snowshoe, bird, fish, hunt, stargaze, relax, or all the above, we offer the ideal base-camp. We hope to see you soon!

Hagerman Homebase

Start your Hagerman adventure at our Hagerman Homebase!  Approximately 0.08 acres of private ground with shade trees and a water hook up and close to everything!  Bring your trailers or tents and enjoy all Hagerman, Idaho has to offer!  Site can accommodate multiple trailers, it does have two RV power hookups equipped with both 30 and 50 amp breakers, but to use both hookups you must pay for the two sites available.  There is only once hydrant with city water, with a splitter so it accommodates both RV spots. 

Location is about 0.8 miles from the center of town where you can enjoy multiple restaurants, shops, coffee shop, wine tasting, bars and the grocery store.

City of Rocks Camp & Climb

City of Rocks Camp and Climb offers big spaces located off the main highway across the street from the City of Rocks National Reserve Headquarters. We are centrally located between the City of Rocks National Reserve and Castle Rocks State Park.  We offer back in partial hook-up (power (20/30/50) and water) spots, pull through dry camp spots and tent spots.  We have two self- contained toilets and showers and free Wi-Fi. Public RV dump station is only 1 mile away. Whether you are here to climb, camp, hike, snowshoe, bird, fish, hunt, stargaze, relax, or all the above, we offer the ideal base-camp. We are continuously working on landscaping improvements to make your future stays even better.

Just a mile up the road are the fish ponds, a great place to explore and get the catch of the day or head down to the Snake River for more water related opportunities. There are nice parks nearby and great opportunities for hiking, horseback riding, ATV and dirt biking, biking and running trails, boating, kayaking, rock climbing, skiing or snow boarding. There is excellent outdoor recreation any season of the year. The great Snake River canyon is 2 miles away with nearby Nationally Recognized Shoshone Falls, the Niagra of the West, with a drop of nearly 500 feet.We truly live in an amazing part of the world! Nearly every day of the year you can watch the BASE jumpers from the Perrine bridge, one of the only legal places in the country. You name it, you can do it here. We're only a few hours from Yellowstone National Park and historic Sun Valley is 90 mins north or the famous City of Rocks rock climbing area can be found south of here.About 45 minutes to an hour north of here is Craters of the Moon National Monument for some excellent caving hiking and exploring.We use this area for storing vehicles or riding toys so please be respectful of our homes and the neighbors.
