Our property is 4 miles from BLM, 5 miles from the Mammoth caves and 10 miles from the Ice Caves. You may be greeted by horses, cattle or dogs on our property, and it's quite possible that you will encounter snakes 🐍 and hear coyotes at night (light sleepers take this into account). We do not have designated areas but, please don’t block the turn around area to the far south, please park wherever you desire, walk your route as this virgin ground has many rocks. 🪨 If leveling is an issue & you need to block the road, let’s verify we have no other campers coming.
There is a runoff river that runs through the property in the early spring but, rarely has water, however, it has amazing lava rock (similar to Black Magic Canyon which isn’t far away); We also like to use it for campfires! Do not drive into the river bottom unless you have 4WD.

If the perfect campsite exists, this is it. Overlooking the Snake River on a 200ft volcanic bluff, the sun rises over a waterfall to your left and sets over the river to your right. Stacy has done an amazing job with the property too, even building a trail that winds through the bluff. Ask him about the history of the area.
Last great perk, Box Canyon and Blue Heart Springs are only a 15 min drive from the campsite. Lovely time there, highly recommend.

What an amazing place right in the cliffs edge. The owners are so friendly and kind. They can let you know about anything you may want to go explore while there. They have put such care into this land and it honors the ancient tribes that once used that land. They have beautiful walkways with special finds along the way. The sunsets-sunrises are incredible. It's private and you are above all the waterfalls / springs that flow out to Ritter Island. Highly recommend this beautiful place.

Our fur kid was also happy with the space to run, and get in the river.

This is a great spot for good views and short walks on the property. It is a ridge that overlooks a beautiful river and waterfalls. The nearby park that you drive to is a great place to spend a day exploring the waterfalls, swimming, hiking. One warning is there may be smells from the dairy plant as this is a very large dairy farming community.
Host is exceptionally courteous, generous, and helpful. Keep your eye out for arrowheads!

I spent the night in my camper and it was AMAZING. The views, the biodiversity of birds, the sunset and the waterfalls made for a perfect reset on a long drive from Albuquerque. If you have time, this is a perfect location to access all the famous parks nearby. I only wish I had more time to explore here.

Beautiful site that sits in the back of a big open field. We loved how private and spacious it felt and our dog loved running around in the field. Super clean and well kept. There is a small airport close by and the planes can be loud, but it was infrequent enough and the space was so peaceful otherwise that it didn't bother us.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The area was peaceful and felt private. We saw plenty of wildlife including deer, fox, and elk. Brooke was very helpful and even let us know when we could spot elk in her field. The river was a favorite for both our dog and my husband who caught lots of fish. The site fit our 40' fifth wheel with no problems. A great spot that I would definitely come back to.
