We have a hidden exotic fruit orchard tucked away through rolling green hills, perched over the Hamakua cliffs, overlooking the pacific.
We sell our fruits ripe and cut ready to eat at our roadside fruit stand, open 11-6 daily including holidays! We serve local fresh juices and machete open coconuts to drink ice cold.
We grow mango, durian, lilikoi, star fruit, chocolate sapote, buddhas hand citrus, finger limes, tangerines and tangelos, jackfruit, tree grapes, mangosteen, white pineapples, mountain apples, berries, spices and much more. We are home to dozens of rescue animals, many who came from Puna during the 2018 lava flow. We have peaceful sheep, lambs, chickens, ducks, turkeys, geese and a lovable pet pig. Not to mention our friendly farm cats.
Our current camp sites are not in the fruit orchard, but in a rolling hills open pasture land near the fruit stand. It is rustic and pastoral.
We are a community of a few passionate farmers and fruit lovers. There’s a family- myself Rose, my partner Matthew and our daughter Mela, plus several awesome guys and girls who help out in different areas to grow our lives together!

I made a last minute reservation when I decided I was done driving for the day and found myself nearby. I was able to connect with Adam right away, and he patiently explained how to find them. They were right off the highway, a few minutes down a rough road that I suspect is pretty normal by Hawaii standards! I had peace and quiet for car camping. One house off in the distance, a little traffic noise from the road but it faded in the evening. It was just what I needed! Thanks so much.

The hosts are awesome. Amazing. The location has lots of beautiful places to hang out, and the proximity to amazing stuff like the green sand beach, black sand beach, and my favorite, the bakery. Lol. Go spend at least 2 days here to really enjoy it.

We had a wonderful stay at Green/Black Sand Pt. Hipcamp. The site is on the Belt Road and very convenient to local attractions. It has flush toilet and shower facilities as well as a covered patio. We were there during the recent Kona Low storm so the added amenities were very welcome. Robert and Nancy were wonderfully gracious hosts.

I was looking for a quiet spot to do Tai chi as the sun was rising then finish my book. This spot was perfect, with a georgeous view, permaculture vibe and a small pavilion to chill in. A nice breeze was blowing thru the evening and the sound of the cane grass and banana tree leaves is a memory ill carry for a long time.
I even came back a few nights later and used this as base camp before a great hike in the Kau desert which was on my hike list for a long time.
I highly recomend this spot for anyone looking for peice and quite.

We reserved a camping spot and arrived with almost no notice. Even though he was not there, Brian was very helpful when we contacted him by phone and managed to get us in and direct us to our camping (RV) spot. We was super informative about the farm and the region.

Robert was very communicative with directing us to the site and where to stay once we arrived and where amenities were located! We liked being on the property for the night and really loved having a nice, very clean bathroom and shower! We were the only ones on the property that evening but you might have neighbors close if there were multiple groups staying at one time! This spot was a great choice for us in this southern area of the island!

We spent one night on Bob’s beautiful property and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The place was very peaceful, we felt completely safe, and having a bathroom with a shower was a big plus.
Bob and his wife were wonderful hosts. They even picked a fresh orange for us from their tree and gave us so many great tips for our stay on the Big Island. Without Bob’s prediction, we probably would have missed the incredible volcano eruption.

Bob and Nancy were so friendly and helpful! They have a beautiful property with fruit trees, lush grass, and cute cats roaming around. Plenty of space to pitch a tent and great bathroom facilities we had access to! One of the neighboring properties was a little noisy (music, dogs, etc..) but it wouldn’t stop me from staying again.

It was the most beautiful, amazing property and they made us feel right at home immediately! They have many acres and places for you to park your vehicles or pop up your tents or both, they have a bathroom, a shower and a bath bathtub which is awesome! We just shower always at the beach because that’s the only thing we do is go out into the ocean on the side! I would highly recommend staying here. It’s beautiful and the most unexplainable way. I grew up homicide. I live HILO side for five years now, but this was undiscovered Land for us, and it was a true treasure to find!

We camped in our campervan and it was easy parking, quiet and level. Make sure you communicate with the camp before getting there as we didn’t have cell service once there and the starlink did not show up on our phones. Also make sure you screen shot the route or download your map app.

The hosts were quick to reach our and communicate with clear directions. The orchard was easy to find and access. There are beautiful horses and goats, and acres of lush macadamia and fruit orchards. Pahala is a very small town with no grocery stores or restaurants, so it would be best to stock up on supplies someplace like Kona or Hilo beforehand. We had a picnic in a giant treehouse, and a good night's sleep camped in our vehicle. We look forward to camping here again.
