We love it here! 10/10 would recommend over and over again. Patrick was very kind and helpful at every single point of our trip. The farm was a dream come true. We stayed in the cabin which was well maintained and also provided lots of privacy. The farm is tucked away but still conveniently located close to Haleiwa about 10-15 mins (no traffic). Cannot wait to plan another trip here with family and friends and excited to come back to share this special place with all the people we love!

Perfect campsite, great location close to Kailua. Some mosquitoes, but not too bad. Very clean, spacious, and organized tent. Great bathroom and shower.

This place is a paradise! Beautifully located, peaceful and quite, but further most green and picturesque family owned farm that can offer you sb unforgettable glamping experience. We stayed there 3 nights with our camper, and wet loved it! Every day the farm manager was greeting us with fresh papayas and passionfruits straight from the trees, and fresh eggs from free range hens. We enjoyed the pool as well! But the best is the outdoor shower in the banana forest 🤩😍 Simply loved it!

Weekend Trip to Peaceful Tiny Home North Shore

I have no complaints! The house was cute, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was perfect, with great views from the house and just a short drive to hiking trails, the beach, and Haleʻiwa town. Thank you!

Chiarina gave us excellent instructions! We were able to get to the area without any problems. Luckily we were the only campers there which was awesome! The place was very clean and quiet. The shared kitchen area was awesome! We used the small grill and were so happy that there was a kitchen sink and prep area that was well lit with solar lights that came on when it got dark. The picnic tables are a great space to eat and just hangout. We also loved using the fire pit for smores. Although everything was great, the best part was the on demand rain fall shower! It's always nice to have a hot shower after a fun day of adventures! We definitely recommend this place!

Me and my daughter felt super safe and it was an amazing place to stay at. The view is beautiful and the place is taken good care of. The shower was nice and hot, the mini fridge and stove were clean, and everything was overall clean and organized for us. Great place to stay and will be coming back in the future.

Had a great stay. Just enough off the grid to feel like you’re out there, but still very close to town. Maria was very helpful and made the whole process easy. Clean, great outdoor shower, and the deck made for amazing night time views. Definitely recommend!

Weekend Trip to Zen Oaezis in Sacred Valley

Beautiful views of lush green mountains and a really nice big picnic table. Site 5 (Zpring) is right next to showers and a sink which is super convenient. (You have to walk to get to the bathrooms.) Showers are cold but it feels good in the hot sun. Sites are well spaced apart. I really liked the nature feel. (FYI: no fires allowed.). Would reccommend!

Wonderful Host and incredible site! We loved waking up each day and eating fresh papayas by the pool! Our favorite part was the outdoor shower set up with bananas hanging into it. Everything is so well thought out and it’s very clearly created with so much love. The cabin itself was cozy and clean. Staying here was our favorite part of the trip.

We enjoyed the serenity, simplicity, and beauty of this peaceful place. Highlights include the early morning bird song chorus (including but not limited to roosters), the outdoor shower, the snail friends(please watch where you walk at night!), exploring the orchard, the mountain finally peeking out from under the clouds, being close to Waimanolo beach, the cribbage board, plenty of off grid solar powered electricity and battery storage to use my cpap.

We had such a wonderful stay at Living Farm! Jenny, Nathan, and Patrick were incredibly welcoming, generous, and kind — truly thoughtful hosts who made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The campsite itself is shaded, cosy, and full of charm. It’s such a peaceful spot, surrounded by nature, and we especially loved the idyllic outdoor shower under banana trees and the beautiful, thoughtfully designed compost bathroom. The pool was a refreshing treat, the kids were nonstop on the slide and getting to pick and enjoy fresh fruit straight from the farm was an absolute delight. Every little detail made our stay special, and we left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and grateful. Lastly Minnie the puppy — Elsie is obsessed with her and will find it hard to say goodbye Thank you for sharing your magical space with us!

What a sweet little place! It had everything we needed and it was a perfect place to spend the night.

2 nights at Maleka Farm: Camper-van & Tent

The camping space was wonderful, amenities exactly as described. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained with ample supplies. There is no potable water from taps, but there was a water filter on-site that had hot or cold water. The camping space had a picnic table and plenty of space to pull in or turn around a vehicle. The 3 camping spaces are a bit close to the permanent tents, but I did not feel crowded at any point. There were some bugs (you are camping after all) but it was very minimal and bug spray kept them away from me. The video directions to the farm helped a lot, but some things in the video (like the porta-potties or the truck trailer) were not on the land when I stayed so I took a wrong turn when locating the camp the first time. I found my way quickly enough though. The farm is technically not on the North Shore, but only a 15-20 minute drive from many amazing beaches and restaurants. I met some other people staying on the farm and everyone was friendly and welcoming. Overall I recommend camping in this space!

This is a breathtaking space that our family has poured many decades and multiple generations into. We are surrounded by jungle, with a freshwater stream running through the entire property and unobstructed mountain views. If you’re especially sensitive to mosquitos, bugs, geckos, free roaming chickens or other elements to be expected in nature, this might not be the place for you. Waimanalo is a small agricultural town filled with nurseries, horse stables, and a high concentration of Hawaiian homes. It remains mostly undeveloped and authentic, and we aim to keep it that way. Outsiders do not often get the opportunity to stay back here, but we welcome respectful travelers looking for an authentic experience who can appreciate this privilege. While nestled against the mountains, we're just a five minute drive from the beach. We are fifteen minutes from Kailua town, where you'll find several grocery stores, shops, and restaurants. This is a working farm. While we are very hospitable, we are not in the business of hospitality. I am happy to accommodate travelers, but I am not here at your beck and call. If that is the experience you are seeking, I think you would be happier elsewhere. We appreciate all of your bookings, and profits go directly back into farm infrastructure and new fruit trees. We are at the top of a hill in a secluded and secure Homestead farm overlooking Kane`ohe Bay and Mokapu (and the Marine Corps Base) as well as the Pali (cliffs). We are nestled, essentially in a jungle, in the Ko`olau mountain range. We have ocean access from the property (by crossing the road) although there are better and easier places to get in the water (such as Ka`a`awa and Ku`aloa Beach Park). We generally see the stars and the sun and moon rise. We also see the colors of the Bay change with the tides, clouds, wind, light. We are focused on education about Hawai`i, being kind to animals (and all life, including humans), and we are privileged to be able to share our aloha as well as farm bounty. We grow chili peppers, ulu (breadfruit), kalo (taro), noni, vegetables, bananas, olena (turmeric), ginger, etc. Not pictured is the common kitchen area. We have access to Reiki, massage, and other types of services. We have kayaks, surfboards, general snorkel and beach gear, SUPs, and connections to local businesses for other opportunities (e.g., horseback riding, sailing, rowing, etc.). There are surfing, kayaking, swimming, snorkeling, scuba, horseback riding, and hiking options nearby. We are also conveniently near a mall and many great places to eat. It is also lovely to hang out here at the farm and enjoy the peace, away from concrete and traffic congestion. There are places to explore and a steep climb one can hike to get to the edge of the property where there are many and even more spectacular views. We are a real homestead and aspiring organic farm focused on Hawaiian Heritage plants and a Sanctuary for animals. We have many Native Hawaiian plants, superfoods, and culturally important plants.
