We are surrounded by jungle, with a freshwater stream running through the entire property and unobstructed mountain views. If you’re especially sensitive to mosquitos, bugs, geckos, free roaming chickens or other elements to be expected in nature, this might not be the place for you. Waimanalo is a small agricultural town filled with nurseries, horse stables, and a high concentration of Hawaiian homes. It remains mostly undeveloped and authentic, and we aim to keep it that way. Outsiders do not often get the opportunity to stay back here, but we welcome respectful travelers looking for an authentic experience who can appreciate this privilege. While nestled against the mountains, we're just a five minute drive from the beach. We are fifteen minutes from Kailua town, where you'll find several grocery stores, shops, and restaurants. This is a working farm. While we are very hospitable, we are not in the business of hospitality. I am happy to accommodate travelers, but I am not here at your beck and call. If that is the experience you are seeking, I think you would be happier elsewhere. We appreciate all of your bookings, and profits go directly back into farm infrastructure and new fruit trees. It was such a nice experience staying at the yurt! We were a bit afraid of the cold showers and air mattresses beforehand but this was not a problem at all. The surroundings are so beautiful and it is a very special place to stay. I would definitely recommend staying here :)

Very cool farm with fresh produce, goats, and chickens. Volunteers were kind and knowledgeable, and it was wonderful being amongst all the trees. Other campers were respectful as well, and there's a farmer's market nearby on Tuesdays! Will happily return.

The Farm had everything to enjoy Hawaii. It is definitely camping. I would not call this glamping as you do have crows throughout the night lol still enjoyable still fun. Def bring earplugs. Use the prettier shower as the water def stayed warmer way longer. I didn’t get to interact as much as I thought I would with other visitors. Also I traveled alone and felt very safe and I think that’s more than you can ask for.

Weekend Trip to Waimanalo Farmstay
What fantastic hosts at the most peaceful local farm that we enjoyed to the utmost. We we attending an event in Waimanalo & though enjoyed the event wished we could have stayed at the our tent camp the entire time. The unit had all the amenities we needed & more. The deluxe tent with the most amazing comfortable bed, well placed lighting & cozy comfort. We slept so well, we ordered the same bed. Thank you so much Dave & Lex for everything. A wonderful spot that we'll return to someday soon!

What an extraordinary place—so peaceful and serene that we didn’t want to leave. It felt like our first deep breath since arriving, a true moment of calm. The yurt’s bed was heavenly, and the shower was the cherry on top. We only wish our stay could have lasted longer. A truly magical oasis.

We loved camping in the pick and play cabin, It was nice and tidy, convenient parking place just in front of the cabin. The guests Christian and Jenny were super friendly, they welcomed us to pick fruits from the garden and we also could cook a steak on their grill ! The only downside was the noise from the road passing nearby, which was annoying during the night.

The cozy cabin truly was cozy. It’s a very nice caravan with kitchen and shower and toilet inside. There’s also another hotplate outside you can use. The van is set on a property behind a locked gate and leads up to a lovely beach. There’s a nice shaded area with chairs set up on the beach. We used this as a cheaper base to see the south of Oahu. If you’ve got a car this is a great place to stay. The traffic around Pearl city is a killer but it was a short drive to ko’olina beach lagoons which were beautiful. Would definitely recommend

We really enjoyed our stay here. It felt like we were a world away. The farm was so beautiful and peaceful. Dave is a wonderful host, he is kind, friendly and easy to communicate with. You will feel the aloha spirit here. Bring some ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. You can hear everything around the farm, especially the numerous roosters that roam around the area and crow at odd hours of the morning. :) Definitely bring mosquito repellent as there are lots of mosquitos that hang out at this super cool place.

Beautiful farm, the yurts are situated right there among the coconut and banana trees. Inside the yurt and the common areas are nice and clean and everything is easy to find. Would 100% recommend the Sun Farm Tour, Elisa was very knowledgeable about all the plants around the farm, I was able to sample a lot of different fruits straight off the tree, and the vegan banana ice cream and fruit breakfast was phenomenal. Ask to try the noni juice, it's not good but it's worth trying once :)

This was such a cool stay! It doesn’t have the conveniences as the resorts, so 1 night made for a great adventure during our stay on the island (I could’ve stayed a few more though). My friend and I shared the bed while my husband slept on the cot (camping chair that’s horizontal), making it a little crammed (our fault, owners warned me several times during booking), but it would be PERFECT for 2. There was a manager that was super helpful, almost made it seem like a resort with how accommodating he was (making our fire, getting us extra towels, etc). I wanted this exact experience, I’m very happy I found this place. The grounds were beautiful and the dogs were great. Will definitely come back here next time we’re on the island!

We just loved our stay at Living Circles Farm and it was a fantastic way to settle into a different rhythm of living and slow down the pace abit. Kids were forever entertained by the dogs, exploring the farm and playing in the pool. The adults loved the sunsets and camp fires and all being together in the yurt at night. The yurt was super cosy and comfortable for our family of five (1 kid slept with us and the other 2 on trundle beds) and it has everything you need including a small fridge and sink. Christian was the manager and he made us feel so welcome and helped sort anything we needed during our stay. We would certainly come back and stay at the yurt if we ever come back to Hawaii.
