We are a small 50 acre ranch in the panhandle of Florida. Most of our property is pasture. Our mile-long driveway is lined with Oak Trees. We also have a few acres of Mayhaw trees in a seasonal pond. We raise Miniature Tennessee Fainting Goats to sell as family pets. We pasture a half dozen sheep for wool, live with several Peafowl for beauty and entertainment, and a couple dozen Guinee Fowl for pest control and more entertainment. A hundred and twenty-five chickens supply us with plenty of eggs. A dozen ducks offer up a few eggs a day as well. You can pet the goats and Baboy, our Potbellied pig. Walking in the pastures offers a glimpse at the local variety of flowers, birds, and insect life. Stay away from the dozen bee hives we watch over. This is a very quiet and welcoming place. We do have three Great Pyrenees gradian dogs roaming the property at night. They are mostly quiet but can occasionally spend a bit of the night barking and chasing predictors. Coyotes, foxes, and raccoons are better just off the property. Hang out, relax, read, and feed the goats. Monticello has some great restaurants, antique shops, a well-equipped sporting goods store, and a hardware store. If you are a cyclist, there are hundreds of miles of clay roads through the North Florida and South Georgia countryside. There are very few cars and lots of views. We have some routes to share. The clear-water spring-fed Wacissa River is nearby. Bring your own canoe or kayak, or rent one from one of the businesses at the head of the river. The Aucilla River is also nearby. It is quiet and was the perfect spot to be near family during the holiday. This is a simple, no bells and whistle campground. Spots were level and roomy. We did not know to request a fire pit but we were able to use one anyways- you can also bring your own. My boys loved the pond, and watching the small aircraft take off. We look forward to utilizing it more when we come down to visit family. My only suggestion would be hooks or a spare bench in bathhouse for belongings when showering etc.

Great little campground. No frills just the essentials you needed, water, sewer and electricity. Great 5G UW cell service. Only complaint is the idiot campers that have enough lights on outside to light up a half the campground all night long. Like trying to sleep under a street light. We do not not want to see your lights all night long. Other than that highly recommend the place.

This is really a wonderful spot! If you need a place to unwind, relax and heal this is the perfect spot for it! I spent 5 nights here by myself car camping in tent spot 1 and it really did wonders for my well being! It's so peaceful and quiet, nothing but fresh country breeze and some cows walking by once in a while I am so glad and grateful I found it. I really needed it. I wish I could've stayed longer! 💯🏕️

I really enjoyed my stay here. It was quiet and picturesque. The only problem i had was the site sloped from the middle down making the step down out of my RV little high, but I will definitely be back. I just have to remember my step next time.

I can't say enough good things about this spot. If you need a place to unwind, relax, heal, this is the place to be! I stayed here for 5 nights by myself car camping and wow am I glad and grateful I picked this spot! It helped me so much, it's so peaceful, fresh country air, I absolutely loved it. I wish I could stay longer but I have to get back to work💯🏕️

My tent site on Dover's land was easy to find and I felt safe. The bath house is very roomy with a big sink, clean shower and toilet, well placed hooks to hang towels and clothes and a big, comfortable bench. It was fun walking up to cows in the field and one very curious calf.
