For site number 3 (the one my wife and I stayed at) it was an easy back in to get our 45 toy hauler into the site. Sites 1 and 2 may have presented a challenge for our size rig but they are very spacious. All of the sites that is. Entry and exit of the park was easy and straight forward. We loved the close proximity to family in the area especially for our Thanksgiving stay. There was one limb that was touching the back corner of our roof and with a simple call to William, the issue was resolved quickly with a quick cut from his pole saw. We definitely plan to return to Deer Valley RV in the future. Thank you William!

Weekend Trip to Black Bear Plantation - Campsites

Robert exemplifies "southern hospitality." He greeted me shortly upon my arrival, explained the basics, and even showed me how to adjust the security lights at night if they disturbed my sleep, which they didn't. Campers are welcome to walk the grounds, which are in a quiet rural setting (even though the sites are next to the road, the vehicles are few and far between; traffic noise did not bother me). All in all, Black Bear is a lovely spot with all necessary amenities (except a bathroom/shower) and is in perfectworking order. I'd return.

This was a fantastic stop for us. It is easy to find, with clear directions and markings on where to go. Camp spots are large and private, and everything was very well taken care of.

Beautiful property! Enjoyed seeing the deer running around in the field behind the campsites! Very nice full hookup sites. Nice to have large firewood bundles available to purchase. We were on #3 for the weekend. There was a lot of traffic and road noise but we just ignored it. Would definitely stay there again!

2 nights at Black Bear Plantation - Campsites

Robert was the perfect host. Kind, helpful and respectful. The property is absolutely stunning and we enjoyed a long beautiful walk around. Unfortunately no bears were spotted but we did see a deer, some rabbits and fab birds if prey soaring overhead.

Weekend Trip to Deer Valley RV Park

We have stayed three times. It’s convenient Forrest in our travels. Bill is a great host, runs a clean simple operation. All the utilities are very new and are very reliable. Also has Wi-Fi available. A little bit of road noise which goes away in the evening.
