We are a working aquaponics farm, located in Marion Co Georgia. From maps it shows that we are about 13 miles straight line distance from Columbus Georgia. That would be true if you could drive through Fort Moore. You cannot so we are actually about 35 mins or 23 miles from Columbus. The drive is pleasant with very little traffic.
Our campsite sits beyond the gate in front of our small farm/general store. There are rustic bathrooms with hot water, free WiFi and plenty to do! We encourage you to hike, bike, and explore. ** We are in rattlesnake and copperhead season. (SEP - OCT) Please be mindful hiking on warms days and evenings towards dusk. **
The store is not open at this time, and the Greenhouse is available by request.
Deer, coyotes, wild hogs, and other creatures roam freely. Any pets must stay fully leashed at all times (see below).
Our day starts early in the summer as we harvest for market. We make every effort to be very quiet, but the field crops are close to your camp site. We will never run a tractor until after 11am. You may hear the greenhouse fans kick on starting around 9am when the system starts warming up.
Pets - Are welcome if contained on a leash at all times.
Bathrooms - are located next to the store and a short walk from your tent site.
Site - Is on level ground for tents campers RV vans and more. There is a fire pit, picnic table and water spigot. The water is not well water and comes from the county main water line. There is a main highway leading up to our gate so you do not have to off road to get to the property.

The site offers an outhouse, fire pit, fire pit grill rack for cooking, platform (which can be used for small/medium tents, or to hold a table and chairs) and a hiking trail that is about 1/3 of a mile.
Small cars are able to access campsite and park at site pretty easily.
The property also has natural wildlife like coyotes, snakes, spiders, ants, etc.. Alabama can also get very hot during June, July, August. Please prepare accordingly.

My wife and I bought this property in 2020 with the goal of turning this land into a homestead. We plan on building a home eventually and have cleared out our homesite. My mom and stepfather live at the front of the property and can help you if needed. My stepfather is retired and my mother works as a nurse assistant in town. Garden paradise in the heart of the city! I'm a former vanlifer, WWoofer, and current gardener/Wild Foraging Teacher who still loves camping even though I am currently renovating this cabin built in 1900. The cabin sits on a large lot and I also own the lot next door, which is where the campsites are. There are two site spaces and a fire ring in the middle. There is an outside water faucet close by with city water. Guests who need to check email may visit the front porch and use the guest wifi password that I share with Airbnb guests to the cabin. Since I sometimes host guests at the cabin, you can be sure to hear some excellent travel stories while here. If you are looking for privacy and not so much social interaction, let me know and we'll give you your space.

It was private and quiet. We arrived late at night and it was great that we could just go straight to the site. The directions were spot-on and the bath house was clean and functional. We also had the bonus experience of two emu in the field next to the campsite.

Place is great! Apple Maps is updated well so the directions were perfect and clear. They were extremely helpful and even gave me a log to get a fire started. As others have noted, it’s close to the road but it’s not too busy to be disruptive.

The property is so pretty and camp site 7 is very nice since the pine trees basically surround the site. The ponies were so adorable, bathroom clean and stocked. Hot showers and laundry on property. I wish I had more time at the property. Definitely a 10 of 10 experience

My wife and I had a fantastic time at this site. Finding it was as very easy and it’s 2WD accessible. It had great privacy and the area felt safe. This was my wife’s first ever camping trip and she enjoyed it. I would definitely consider this site to be beginner friendly. I would definitely camp at this site again.

Very cool spot especially if you want to see the farm animals, it’s well kept and clean. We were there when it wasn’t busy but the camps sights are a pretty close so if you were to have neighbors you won’t have much privacy unless you’re inside. I would definitely recommend the host to include some utensils, cups, and bowls even plastics would be fine. Also grill tools even just a scrubber to clean it off. Aside from small gripes it was a great stay very pleased would stay again!

The site is secluded and makes for a relaxing getaway. The little walking trail is so nice for the dog, and the amenities are great for primitive camping! I had a wonderful weekend and I hope to visit again’ :)

Quite, beautiful, the dogs loved to run in the forest, was very nice setting to be at, has a table and a place to put your trash. Firewood to make a fire in the fire pit. It was just awesome, even has a trail to walk.

Exactly what we needed for a brief oasis on our way to holiday chaos! The tent site was level and pretty. The toilet facility was clean and uncomplicated. Fire pit was a good size and had rocking chairs around it. Great star viewing!
Some highway noise in the distance. There’s running water, but it doesn’t seem potable; this appears to be a temporary issue.
A great spot to spend the night!

William’s site was absolute perfect for our road trip with our dog. Extremely private and secluded but easy to follow directions for access. We arrived after dark and had no problem finding it.
The site had the cleanest outhouse I’ve ever used and he definitely went above and beyond with the firewood (kindling pieces included) and s’more’s package (WAY larger than expected) I added on to our reservation.
The stargazing at this site cannot be beat!!
William was also extremely responsive to messaging. If we are ever in the area again, I wouldn’t hesitate to rebook. Well worth the price.
