There are livestock guardian dogs that protect the farm. They sleep lots during the day and patrol at night so they bark lots at night...
We are a REAL WORKING FARM. You can join in on morning feeding or collet eggs. You can watch or help with morning milking!
If you are real adventurous you can help around the farm!!!
You can pitch you tent in the pine forest or in the open area next to the ponds!

Also inquire about snowbirding or a possible work camp opportunity. Please plan on visiting and check out all the great things to do so close. On our farm we grow Christmas Tress, have 2 beautiful cypress ponds full of waterfowl and fish. Also there are green lanes and fields and if your lucky you can catch site or deer, turkeys, all sorts of birds maybe even a cute baby armadillo. In just over 45 minutes you can be playing on the beach in Panama City Beach, (world’s most beautiful beaches). Something a little different is just a few minutes away Falling Waters state park (Florida's tallest waterfall) and a swimming hole with walking trails. Speaking of swimming Ponce De Leon spring is big and beautiful clear blue hole spring to the west. Or go east to Marriana, about the same distance and you can visit Florida Caverns (Florida's only touring cave) with a beautiful spring with swimming, and hiking there too. We have guest also go to the Econfina Springs and canoe rental and spend a day floating the beautiful Ecofina River with 8 springs to visit on a days float. There are many State parks so close. If you want to go out to eat or socialize a local brewery and restaurants are very close and beautiful Alabama too! We are super easy to visit if you are coming from the north out of Dothan are on Interstate 10 we are just Located 1.4 miles North of Interstate right on Hwy 231. Easy access to the interstate, fuel and shopping. The farm is gated with a remote controlled gate for security. All our RV sites have full hook ups with 15, 30, and 50 amp connections, great clean water and sewer at each site. - You would be able to get a small camper on the land if you have a powerful vehicle, but we recommend you stick with car or tent camping to keep it simple.
- Keep in mind, this is a rural location, so you may occasionally hear neighbors firing weapons in the distance. While it's not common, it can happen from time to time. (Especially during hunting season.)
- You may come across wildlife during your stay. While issues and encounters with dangerous animals are extremely rare, it's always a good idea to be prepared by bringing basic first aid supplies and protective items like bear spray.
- There is a Dollar General less than a mile away for your basic needs.
- There are a handful of restaurants in town if you don't want to cook. Feel free to ask us for recommendations!
- First-time campers are always welcome! If you need assistance setting up a tent or starting a fire, we're happy to help, free of charge. Let us make your camping experience easy and enjoyable.
- This is an intimate camping spot for small groups, not a party location. The total number of people on the property must not exceed the number of guests booked. - We recommend an SUV or truck to navigate the dirt road leading to this hidden gem. All wheel drive would be ideal, especially in rainy conditions! That said, we don't have a 4x4 and we manage to get by.
- You would be able to get a small camper on the land if you have a powerful vehicle, but we recommend you stick with car or tent camping to keep it simple.
- Keep in mind, this is a rural location, so you may occasionally hear neighbors firing weapons in the distance. While it's not common, it can happen from time to time. (Especially during hunting season.)
- You may come across wildlife during your stay. While issues and encounters with dangerous animals are extremely rare, it's always a good idea to be prepared by bringing basic first aid supplies and protective items like bear spray.
- There is a Dollar General less than a mile away for your basic needs.
- There are a handful of restaurants in town if you don't want to cook. Feel free to ask us for recommendations!
- First-time campers are always welcome! If you need assistance setting up a tent or starting a fire, we're happy to help, free of charge. Let us make your camping experience easy and enjoyable.
- This is an intimate camping spot for small groups, not a party location. The total number of people on the property must not exceed the number of guests booked. Please do not host or invite additional visitors for large gatherings. You are expected to keep noise levels reasonably low to respect the wildlife and nearby residents.

Such a fun experience! We got to watch Elizabeth milk the cows and ask lots of questions. Purchased all kinds of homemade items in the farm store. The dogs were great company and came by for belly rubs and naps by our campfire. Very close to Florida Caverns State Park. Will definitely camp there again if we are in the area!

Maggie and Mike are spectacular hosts going to extra mile when you stay. They are musicians so I was fortunate enough to turn up when they had a concert on in their yard. The provided food and refreshments.
Very helpful and thoughtful people. We had great conversations about food and swapped a curry I made for some fresh honey from their hives.
Leto could go off leash and the site is easy to enter and exit. Would recommend staying here to anyone in the area.

You won’t meet nicer, more hospitable hosts. They’re working hard to realize their dream. This property has an island to explore with a marked walking path and lighting. The only way to get to it is via a floating dock. The owners are making improvements to the walking trail as well as finishing up a community kitchen complete with stove, sink, refrigerator and his and her bathrooms complete with showers for primitive and RV campers alike! You feel like you’re in a very remote place when you’re actually close to everything you might need. The property is filled with majestic oaks, cedar, magnolia and cypress trees. Absolutely wonderful! We will be back!

Lots of room for our 36 foot fifth wheel and truck. Easy in and out access. The utilities are as stated. It is basically in a back yard setting. It was nice to have our camper covered. I found it a little more crowded than what the pictures showed. But I would definitely stay there again.

RV and primitive camping spots are located in close proximity to a few lightly traveled roads, but worth mentioning if someone has concerns about trying to camp in a really remote location. I like that they have some wire fencing around perimeter of the property to help keep out most wild animals and to indicate it as privately owned property along with the signage. I really like that there is an outdoor under cover potable water deep sink available and hose with nozzle for rinsing off sand from boots or other things that you should not rinse in a sink. The port-a-potty was spotless and has an automatic light that turns on when you open the door. It is worth mentioning that there are dogs that bark on occasion from what seems to be neighboring properties that are quite some distance away, as well as early morning roosters, but was not really a concern for me due to the white noise that I had running inside my sleeping setup (fan and light music). These are all sounds to be expected when visiting a country setting and nothing that seemed to go on for an unusually long period of time. One of the owners Sherry is incredibly friendly, responsive, flexible, understanding and accommodating. When I visited it was around the holidays and I think I was the only "camper" on the property. I booked three nights, however due to family obligations I was only able to stay one night. Even though I didn't ask for any refund for my unused booked nights, Sherry was quick to do so...very kind.

We spend 2 nights with our baby and had a relax quiet family time. First time in nature for our trip and loved it! The garden is slowly developing in to a jewel between the forests trees. The gas heater did the work, we had nice and warm inside the tent.

I loved tent camping at Maggie’s. Everything I would need was provided: hot shower, clean port-a-potty, and a partial kitchen. Maggie and Michael are the bests hosts I’ve met in my 5 months of traveling. I was met and shown around when I arrived. These two have great musical talents and a lot of stories that I really enjoyed and learned something from. I would absolutley stay here again and may even make it a must stop when in the area.

Weekend Trip to Glamping In Paradise
Glamping in Paradise is a gem! The site is well appointed; we were surprised to find many amenities and thoughtful touches. Our stay endured chilly nights, warm days, and a quick downpour - no worries here with the fireplace, A/C and fan, and thick tent. The lights outside were so cozy at night and we enjoyed looking at all the plants. Host was communicative and quick to respond to app messages during our stay. A unique and enjoyable camping (glamping) experience!
