The campsite is a back in only site; not pull through. Site includes area to the left of the privacy fence facing The Oyster House rental and to the tree in the picture w/ private dock; shed is not ours. Pets are allowed but must be kept on a leash or runner and all animal waste disposed of. The site has a solar powered light, a Weber charcoal grill, a picnic table, and a burn barrel for your use. Conveniently located in a beautiful setting that is 2 miles from Waterstreet downtown with many restaurants to choose from including waterfront dining, fresh seafood, and many unique places to shop along the waterfront. Apalachicola is a golf cart friendly town. We have a Yamaha gas powered golf cart for rent at $65 daily if you would like to enjoy a close up of the town. There are many things to do in Apalachicola such as spending the day on the beautiful white sandy beaches of St. George Island. You can book a guided fishing trip or book a trip on an airboat and tour the wetlands! Port St. Joe is a close 25-30 minute drive where you can book a sunset horseback ride right on the beach beside the ocean. There are endless places to explore in town and the surrounding areas…the lighthouse in Carrabelle as well as places to explore in Cape San Blas and Indian Pass.

One acre with an area of 80x120 fenced in the eclectic fishing community of Howard Creek. DOG FRIENDLY! You can put your boat in just 5 minutes away. Howard Creek is located just 20 minutes from the St Joe Bay for saltwater fishing or access to the Gulf of Mexico, 15 minutes from the Intracoastal waterway access at White City, FL and 35 minutes from the Dead Lakes in Wewahitchka, FL. Flat site partially tucked behind some trees and set back 80 feet off of the sand street. Well water hookup, septic capabilities with macerator (lav pump), electric with 30 and 50 amp at the box on the pole (approx. 100 feet from primary parking spot) or 30 amp at the parking spot, corner of pole barn. COLD water shower and sink available. There is a pole barn on the property with our camper stored under it. You're welcome to use the remaining space under the pole barn for your leisure, approximately 20x35 ft. We're dog people! Your dogs are welcome but must supervised while you're away from the property. We have some wonderful neighbors and do not want to disturb them. There are security cameras present on the property. This is a wonderful "Forgotten Coast" region of the Florida panhandle with so much to see and do within minutes. This area took a direct hit from Hurricane Michael in 2018 and has worked hard at recovery, with so much rebuilding and growth over the last few years. Howard Creek is an eclectic little fishing community made up of a variety of residents from weekend fishers, summer or winter visitors and full time residents. This little golf cart community offers a small general store, a small community church, a volunteer fire department and two landings to put your boat in. Just 20 minutes from the quaint little beach town of Port Saint Joe, Florida. PSJ is known for its warm, welcoming people, old world Florida feel, dog-friendly beaches, Cape San Blas and Indian Pass. Many locally owned wonderful restaurants, bakeries and shops. It's easy to find a charter out of PSJ if you're interested in fishing! If you leave our site and head north, you're just 35 minutes from the Dead Lakes in Wewahitchka; some gorgeous old Florida natural views and fresh water fishing; bream, large mouth bass, crappie, shellcracker and catfish.

This was a great spot, really close to Apalachicola and St George Island. The dock and bay were absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed fishing and catching crabs off the dock. The site was nice and level and the utilities worked well. There is also a covered patio area that came in handy for the rain/sun. We'd definitely stay again!

Another wonderful stay during the Fourth of July celebration. We made new friends and memories. Enjoyed having the boat slip and had fun fishing with our grandchildren. As always, the site was clean and the people friendly. We’ll be back soon.

Great spot! I unfortunately couldn’t arrive until almost midnight but I was able to get in and set up without any issues. The fenced in space was perfect for my dog to roam around. I loved the picnic area with lots of room to make and prepare food. Using the outdoor shower in the morning sun was lovely. If I’m in the area I will absolutely book this spot again!

When you first drive in everything is clean and in place. Site was concrete and level. Lot 15 was taken by owners so they upgraded me to lot 13 and it was there larges lot. Close to the pool and you have river view. The communication was spot on when I had a question, they responded with in mins. Looking forward to our next trip west and will book as an overnight.

We had a fantastic time at Amanda’s spot with a dock. Lots of wide life in the area too. Saw dolphins, caught all kinds of fish and watched the resident eagle. Even got to see the Space Station pass over one clear night! Highly recommend and will be back. Close bike ride to downtown Apalachicola too!

Perfect spot for folks traveling with dogs! Completely fenced off and has plenty of room to play time. The property had an outdoor sink which we loved as we have a small camper. The neighborhood was very quiet. Store right around the corner. Some furry friends like to roam freely in the neighborhood just FYI for folks with reactive pups! Would absolutely come back.

If you're looking for a quaint, out of the way getaway, this is your spot. About 17 miles south west of Wewahitchka, it's set in a little town with a fully fenced yard. Be sure to have a macerator to pump. We didn't realize what that was when we booked and only had a regular sewer hose. Other than that, there's an outdoor shower and a fire pit!
