I found a tree face with a turpentine pot when I bought the place. The Santa Fe river starts in Lake Santa Fe, then meanders until it goes underground at O'Leno State Park, near High Springs. After re-emerging above ground, the river is fed by a number of freshwater springs. It flows west for several miles and is joined by the Itchetucknee river, and together they empty into the Suwannee River which flows to the gulf. There are many boating, floating, fishing and nature-watching opportunities in the area.The cabin started off as a screened pavillion, with a tin roof and concrete floor. It's undergone recent renovations, including the installation of antique windows that came from the Hippodrome theater building. There are windows running the length of the cabin on both sides, with screened open air sections above to invite the breeze. Ceiling fans and a floor fan are present as well. Clear panels and another window fill the rear wall. This gives the cabin a light and breezy feeling, tucked into nature. It's simply furnished, with curtains in the sleeping area.Learn more about this land:Private best describes my camp. Once you book the campsite (or cabin) I block the other one so you and your party have the place to yourselves. In addition to my cabin site, I am offering a bare bones campsite for those who need just that. It is suitable for those with a tent, campervan, or a truck with small camper, or a small rv.
