Has 2 full hook up sites and both have 30 and 50 amp service. Come alone or bring a friend with their RV. Water is serviced from a private well. If you are not familiar with well water, make sure to bring your bottled water for drinking. Cell phone service is very spotty and there's no WiFi. But walk across the street to the upper landing store and they might allow you to access their WiFi. Take a short walk or drive down the road and there's good Verizon service. Howard Creek is located just 20 minutes from the St Joe Bay for saltwater fishing or access to the Gulf of Mexico, 15 minutes from the Intracoastal waterway access at White City, FL and 35 minutes from the Dead Lakes in Wewahitchka, FL. Flat site partially tucked behind some trees and set back 80 feet off of the sand street. Well water hookup, septic capabilities with macerator (lav pump), electric with 30 and 50 amp at the box on the pole (approx. 100 feet from primary parking spot) or 30 amp at the parking spot, corner of pole barn. COLD water shower and sink available. There is a pole barn on the property with our camper stored under it. You're welcome to use the remaining space under the pole barn for your leisure, approximately 20x35 ft. We're dog people! Your dogs are welcome but must supervised while you're away from the property. We have some wonderful neighbors and do not want to disturb them. There are security cameras present on the property. This is a wonderful "Forgotten Coast" region of the Florida panhandle with so much to see and do within minutes. This area took a direct hit from Hurricane Michael in 2018 and has worked hard at recovery, with so much rebuilding and growth over the last few years. Howard Creek is an eclectic little fishing community made up of a variety of residents from weekend fishers, summer or winter visitors and full time residents. This little golf cart community offers a small general store, a small community church, a volunteer fire department and two landings to put your boat in. Just 20 minutes from the quaint little beach town of Port Saint Joe, Florida. PSJ is known for its warm, welcoming people, old world Florida feel, dog-friendly beaches, Cape San Blas and Indian Pass. Very well, kept with a beautiful scenery, the fact that there’s only three campsites is really nice as well so you don’t feel overcrowded. The firewood, being chopped and ready for you for $.50 a log was awesome. Beautiful sunrise, and sunset, I highly suggest you try to stay up just for a little bit because we were able to see a ton of shooting stars.

We loved camping on site 1 ar sweet tupelo. The hosts were absolutely phenomenal whenever we need anything they were always there to answer any questions and help us. We certainly will be coming back and would recommend this location to anyone wanting some peace and quiet next to the river. If you want to relax sweet tupelo is your place.

This is an amazing hipcamp! The location very much gives you a feeling that you are in the middle of nowhere, which it is. It was very quiet although it sounds like someone is keeping a pack of hunting dogs nearby and they like to bark and howl...alot. And it was very dark, not a single light in sight except the stars. All three of the sites were huge (we were in site #1) and the entire location was very clean and neat, even manicured. There was an excess of furniture for just our needs but we appreciated the grill and fire pit and adored the benches set along the rivers edge where we enjoyed our morning coffee. It isn't clear from all of the user-provided pictures but there is absolutely no access to the river itself. It's a good 20 foot drop and the warnings against getting too close to the edge are there for a reason. The utilities were great and well kept and as easy to get in an out as advertised.

Always love coming here for some R&R away from Panama City. Sherry is an amazing host and our dogs love it here. They can always tell when we are getting close and get so excited! This place is tops. 50/30 amp electric along with 110v, AND Clean water at every site. Glenn obviously wants the best experience at this place and it shows. We camped in August heat and made it work so you could too. This is the place, I'm telling you. BTW we are in a horse trailer so with an actual camper it is probably easier. Not a bad thing to say about our experience. Honest.

Super thanks Derek for allowing me to stay on your property! If anyone is visiting the Apalachicola Florida region, I highly recommend this spot if you are look for a cheap spot to park overnight. It is gated, but Derek gave instructions on how to access. The only negatives are the area is heavy with mosquitoes as there is stagnant water in the back. The other is the cell signal for me (Verizon) was poor.

This was our third time staying at Sherry's place. There is a dock right across the road at the RV park where they let our 12 year old fish. He caught several fish and was thrilled to be able to fish there. He could also ride his bike down to the boat ramp right down the road to go fishing. We enjoyed our stay very much and will hopefully be able to visit again in the fall.

This camp site is fantastic! Site is huge for large families. Easy fit our camper, truck, boat and 2nd vehicle with no issues. Site has been well planned with multiple outdoor seating or cooking areas. The sunsets over the river are wonderful and the stars shine bright. Great place to relax for the weekend!

Wonderful site! Perfect view of the river. The site had everything we needed from extra tables and chairs to a big fire pit. The grill was even better because you can use it for grilling or move the grill cover over and have a small fire in it. My family really enjoyed the spot. We will definitely be coming back in the cooler months of the year.
