There are two ponds located on the property both stocked with bass, bluegill, and sunfish. The front pond is home to many natural Florida wildlife and is a great location to bird watch. There are endless places to put a tent including by the lake, or completely private areas, or by the common areas to be close to a bathroom and kitchen and pavilion, water and electric. The amenities include a pavilion with an outside kitchen, dinning and living area. There is also a ( large shed converted to a ) cook shack with a full size fridge, microwave, electric burners and a toaster oven. There is also a bathroom with a full-size shower/tub, hot water and a toilet. It comes with all of the basics to be comfortable while you camp. Also, you have a good chance of being alone. we usually only book 1 party at a time, Just message me to confirm. The property has enough lighting to completely light up the common area. There is also water and electric all over the property. There is a shooting range right outside of the property that is part of the forest. There is Blue Sink several miles away, it is a spring feed swimming hole that is deep enough for SCUBA. There is horse trails and OHV trails as well. This camp was a hunting camp and still has an huge animal cleaning station on the back side of the property, with water, drainage, power, lighting and all stainless steel sinks and counters. Come to play and explore or come to relax. Our camp is always (slowly)being Improved, you might see work in progress so be aware there may be a consolidated area that looks messy. This is a camp, everything gets dusty, and there are bugs. We keep the yard kept up and do what we can to limit bugs in the common area. I recommend a 4x4 although I don’t own one my self. The roads are usually decent, but the weather has a lot to do with roads in the forest.

We offer several opportunities for guests: Campsite A: “Rv” 30amp plugin and UV filtered water hookup. Class C or smaller preferred. This site backs up to the trail so, periodically you see a cyclist buzz by. Adjacent to RV pad is a raised/clean tent camping area with additional room for tables and chairs. The whole space is about 50ft x 50ft Campsite B “The Bus” is a retired 1978 Greyhound Tourbus. The cab remains untouched with all the vintage radios and switches. As for the rest…it’s essentially a queen size sleeping studio. Equipped with 2 small under mount refrigerators, a large toaster, 2 burner stove and hot water. Definitely went far out with this one but, it also has fun lighting and 100’s of vinyl records and amazing sound system. The windows are very thick and filter the natural daylight, so reading or jumping online (yes there is Internet) is very relaxing. Campsite C “The Preserve” is for those that just have a small tent and minor gear. Bike touring is popular in our area and we are a base camp for mid-journey adventures. Affordable, safe and refreshing….and back gate to the trail. Our Indoor/Outdoor restroom is fully enclosed and plumbed with hot water shower and flushing toilet. At times you will think you are in the Amazon jungle. The birds are very playful, entertaining to watch them play throughout the day. You are more than welcome to go and interact with the birds. There are swinging hammock chairs hung up in the sanctuary for your comfort. There is a variety of wildlife out here every day. You will see turkeys, deer, raccoons, armadillos, wild boars and even on occasion a black bear. There is a fire pit by the Rv site that you can use to sit around in the evening and enjoy a fire if you wish. However, we don't recommend you go walking out into the swampy brush area, as there is a lot of Florida native wildlife like snakes and etc. and we want you to be safe. If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. Our property is gated and fenced off and extremely private. And no one can just walk on to our ranch. We live and work on the property ourselves, and are just a short walk or phone call away. This is a very private place, no close neighbors. Our goal is to give you all the space and privacy you need and or require. Most of our guests are here to participate at an event at the Daytona 500 track. Only 35 minutes to get to the track in Daytona. We understand that alot of our guests are driving from long distances to get here. We will work with you on check in times not to worry. Also, you have a good chance of being alone. we usually only book 1 party at a time, Just message me to confirm. The property has enough lighting to completely light up the common area. There is also water and electric all over the property. There is a shooting range right outside of the property that is part of the forest. There is Blue Sink several miles away, it is a spring feed swimming hole that is deep enough for SCUBA. There is horse trails and OHV trails as well. This camp was a hunting camp and still has an huge animal cleaning station on the back side of the property, with water, drainage, power, lighting and all stainless steel sinks and counters. Come to play and explore or come to relax. Our camp is always (slowly)being Improved, you might see work in progress so be aware there may be a consolidated area that looks messy. This is a camp, everything gets dusty, and there are bugs. We keep the yard kept up and do what we can to limit bugs in the common area. I recommend a 4x4 although I don’t own one my self. The roads are usually decent, but the weather has a lot to do with roads in the forest.

This site backs up to the trail so, periodically you see a cyclist buzz by. Adjacent to RV pad is a raised/clean tent camping area with additional room for tables and chairs. The whole space is about 50ft x 50ft Campsite B “The Bus” is a retired 1978 Greyhound Tourbus. The cab remains untouched with all the vintage radios and switches. As for the rest…it’s essentially a queen size sleeping studio. Equipped with 2 small under mount refrigerators, a large toaster, 2 burner stove and hot water. Definitely went far out with this one but, it also has fun lighting and 100’s of vinyl records and amazing sound system. The windows are very thick and filter the natural daylight, so reading or jumping online (yes there is Internet) is very relaxing. Campsite C “The Preserve” is for those that just have a small tent and minor gear. Bike touring is popular in our area and we are a base camp for mid-journey adventures. Affordable, safe and refreshing….and back gate to the trail. Our Indoor/Outdoor restroom is fully enclosed and plumbed with hot water shower and flushing toilet. The concrete structure is for all camp guests.

It is very quiet and private out here on the ranch. There are no close neighbors in the vicinity of our property. On the property, we have an exotic bird sanctuary about 200 feet from the RV site. At times you will think you are in the Amazon jungle. The birds are very playful, entertaining to watch them play throughout the day. You are more than welcome to go and interact with the birds. There are swinging hammock chairs hung up in the sanctuary for your comfort. There is a variety of wildlife out here every day. You will see turkeys, deer, raccoons, armadillos, wild boars and even on occasion a black bear. There is a fire pit by the Rv site that you can use to sit around in the evening and enjoy a fire if you wish. However, we don't recommend you go walking out into the swampy brush area, as there is a lot of Florida native wildlife like snakes and etc. and we want you to be safe. If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. Our property is gated and fenced off and extremely private. And no one can just walk on to our ranch. We live and work on the property ourselves, and are just a short walk or phone call away. This is a very private place, no close neighbors. Our goal is to give you all the space and privacy you need and or require. Most of our guests are here to participate at an event at the Daytona 500 track. Only 35 minutes to get to the track in Daytona. We understand that alot of our guests are driving from long distances to get here. We will work with you on check in times not to worry. We had such a wonderful stay at this campground! The grounds are absolutely beautiful and incredibly peaceful — the perfect place to unwind. We had a great time at Lucky U Ranch and will definitely be back! The bathrooms, showers, coffee bar, and dishwashing station were absolutely next level and set a new standard for camping. Rob and Mike also did a great job thinking of little things that made this day even more enjoyable. And of course, interacting with the animals was great fun for our whole group. We are frequent campers and brought along first timers - this was a great place to “break them in“ 🤓 We’re looking forward to our next visit!

Let's just start by saying the reviews are spot on, and if we could give more than 5 stars, this place would be getting them. From the very start, the hosts were very connected and went over everything. The sites are perfectly maintained, well set up, and accommodating. The bathrooms were actually clean and functioning, there was coffee and hot chocolate in the morning, and having horses and donkeys roaming around was just icing on the cake. Out of the sites we have visited (HipCamp and State Parks), this one is by far our favorite and will be on regular rotation. You will not be disappointed in any aspect here.
