We are not far outside of the town of Fellsmere where you can find some restaurants and services if needed.Our property is great for hiking, biking, local fishing, or hanging out with our farm animals. There are trails to be found less than a mile from our property but you can also head to Sebastian Preserve for hiking or over to Stick Marsh for fishing.Your hosts are onsite and we like to meet campers and just get to know them a little. Then we leave the campers alone unless they need something :)About the listingOur property has two sites that can accommodate tent camping or van/truck camping and we look forward to welcoming you. Please keep in mind that if you are brining a van or truck camper the maximum length we can accommodate is 20 ft. We do not have any hookups at this time so you will be dry camping or tent camping only. The surface of the sites is grassy and does need some leveling if you’re in a van. Some amenities you can find at our listings:-We are family friendly-There is a fire pit provided and campfires are allowed-There is a grill available onsite-There is a toilet (porta-potty) available onsite-There is a pump available for potable water-We are pet friendly -There is a picnic table on site for lounging and meal prep-We have trash bins available-We do not have a kitchen or cooking gear available, please BYO-There is no wifi and cell reception can be limitedAdditional details to noteWhile there is a fire pit please remember to bring your own firewood! River Ranch has a direct outlet to the Kissimmee River which is known for some of the best bass fishing in Florida and where many tournaments are held. U.S. Skeet and Shoot World competitions were also held at River Ranch.
Perhaps the best known fact about River Ranch is that it holds the record for the longest operating rodeo in Florida. Many local and national champions perform here on a weekly basis. Tater Porter who lives in nearby Kennansville is a world champion Bull Rider. Also, The Saloon which was originally built in Texas in 1918 continues to be a favorite hot spot!

I absolutely enjoyed the camping space! Lots of room and very private. The scenery was stunning and the host was very welcoming. They are pet friendly as well so my dog loved the space too! Highly recommend if looking for a relaxing getaway.

We had a great time camping at this preserve. Michael is very responsive and doesn’t hesitate to answer any questions you may have. When we arrived he had someone ready to show us how to get to our spot which is secluded so very peaceful change from the busy state parks. The site was clean and had great space and coverage. I would definitely recommend this to anyone and would stay again!!

Tent camping with our two dogs in November. The site had a fire pit (sand with some cinderblocks) that fit our needs; brought our own wood. Toilet was close to site, site was clean and private. Bring bug spray. Goats were cool and property dog “Pete” was nice.

We Loved Rafaelas site 311. Beautiful big tress that provide the perfect amount of shade during the day while adding beautiful ambiance at night around the fire. Will definitely stay there again. Highly reccomend!

Michael was very informative, so we arrived well prepared. The site is beautiful, quiet, and peaceful. Our group of forty plus people had plenty of room to play and spread out, while still being able to enjoy group company. There was a lot of space, allowing us to have a choice for locations of tents, fire ring, and picnic tables to best suit our group (ages 5-50). This location was a much better group experience than the state park we went to last year. At the Saint Lucie Farm Preserve we could all be together, had safety and privacy for the kids to adventure together, had the freedom to have a noisy site while awake but also had the tranquility of the property when we wanted to sleep - it was an awesome experience. We can’t wait to book again next year. Highly recommend!

Nice piece of property with some goats and chickens. Very private camp site 1. Great star gazing area. Fire pit, charcoal grill and wood on site. Steve was very friendly and the space felt welcoming. Due to weather we had to pack out 1 day early but we still had a great time and had a feel for the area. We did a nice loop hike at a state park that was less then 15min away
