Welcome to the Unplugged Forest of Mason Dixon Outfarm. Located on the Delmarva Peninsula, the Unplugged Forest offers a rare blend of history, nature, and privacy, for you are the only one enjoying the space. We sit directly on the Mason–Dixon Line, marked by an original 1764 historical stone dividing Federalsburg, MD and Bridgeville, DE. Though just five miles from either town, the forest feels completely secluded. Our farm spans 41 acres. Thirty-one acres hold our homestead, while the remaining 10 acres, your camping sanctuary—sitting along side a dirt road, separated by a peaceful non-tidal creek. This setting allows you to unplug while staying close to popular destinations like Easton, St. Michaels, Cambridge, and Ocean City, MD, as well as Milford, Milton, Rehoboth, and Lewes, DE all within an hour. We’ve intentionally created an off-grid, calming nature experience. You’ll be surrounded by forest, open farmland and abundant wildlife. Native gardens, fruit trees, nut trees and herbs were planted near the tent areas in September 2024, offering beauty and a deeper connection to the land. Enjoy thoughtfully placed gathering spaces throughout the forest, including a whimsical Forest Tea Party area and Uncontained, our cozy repurposed shipping container—perfect for reading, board games, or shelter during a summer pop-up thunderstorm. A nature -made hammock area amongst tall pine trees is perfect for afternoon naps and are provided by us (7) Fire-pit seating, picnic tables, a charcoal grill, and a propane cooktop are also available. Walk the short Jeremiah Dixon/Charles Mason Trail, a path similar to one they would have taken in the 1700s. Follow it through the forest and across the creek to our homestead, where you can place one foot in Maryland and one in Delaware at the historic Mason–Dixon marker beneath an old wild cherry tree. Before heading back, stop at the main farm gate to visit our friendly goats—Dixie, Dolly, and Star. Come rest, wander, and reconnect—for this calming experience is where time slows and nature leads.

For racing enthusiasts, Dover Motor Speedway is just 18 miles away, while Harrington Fairgrounds is a mere 10 miles from our site. Redden State Forest

Sleep under the stars in one of Delaware'ss largest forests. Redden State Forest caters to all kinds of campers. You can book a tent site with access to the park’s biking, hiking, and horseback riding trails. Campsites remain open year-round, so you can grill, roast s’mores, and cozy up during your Delaware getaway.

Killens Pond State Park

Head North of Redden State Forest to Killens Pond State Park. As the name suggests, the park is all about the water. You can fish, kayak, and canoe on-site, as well as explore the park’s waterpark. The whole family will enjoy a stroll along the boardwalk, while the nature center is a bird-watcher’s dream. Campsites remain open year-round, with tent sites, cabin rentals, and RV sites with hookups.

Cape Henlopen State Park

Set on an old military base, Cape Henlopen State Park has it all: history, trails, campsites— oh, and did we mention beaches? The park overlooks Delaware Bay, so campsites are never far from the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy the best of Delaware beaches, like Lewes Beach. When to go

The Atlantic Ocean stuns year-round, but Delaware is a coastal state—so come when you can most enjoy the coast. For some campers, that means tent camping in the summer, when Delaware beaches peak.
