We're only 1.5 miles from a SECRET entrance to Fahnestock and the trailhead to Candlewood Hill, one of the park's most exquisite views.. Just 2.5 miles away is a main parking lot and the hub for several other hiking trails including Catfish Loop, Three Lakes, Old Mine Railroad and the famed Appalachian Trail. We can provide you with a trail map and help plan your hike. Swimming at Canopus Lake is only 7 miles away. Other Fahenstock activities include fishing, boat rentals, biking, and snowshoeing/x-country skiing in the winter.
Both the Glynwood Center for Regional Food and Farming and Stonecrop Gardens are only about 8 minutes away.

Each campsite can be rented as a single tent or family camping with two tents. both tents can be furnished with either 2 twin beds or 1 Queen bed. Message me ahead of time with your needs and I will set it up accordingly. All blankets and sheets are provided. Each tent has a mini fridge, Keurig which comes with a few kcups, cream and sugars to get you started. There is a 24" TV with Alexa firestick and DVD player. We have a large catalog of movies if you'd like to borrow them. There is a small breakfast table for 2 and a 3 drawer dresser that doubles as a night table with a lamp . There is an outlet on each side of the bed for charging phones
Outside the tent your area has a gas grill and picnic table, a camp box which contains pots pans, cooking utensils, paper plates, cups and more. A campbox inventory list is posted in the pictures. There is a fire pit with adirondack chairs, sit by the fire and roast Marshmallows we provide everything you need for smores including the sticks.
Bath towels and toiletries are provided there is a large shower with dressing room and a deluxe flushable Porta potty with a sink and paper towels on the property.
You are welcome to walk the property sit and relax on one of the many benches or chairs or get a game of cornhole going.

I took this trip with my adult son and I was as tranquil and a bounty of wildlife. The sunsets are great and you’re perch on a hill overlooking a lake so quite scenic. If you want to totally disconnect be at peace and rough it a little this is the place for you. There is a a generator for light, heat and a refrigerator. We took our own portable compost and a small rinse king system to wash up..
Cooking outside was a thrill for my son as well, we gather wood from the surroundings.
Konsztantine was very responsive and quite hospitable. Quick responses to whatever we asked. Best in class host. I will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

We had a great weekend in the canvas tent. Very private spot, the heater kept us warm in the tent at night and the fire pit during the day! A lot hiking trails just a very short drive away!

Evan & Laura have an amazing set up. They had great communication during our stay and in the week leading up. They checked in to see if we needed anything prior, including the propane heater, which in 30-something degree weather was an essential and extremely helpful. The site truly had anything you could ever need. We were extremely impressed and surprised by the outhouse with toilet, shower, and usb-c chargers(!) inside. Reading reviews beforehand were helpful and led us to pack lighter, given the steep climb up. But the climb was definitely worth it. We also loved how Evan showed us how the goats and chickens were fed. My pup definitely loved running up and down the hill to the site and marveled (sometimes a little too much lol) at the goats and chickens she was seeing for the first time! Evan was both kind and accommodating. Would definitely stay again!

Our night in the Tipi was such an amazing and unique experience. Cold weather ruined our original camping trip and I was able to book Lauren’s Tipi pretty much last minute.
It was so comfy, and furnished perfectly. She had fresh water, wood, fire starters, blankets, chairs, everything we could possibly need. Even the composting toilet was welcoming. No complaints here, except for the cloudy skies. Thanks again!

Evan & Laura have done a wonderful job with the campsite! It seems like they thought of everything, even the tiniest little details. My son and I really enjoyed the vibe and had a nice evening sleeping inside tent while it rained. Highly recommend!

Everything was as described. A secluded spot with a great view of the changing leaves. Host were very accommodating, especially when a storm came through and changed our plans. Great for anyone looking to cook on an open flame.

Weekend Trip to Glamping @ Meadow Ridge Farm
We loved this spot in the woods:) Tiffany made sure everything was ready for us upon our arrival. It was a super private and beautiful location. The kids loved visiting the cows in the morning and I especially loved the peace and quiet by the fire with my morning coffee:) We had to check out early due to dangerous wind conditions but hope to return.

Weekend Trip to Apothecary Gardens NY
We really loved our stay at the tipi. Lauren was exceptionally accommodating and refunded us when we decided to leave a day early because of the weather. The tipi was lovely, everything was provided (firewood, starter logs, drinking water etc etc) and having an open fire inside was a very special experience. It's nicely tucked away in a small wooded area behind the host's home. The bedding was very warm and we stayed cozy. Lots of great activities in Warwick, Sugar Loaf, and the surrounding area as well. We will be back!

Weekend Trip to Luxury Camping at 'Higher Ground'
Staying here was a magical experience! We went in mid-October and the leaves were so beautiful. The campsite has everything you could possibly need, the bed was super comfy, and the table was great for cooking and eating breakfast on. The outhouse is extremely clean and even has a shower! The area around the site is stunning too we even saw some deer. The best part is Evan allowed us to help feed the goats and the chickens in the morning! You won't regret staying here

It was a Devine experience, it’s a beautiful tipi and the family are the best with great smiles and great hearts. Nice lil fire place inside the tipi I made alkaline shish kabobs. Waking up and going to sleep to the sounds of nature is wealth at its purest form.

Lots of fun! We are in our 60s and the hike up to the campsite is rough but absolutely doable. The remote setting is very peaceful and Evan is an attentive host. The tent was so cozy!

It was so peaceful there! Isolated but in a neighborhood, quiet sounds of road nearby but not distracting to the peace. All accommodations were as told, nothing fancy but all necessities met and site was clean. My recommendations are to make sure the site is stocked with firewood which Evan did for me, and the heater rental is simply a must in the fall. Like other reviewers said, pack light due to the climb and carry simply made food needs. I would happily return.

We had an amazing time at this campsite! Check-in was super easy, and the location is very secluded — it honestly felt like we were the only ones there, which made it extra peaceful. The site came stocked with firewood, a lighter, and even some cooking supplies, which was such a nice touch. The host was fantastic as well, with quick and friendly communication that made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a quiet getaway!

One of the best camping experiences I’ve had! Coming from Manhattan, we didn’t have all our gear to go traditional camping, so this was the perfect blend of camping and lodging. They had a bed, sheets, blankets, pillows, dishes, silverware, kitchen ware, flashlights, chairs, bathroom, and shower to make the trip easy and light. Walking up the hill with firewood was a trek, but that’s always expected with camping. For what the hosts provide and the cleanliness of the site, I think this was definitely worth the price. Not to mention, we got to see their goats and chickens and explore nearby cities/trails that were absolutely charming. I’d book again!

Beautiful location, very secluded, amenities were amazing, and very friendly host. The goats and chicken were cute. Pack very light, or be prepared for a lot of steep climbing to get to the tent site, though! It was a bit stressful carrying luggage up and down while having a toddler around.
