What we offer: In addition to an exceptional view of the mountain, our place is clean, spacious, orderly, quiet, inexpensive, with super fast and stable WiFi. What we don’t offer: fancy landscaping or restrooms. The Adventure Haven feels open, public and safe to most people. Funky and rural, in high pristine desert with a sweet view of the mountain is the overall vibe. Hours can go by with no traffic noise. This is in contrast to the constant drone of traffic noise in Moab. We are also about ten degrees cooler than Moab with nights cooling off even more; what a relief! The Adventure Haven is a five site mini-RV park located in an old and somewhat derelict subdivision in a small town on a 1.5 acre lot. A uranium boom town in the 1950's, La Sal is now a shadow of past times (and littered with artifact trailers and structures). But we are in beautiful high desert country and we are at the foothills of the La Sal Mountains and the park has a completely unobstructed view of this range! What kind of people LIKE it here? Those who like peace and quiet and dark skies. Relaxed full-time RVers, work-at-homes who need strong and fast WiFi, folks on a budget, those who like to support Hipcamp hosts, people looking for inside local information, solo travelers who want to feel safe yet not in a crowded place - like they’re near someone they know, and in a quiet, small town where unusual things are noticed. What kind of people DON’T like it here? People expecting a resort, or a vast-pristine-remote property. While we are under construction on the outdoor space, the main building that we have converted into a coworking space is available for our guests to use from the hours of 9AM - 6PM. Unfortunately, we are on old agricultural land so the sites are in the direct sun during the day. Please be aware that it gets hot out here in the summer and take this into consideration when booking your stay with us. Please note that there is only one camping structure allowed per site (one tent, one rv, one van, etc.). Since we are under construction we ask that you use caution when pulling into the lot. Weekend Trip to High Sage Hogans
We had such a great stay! The tipi was a really cool and unique camping experience, close enough to Moab to get to everything easily, but far enough away to avoid the hustle and bustle of town. It was peaceful, quiet, and exactly what we were looking for. Our favorite part of the trip was definitely Ringo, the sweet dog on the property. He “showed us around” and played with our dog the entire stay. Watching them run and explore together was honestly a highlight. Danny was incredibly kind and hospitable. He checked in on us, made sure we were comfortable, and you can tell he genuinely cares about his guests having a good experience. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

This site is Exceptional !!!!! Very Clean and although it might not seem like it on the drive in - very secluded with gorgeous views of the La Sal Mountains. We turned left onto Pearl street when we should have gone straight into the ranch - there is a “Hipcamp” sign - so make sure to look for that! Best overnight spot for us yet! Highly Recommend!!!

Comfortable and safe place for an overnight in my 20-foot van about 30 minutes south of Moab. The electric hookup was great as a big storm front had made it difficult to recharge with solar. The pit toilet was clean and well lit during the night.

This was a fantastic place to stay. Roomy campsites even for our large toy hauler. Very quiet local with beautiful views of the La Sal mountains. The hosts James and Linda were very friendly and accommodating. 30 minutes from Moab, so away from all the commotion. Great place to stay

Stayed for 2 nights in this hipcamp and wished we could have stayed longer! Host was great and our site was perfect. They have a great location near Montrose and Black Canyon of the Gunnison. We just drove cross country and the bathroom/shower were better than any other campsite we have stayed at so far. Site we had was very level and we loved being right next to their pond. Would definitely consider staying again if we come back to the area!

This place is so very magical. The host was so very kind and helpful. His place was better than a lot of campgrounds we paid way more money to stay at. Very private and the scenery was amazing. From sunrise to sunset the views changed daily. We will be back when we come this way again and will stay longer. :)

Weekend Trip to Adventure Haven RV
James and Linda were super friendly and available if needed. We got in easy (#3) with our 35' + tow. Ground was flat. W/S/G all good. Easy paved road there and nice gravel last block. RV Garmin took us to house next door but you can see RV park . You want quiet, this was it.

Camp Stargazer is an absolute gem! Sean and Vickie have built an incredible campsite. It is very comfortable, has everything you need, and looking up at the stars is jaw-droppingly beautiful. Hands down the coolest bathroom experience of my life.. you'll see when you're there!
