Beetle kill tongue and groove ceiling, cultured barn wood wanes coating. It's super nice. The ranch itself may be the reason for the "glamp" booking. The yard is manicured and the 25 house, goats and chickens are fun to see. The big plus is we are only 20 minutes away from the Grand Mesa outdoorsman mecca. This is probably the cheapest base camp to the Mesa. The ranch is a great base camp to wineries, Moab, Telluride, Black Canyon of the Gunnison, fishing, boating, hiking, trails and hundreds of open BLM land for Razor riding. Check us out.

Beetle kill tongue and groove ceiling, cultured barn wood wanes coating. It's super nice. The ranch itself may be the reason for the "glamp" booking. The yard is manicured and the 25 house, goats and chickens are fun to see. The big plus is we are only 20 minutes away from the Grand Mesa outdoorsman mecca. This is probably the cheapest base camp to the Mesa. The ranch is a great base camp to wineries, Moab, Telluride, Black Canyon of the Gunnison, fishing, boating, hiking, trails and hundreds of open BLM land for Razor riding. Check us out.

It was a beautiful spot, the cabin was nice. However, I was disappointed and left kind of at a disadvantage, because according to the description, there was supposed to be potable water on-site! There was not, There was also supposed to be electricity! There was not, did not see the bathroom pit either. The description indicated there would be a trundle bed, which there was, with one mattress on the upper part, no secondary mattress. The host was supposed to meet us on-site and never showed up. Luckily, we came prepared for some things. Had an air mattress to make up the difference. However, we shortered ourselves on water as we expected to have potable water on-site. Aside from the misrepresentation, it was a beautiful sight. And we did enjoy our stay.

We had a great stay in the ranch for a couple of nights, Dave & Barb were kind and thoughtful hosts. We (our dog included) enjoyed walking around the ranch and saying hello to the horses every morning. The temperatures were high when we stayed but the cabin had an AC that kept us cool when needed, which we especially appreciated. The cabin felt private but not remote, which was perfect for our needs.

I loved staying at this little spot - it was close to the river which my dogs absolutely loved! The views were gorgeous and sitting by the campfire watching the cliffs change color was therapy! We stayed inside the little hut on the property but I think next time I will pitch a tent to enjoy the breeze as the hut got warm at night! The property was very easy to find and get to. Would love to go back one day to get sometime off the grid.

Being on a real ranch with horses, a cow, donkeys, some goats and chickens was an added bonus. There are many red winged blackbirds and doves on the property. This place is a hidden gem. I really enjoyed the quaint and cozy vibes. The wood stove functioned well and kept the place hot. The wifi was a pleasant surprise. We really enjoyed the friendly pupper dog. There was a potter poty , but no shower. As hiker's and backpackers we are okay with the rustic. If you stay here, you won't be disappointed.

The warmest welcome I’ve ever gotten at a Hipcamp! My son and I were on night 9 of a 10 day trip and exhausted, and it was so great to have such a comfortable and warm place to stay. The ranch was the site of a sawmill in the early 1900s when the old Rio Grande Southern and Galloping Goose Railroads ran through the property along the Dolores River. All that’s left now is a little shack in the middle of the meadow and some remnants of the railroad tracks in the river.
