During times when the road is snow-covered and impassable, guests may access the cabin only by snowshoe, backcountry skis, or snowmobile. A public parking lot, which is plowed and maintained throughout the winter, is available for guest parking before using these alternative methods of access.
🛷 Trail Conditions: About a 2-mile stretch of Tennessee Creek Road is groomed during winter for skiing and snowmobiling up to Forest Road 103. Beyond that point, the road is ungroomed and may have deep powder or snow drifts, making travel more challenging.

This place was beautifully remote, yet accessible enough that we could get there without four-wheel drive. The stars at night were just incredible. Our hosts greeted us when we arrived, and there was a space available just for us at the top of the hill. We would probably have seen other campers, had we not been the only ones.

The best views, thank you so much! We had the best time relaxing and enjoying your space. We brought out 18ft rpod and was such an easy set up. Can’t get over the views, sunrise and sunsets! Spectacular! Loved also being around tress, we loved walking our dogs around the property. They had a great time, we will be back!

I had a great time staying at Jennifer’s goat ranch! The tent was already set up for us with cots; everything was super clean and tidy. It made for an easy time checking in and getting back to the action in Buena Vista. The fire pit and fold out table was a really nice touch. Highly recommend!

Jennifer & Sean were very responsive to questions and communication. Our group were friends and family coming together to raft and kayak our favorite river for a weekend. Some of us have been boating the Arkansas river for over 30 & 40! years here and are used to camping around the area. Their goat ranch is well located for river access and we had plenty of room for our raft trailers. We would love to come back again.

I loved this Hipcamp location! Because my main purpose was to have a safe place to stay while tackling a few 14ers, I didn't have any time to meet the goats or the host (and I was up before the roosters 😬). The farm/campsite was very easy to find. The tent was very spacious and clean, a bit of dust had settled on the bedsheet before I checked in, but I appreciated that it was set up at all. Luckily I had brought my own sleeping bag so it didn't bother me after shaking the sheet outside. Jennifer was communicative leading up the the reservation and let me know about the fire ban ahead of my arrival. I will be back!

Beautiful, remote spot with endless views. There is a well-stocked pit stop 20 min away with gas, bathrooms, a saloon/restaurant, etc. We’ve stayed at this property two years in a row and will keep going back. Note that it does get windy in these geographic areas, but we camp in a teardrop so that isn’t as big a concern for us. We drive to the reservoir down the road and into Buena Vista for day trips.

We had a great time over New Year’s, albeit super cold. But it was the perfect and quiet getaway. Loved the huge fire pit as well that was protected from the wind. The hosts even gave our car a jump on New Years Day after we discovered it was dead in the morning. Would definitely come back and stay again!
