With kids
We had such a wonderful greeting from Sara’s grazing sheep, her dog Yogi and her cat Salty. It took only minutes for my son to join her daughter on the family’s swing-set.
We had intended to “glamp” somewhere close to Estes Park, and the Burro fit the bill! The tiny space heater made the camper cozy on the cold nights, and we had access to her walk-in basement restroom and shower (even if we opted not to shower because we like to “rough it” on camping trips).
After a day of hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park, my 8-year-old could not wait to “get back to the farm”, and spend time with all the animals. Sara’s daughter Rose even treated my son to a riding lesson on a pony for a very reasonable price.
We also enjoyed the nearby creek just at the back of her property and an excellent recommendation to a nearby park.
Additional perk is that my little loved to pet the animals in the morning while I was getting breakfast or dinner ready. Always something to do at this beautiful location!

Weekend Trip to Hart Family Farm
Staying at Burro on Sara’s property was amazing. Having opportunity for shower in the house and staying in the privacy of the backyard was a great combination for my wife and me. Camper was clean, just enough for two of us on a great location. Close to the main road, yet secluded. Short drive to the restaurants, grocery shops, coffee shops, bakery and trails. Sara was a great host and we would stay at her place again anytime. Excellent communication.

2 nights at Hart Family Farm
I loved the location and landscape views I had while camping at Sara's. It was private but there were other people and animals around. I made friends with a handsome orange kitty while there and love watching the chickens free ranging around the grounds. Nice stay. Thank you.

This was such a fun place to stay at! I loved waking up to the horses and other animals nearby. Brooke was a great host and I would absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful site on quiet farm with friendly animals. Slept 4 people which was cozy but enough space. It was a great stay and the host was very responsive and welcoming!

We loved our visit!! Spent time hanging out with Popcorn the mule. He was so sweet! Totally peaceful and private. The doggies loved running, playing, and swimming.

How cool is it to be greeted by horses when you arrive or wake up in the morning. We were looking for something away from touristic camps and this met our needs just fine. Basic but quiet.

I loved the farm setting. My kids had a wonderful time with the animals and at the playground. It was comfortable camping in the RV and directions were clear. We would go back!
