Weekend Trip to The Painted Lake
Really really nice place and nice hosts! Enjoyed staying in the tree house and all of the animals are so friendly (especially the 17 cute puppies!!!). There are a lot of things to explore and would definitely love to visit again

Weekend Trip to The Painted Lake
I booked the lake view cabin to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience. The cabin itself was super cute, cozy, and had large windows perfect for stargazing at night. The view from the cabin was absolutely epic — both sunrise and sunset were breathtaking, and the lake was stunningly beautiful.
The property has a lovely rustic charm with friendly animals like dogs, hens, sheep, goats, lambs, and a horse. There’s even a kayak available if you want to explore the lake, which we really enjoyed.
Jeremy was an amazing host — friendly, responsive, and went above and beyond by arranging a beautiful bouquet for my wife at my request. He patiently answered all my questions since it was my first glamping experience, which made everything smooth and enjoyable.
One small note for first-time campers: the portable toilet is a bit away from the cabin and doesn’t have a traditional flush, so it might be an adjustment at first.
Overall, we had an incredible stay and would definitely love to come back again — next time with our friends!

Weekend Trip to River Bluff Retreat
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Magical Getaway!
This campsite was everything we hoped for and more! It was peaceful, absolutely beautiful, and incredibly private—the perfect place to disconnect from the noise of everyday life and reconnect with nature. The entire experience felt enlightening and refreshing.
The RV was extremely comfortable and homey, with cozy touches that made it feel like a true retreat. The kitchen was stocked with every utensil we could’ve possibly needed, which made cooking super easy and enjoyable.
The views were breathtaking, especially during sunrise and sunset. One of the best parts was being able to hike along the river and explore nature without seeing another person—just pure tranquility and wide-open space.
Other things we loved:

✅ Thoughtful host who clearly care about the guest experience
✅ Perfect balance of comfort and “outdoor adventure”
✅ A hidden gem that feels private but still safe and welcoming
If you’re looking for a beautiful, serene escape where you can relax, recharge, and enjoy nature in complete privacy, this is the place. We didn’t want to leave and will definitely be coming back! 🌲✨

3 nights at Yosemite Westlake Camp
Mac’s cabin was a comfortable and beautiful experience. We enjoyed each moment that he came by and spoke with us. He took the time to check in on us with friendly laughter. The restrooms and showers were very conveniently located. The amenities like the microwave and heater were very handy. At the end of our trip, Mac was very friendly enough to leave us with hand picked tomatoes and a watermelon from his garden. Not to mention that I made an oversight on our trip dates and Mac was more than accommodating to push up our stay and adjust the dates. He’s very helpful and his campground is top notch across the board. Highly recommend would come again.

My family and i we enjoy the view, the 3 dogs that were around us, the fresh eggs, was a fantastic weekend, i love to cook outdoors, everything was perfect, we love animals, the horses are so sweet,, I really recommend this place. Jeremy was a very good host, thank you very much.

We had an amazing time at Jeremy's place! Jeremy was so kind and hospitable. He had great recommendations for food and places to go. The kids loved being able to gather chicken eggs each morning to eat. His dogs Juno, Luna, and Willow were the sweetest. We loved being able to hang out with the horses and the goats as well.
It was an experience of a lifetime to be able to wake up and see the sunrise and the lake. We loved being able to go down to the lake to fish and ride the kayaks as well.

Jeremy is an amazing host and the tree house was the perfect stay for us. It’s centrally located to beautiful forests and trails and the town of Murphy (with a wonderful park and creek for kids to play). The bathrooms were so clean, having a mini fridge was great, and evenings on the porch were idyllic.
Jeremy was quick to respond, gave great restaurant recommendations, and was understanding when we had to leave a day early due to an emergency.
We will definitely be back again!

We absolutely loved our stay. Mac was a great host as well as John. The amenities in the tiny house were absolutely perfect and although small, comfortably fit the three of us. The campsite was fun and spacious and the kids loved playing with the campsite pets. Will definitely visit again.

We had a great time at this peaceful and unique spot near New Melones Lake. Our group of about 10 stayed in early July, and while temps hit around 100°, the lake was an awesome place to cool off. It’s about a 15–20 minute walk from the treehouse, and the water is clean, quiet, and great for fishing—we even caught one!
The treehouse cabin sits at the top of the hill with a great deck, good sleeping setup, and absolutely amazing views in every direction. The outdoor kitchen and private shower were big highlights. Everything was clean and well-stocked, including the porta-potty. We especially enjoyed the fresh eggs from the chickens—perfect for breakfast.
The kids had a blast exploring and loved the friendly dogs and goats around the property. The only real challenge was the steep hill between the treehouse and the kitchen/shower area. The kids took a few spills, and it was a bit tough for the older folks—just something to keep in mind if you’ve got mobility concerns.
Overall, this is a really cool and relaxing spot with a great mix of nature and comfort. Clearly run with care by a thoughtful local family. Would definitely recommend for a fun and memorable getaway.

We stayed in a bunk cabin with our 9month old baby and had a great time. Mac is a wonderful host! The twin cabin is small but great if you wanna camp with some amenities i.e. ac, a mini fridge, coffee maker, and microwave. It was hot out in July, about 90 degrees during the day, but the cabin stayed cool with the ac. Rainbow pool was very close and a great way to spend the first day in. Recommend hiking up river a bit. There a lots of spots to hang out not just the big main hole with the waterfall. Yosemite is about an hour away and always so beautiful. This is a great spot for families looking for a quiet, safe spot to camp near Yosemite.

We had a wonderful camping trip here! We loved the views and all the animals! Gathering eggs, the baby animals and showering outside were highlights. Jeremy was even kind enough to jump our friend’s truck when it wouldn’t start on the way out. Thanks for all the great memories!
