This property is beautifully set with views of the mountains and forests all around (we got an amazing sunset!) and a stream / swimming hole with little beach right below. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, meeting us when we arrived to help us get situated, talking with us (also giving plenty of space and alone time, but always available and helpful if we needed anything), even offering fresh fruit and vegetables from their trees and garden. They have a friendly dog and horse which roam the property. Our stay was very enjoyable, peaceful, and relaxing.
The only possible downside is that it's somewhat challenging to get to--it's remote, and the handful of miles toward the end down a narrow, winding, at times unpaved (in one relatively short stretch, and then once on the property itself) road with occasional places to pass were a nail-biter, especially driving an RV--but the drive in and out was incredibly scenic and worth the experience in between.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Trinity Wilderness Outpost on Labor Day weekend and had a great time. The campsites were spacious and beautiful. The hosts were super helpful and friendly. It was nice having flushing toilets, a small sink area to do dishes, and potable water. We did this trip by ourselves, but would totally come back with a bigger group after seeing the size of the campsites. The drive wasn't bad at all, and totally worth it. We love the early check in and check out, which made us feel relaxed about our timing and not on a rigid schedule.

Cody & Kerry were amazing hosts. We drank fresh mountain spring water each day courtesy of the taps on the campgrounds. The creeks provided seemingly endless opportunities to explore. I'll miss falling asleep under the stars listening to the sounds of the stream next to our tent.
I'll be back!

Definitely a hidden gem! Quite a long drive on the dirt road to get to the location. Checked in at the Deerlick Springs Store and then was escorted further into the campground to reach our reserved spot. We had first pick of about 6-7 spots because we arrived before anyone else. We chose the very end spot next to the swimming hole, which our dogs loved. End of Aug, the water was low, but we still enjoyed every moment. Potable water and restrooms were very close, and the campground was very quiet despite the holiday weekend because the spots were so spread out. We want to return in June next year when the creek is higher. It was a beautiful place and the hosts were amazing!

It was an amazing experience in touch with nature mineral springs. The creek beds surrounding you are so peaceful to wake up to and the stars absolutely beautiful….
It seemed sketchy at first because it’s truly up in the forest and the drive is long but totally worth it: take note make sure you have everything you need and want there are no stores or gas stations near.
We didn’t see anything but dear….no animals at night to worry about. It’s definitely a place you want to stay a week or so at just to take it all in…..
We definitely are going back! New favorite spot thanks Carrie you are awesome!!!!!

This place was great! Wonderful hosts, strong Wi-Fi at the General store and drinkable water at the site! There’s a cool springs lots of creeks wildlife in nature super quiet and remote. I’ll definitely be back!

It’s a bit of a trek to get to, but well worth it. It’s absolutely gorgeous. A creek runs past all camp sites that I’m aware of. We took our niece and nephews camping for their first time; they had a blast. The owners are very kind and caring. They even picked up smores ingredients for us upon request during their shopping trip. Very above and beyond.
There is running water and pretty nice bathroom facilities. First time I’ve seen flushing toilets in the middle of the forest. Pretty impressive. There’s also a cool old lodge that the kids liked exploring. The small creek had a pond-like area where I could stand in the water, and a small school of fish around the size of my pinky came to investigate me. They came right up to my feet and would bump into me. There had to have been around 20 of them. Pretty neat to stand in the water and just watch them explore around you.
There is no cell phone signal for any carrier that I know of. There is WiFi, but only near the general store, which is by the campground entrance. So you have to be near the store to use it. Honestly, kind of nice to have a break from the phone.
Overall, it was a really awesome spot. The kids were asking if we could specifically come back to this campground soon. I think that’s the biggest stamp of approval I know of.

The hosts were so sweet, they offered us firewood, fresh tomatoes, and recommended amazing hiking spots around the area! The site is very open and the creek is an easy walk to get to. I enjoyed every second if my stay here and would recommend anyone to try this place out for themselves!

I am so thankful I found this place to kick off our camping week. I have camped off the beaten path before and this was the best of both worlds, privacy and amazing surroundings but also flushing toilets and ice in the store! My kids kept talking about when we come back we have to bring the dogs. Easy hiking, wonderful creek, and nice hosts!!

This place is out of this world. The people running it have created such a wonderful environment to spend time with loved ones or get that much needed break from the rat race. So peaceful. I can’t even begin to explain how much my family and I enjoyed our stay. A lot to explore and so much history. I’m in love. It’s unlike anyplace I’ve ever had the opportunity to stay at. You can hang around and chill or go off in a million different directions and explore. . . I’m blown away. Can’t wait to go back. The dogs and kids also had a blast, was sad to leave but happy to know we will for sure be coming back very soon. Solid 10 out of 10. La la la love ittttt!

My family and I took a trip to Trinity Outpost for some tent camping. We stayed in the Togerlilly campground and it did not disappoint. The grounds had plenty of shade and access to the restrooms via a small foot bridge. Most of the campsites run along the creek. We were able to go to sleep to the sounds of water flowing. It was great to disconnect, however the small shop had wifi which was important for some of my family members who had loved ones to check in with abroad. All in all this was a beautiful place. Next time we'll have to to have a longer stay here.

The camp hosts were incredibly warm, welcoming, and truly went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Their kindness touched our hearts and created an unforgettable experience. The campsite itself is utterly breathtaking, nestled in a secluded, mountainous haven that feels like a hidden paradise. The stream flowing through their property is simply awe-inspiring, its soothing sound amplifying the natural beauty surrounding us. We fell in love with their adorable family pets, Cocoa and Cowboy, who greeted us with joyful enthusiasm and genuine affection. We had so much fun and can’t wait to go back for longer! There are swimming holes and hikes and views and mineral springs- third highest concentrate in the US if I’m remembering right. It’s just phenomenal. My daughter is 2.5 and I could see us hanging out for about a week. Just bring enough food and drinks (no need to bring water - it’s plentiful and so fresh - bring extra containers to bring back if you can). You’re way out there. Out there. They have fresh eggs - which was a great fresh protein to add to a beautifully nature packed day. Also have s’mores stuff and extra jackets if you get cold. And ice. And WIFI! I’m excited also for their cabins to open. I can’t say enough about how much we liked our stay. We got turned around twice and added an hour plus to our drive. Follow the directions and reset you mileage for each direction. I turned around needlessly and should have kept going only .25 miles. So annoying. But kind of a life lesson too. Ok. Have fun!!

Love love love this hidden gem! 100% worth the trip out. I will say that we considered driving our regular day use vehicle and glad that we switched to our jeep instead. You definitely want a high clearance vehicle for this trip. The campsites are absolutely breathtaking we stayed at geh salamander right on the creek near restrooms wash stations and firewood. This is a phenomenal family spot as well as just a get away for a couple or a Lone Ranger. The stars at night are breathtaking. The restrooms are clean as can be and the privacy was absolutely wonderful. Camp host was absolutely phenomenal! We will be back several times.

This was our first time using Hipcamp and we’re so glad we chose this spot! The man who welcomed us (didn’t catch his name sorry!) was so chill and kind, even gave us some free bug spray. We especially appreciated that they allow (friendly) dogs off leash- this is the main reason we chose it vs. others in the area, not realizing just how amazing it would be! Our pup made friends with the neighboring dogs and they had so much fun running around. Also just appreciate the community vibes and their mission of restoring the place and making nature accessible. Very grateful to them for sharing with us! Like they say, it is hard to find and there is no service (though they have free wifi at the store once you make it) so make sure you read their instructions WELL, but it’s worth the challenge of getting there! We would definitely be back :)

Very peaceful and spacious. The stream is amazing and the water is so clear. Lots of wildlife to explore. The flushable toilets and dish washing station is a nice luxury to have while camping. I enjoyed my time and would return!

The sound of the creek will take away all your stress. The swimming hole is beyond epic. They went above and beyond with fresh baked cookies and veggies from their garden! He even brought us extra ice and offered all the firewood we needed. I have a big dog and they even put there dog away so mine could be free! The horse is just walking around the property and is super nice. Thanks again for an amazing stay!🇺🇸
