Weekend Trip to Zephyr Mountain Avocado Grove

My family and I went tent camping on Shane’s land and it was great. The camp sites were far apart enough that it felt secluded, which we loved especially because we didn’t have to share a portal toilet. My daughter enjoyed seeing the animals in their animal sanctuary. Would recommend for small families.

It’s a very nice spot. We loved all the old west decorative touches. We brought an RV and also rented the “Fearless Mary” airstream. Enjoyed the sunset and early morning views up there. Also dined below by the saloon under the big oak. It’s 25 minutes to the beach, 10 minutes to shops and restaurants. The hosts were great. Emphatic thumbs up

What more could you ask for? Clear instructions and communication, amazing location on top of the mountain with sweeping views of the valley below. Peaceful surroundings, private and a host that made us feel very welcomed. Shane went above and beyond to help us when we needed assistance - a kind soul indeed. If you are looking for a great camping spot this is 100% a good decision. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. 10/10. 5 stars!

Love this campsite & would recommend to friends. We had a good time fishing and swimming, Unfortunately on our recent visit the porta potty was not well maintained. The seat was broken, it ran out of water to flush had manually flush, plus it was full.. I will most likely visit again but will check with host about the porta potty maintenance before hand.

Beautiful area for tent camping! There’s a bathroom, water spigot, and tables — everything you need for a comfortable stay!! The views are gorgeous and even though the street is nearby, you forget about it quickly because of how pretty the area is.

I didn’t need to bring a canopy as there is plenty of shade or chairs which were already provided was nice. This was a nice not far from home getaway. You’re not far off the main highway but it still feels secluded. You can sleep in a tent but also jump in your car and go to a cafe, bistro, or market 5-10 minutes away if you wanted to. I think my spot at the moon lodge was the best as you’re tucked in a nice corner by the stream and the mountain. Lisa was very sweet and accommodating, we were the only ones there when we went to it was nice to have the place to ourselves. She has dogs but they were so well trained they didn’t make a peep the whole time we were there. She even has a rooster that Lisa let us feed which i loved ! Bathrooms were clean but you have to walk outside of the property to get there. The equalivent of maybe 1 street block give or take depending on where you are. Which is not uncommon for camping. I 100% recommend this spot of your looking for something local. :)

We loved this spot a lot, great for short stays or fishing trips, I wouldn't recommend for long stays with little ones, it could get really loud because the street next to it plus neighbors across front have noisy dogs, also the porta potty waste really dirty and some visible trash around the property during our stay probably from long weekend previously guests, anyway it was a good trip.

Shane and Nicole’s property is sooo beautiful! We camped at the Glamp in the Grove site and it was perfect. There was a structure that was great for putting our tent in, an outhouse + handwashing station, two tables, two chairs, and a fire pit (that we paid extra for). Shane was also super helpful and responded quickly which was appreciated. Thank you for an awesome stay Shane and Nicole :)

Had a nice long weekend tent camping. Location has 2 elevations were you could set up camp. Upper area has some nice trees that provide good sheade. Overall pretty even and flat surface for the tents. It's a little windy in the mornings, so you need to make sure to stake down the tents. Soil is hard, glad we always pack a hammer and HD stakes, otherwise it would have been impossible to stake them down2. Location has a docking area for boats and is close to gas stations, restaurants and supermarkets. It's close to the road so you will have some noise from the cars driving by but it did not bother us much. There is a port-a-poti but no shower and 2 picnic tables with bench seating. Enjoyed using the fire pit. Would definitely book again.

Rock and Tree grounds were a magical and perfect spot for us to camp for the night in our Subaru with a Roof Top Tent. Tons of flat open space with trees to stay near. Easy and quick to get to off the freeway. So many comfortable spots to enjoy on the property: creative covered seating areas, cool gazebo lounges, hammocks, perfect artistic solar lit spaces abound. Taryn and Taylor were so upbeat and easy to work with and get us set up. Running cold water, primative toilets, perfect for what we needed to stay the night. Thank you!!!

Anson is a folk and blues musician and has traveled all around the U.S. playing his music and I work for a children's book company. As the idea grew, we wanted to create an Open Canvas so that the guest could dream up what they wanted on our stage. We moved to the Inland Empire from Santa Monica, in 2017 with the dream of building an open canvas event space out of sustainable, re purposed and natural materials. Our mission is help enrich the culture of Perris, CA by providing a unique venue that takes you away from the hustle and bustle and takes you to a wonderland of nature surrounded by rocks and eucalyptus trees. Anson and I continue to build everything ourselves with the help of our friends and family every now and again. Our process is that we source as much lumber using the dead Eucalyptus trees we have here on the 36 acre property and we are constantly trying to come up with innovative ways to use recycled and donated materials in the venue. During the pandemic, we turned our venue into a campground so we could open up the venue to people who needed to get out into nature. We are now open for daily camping and private events. This land is perfect for camping tents, Glamping tents, 4x4 Car Campers, and even small RVs(There is a small slope to get up into the property so make sure your RV is capable). The Property is just 3 minutes away from Lake Elsinore, here you can fish, swim, BBq, and many more activity that the lake offers. Being so close to it makes you want to be out there all day and come back at night to enjoy your night shows on the property with the stars. The property seize is 0.11 acres which is 4,791sq Feet. Only about 800sq Feet has a slope the rest is just flat land ontop. That gives you 3,800+ sq feet of land to just enjoy and have fun on!
