I loved glamping at Inn Town in Nevada City. Dan and his crew were so responsive and helpful. It’s such an impressive, clean and well kept facility - bathrooms, showers, a kitchen and so many extras. The mattress heaters were a cozy touch - 10/10

We were backed right to the slough with our own boat dock if needed. Water front within 25'. Definitely a cool getaway, within 60 miles of Sacramento. This place is totally pet friendly with numerous poop stations and a fenced in dog park. During our stay, they had done tacos, breakfast burritos, and a movie night. During the day on Saturday they had a jet ski show as well!
Campsite are side by side with full amenities water, sewer, and electric. Some spots have better shade, however we will know what we're looking for at the next opportunity to come out!

This is a great place to stay! Extremely clean bathrooms and showers. Grounds are well kept. Perfect swimming pool to cool off and lots of extras for kids to do. Great common kitchen / dining area and rec room. Cute store with anything you forgot. We came in our Minnie Winnie and stayed in RV 5. Small spot but everything we needed and close to facilities. They have really cool glamping tents and lots of tent spots too. Looking forward to coming back with our family.

Mary from Personal Creekside Camping was a gracious, kind, and informative host at our recent Hip Camp stay. Ideally located next to a relaxing creek loaded with blackberries, it was spacious and shaded. Her camp is ideally situated near Penn Valley and about 20 minutes from Grass Valley. The sky is dazzling with stars! Mary shared her experiences and recommended local spots to check out. Mountain Ranch Winery is a mere ten minute drive and if you don’t stop by to taste and engage with Bob, well you’ll miss out on a local gem and enlightened conversation. Be sure to check them out. The valley and surrounding area is full of friendly people, nature, culture, and great food. You won’t be disappointed with Mary and her property.

Great location with a variety of activities nearby.
Because we also stayed at the lodge we didn’t use the kitchen at the campground, but it was well-stocked. Bathrooms were a nice bonus. Wood chip base made for flat tent setup. Excellent hosts! Attending promptly to our family.

Great place! Mary was very kind, and it was an awesome camping experience with our toddler. I bit hot in the middle of the day (mid June, to be expected) so bring ice and a pop up tent for extra shade if you can. Great experience - would recommend!

Awesome site. Great campground, perfectly located for day trips to various waterholes and the Yuba River. Close to both Nevada City and Grass Valley. Bathrooms were super nice and very clean as well. Friendly staff as an added bonus!

This was a well kept clean campground, it had a nice pathway through the narrow gauge train museum so you could walk into town! The lady we checked in with was super nice and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

Really great campground with plenty of space to spread out. The whole area is fenced in, so our dog could roam freely without a leash. Beautiful surroundings. Well-stocked kitchen, clean bathrooms, everything you need to feel comfortable. The hosts were super helpful and attentive. We’ll definitely be back!

Our family loved camping at Mary's property, indeed my son said this was the best camping ever. Mary and her son are the best and also the nicest!
The spot is private, located in a lovely neighborhood kids can bike around safely, it has a beautiful view and the relaxing sound of the water running it's course on the creek.
We were able to connect travel trailer to water hose and electricity, under the shade of tall trees. There was a portable potty, trampoline, firepit, volleyball court, playground, picnic tables, and chairs, all for our use! Farm fresh eggs and bundles of wood were just a great addition!
Downtown Grass Valley is close by (driving distance), Yuba river too, and pump track park only five minutes away. I would highly recommend Mary's Land!

We had a wonderful stay at Mark and Patricia’s place! The site was peaceful and well-kept, with all the amenities we needed. Mark was incredibly nice and thoughtful—his instructions were clear and made everything easy. Oregon Creek is just a drive away and was perfect for cooling off and relaxing. We had so much fun exploring the area, and the kids especially loved picking berries from the garden—that was definitely a highlight!
