This is a essentially a private campsite with a million dollar view during the day, and wonderful stargazing at night! We welcome dogs and don't charge additional fees for you to bring your dog(s) to camp. The park allows dogs into the park BUT NOT ON ANY TRAILS! (Only the national “forests” allow dogs on trails, not national parks.) PLEASE, let us know you are bringing dog(s), when you request to book. We currently have 2 dogs - our boy Chance is a 6yo Husky Doberman mix; and we rescued and are fostering a (approx 3yo) Great Dane, Winston! Unfortunately, we can NOT dog sit your dog(s) while you are in the park having 2 large male dogs in our house. Also you can not leave the dog alone in the campsite. We are in Three Rivers - the southern Ash Mountain gateway to the Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. Our town has some wonderfully unique restaurants, creative shops and even a delicious brewery with seating next to the River! Our hillside property has great Mountain View’s and the driveway turns directly off of Sierra drive, four miles past the town center (3R post office) and just 2 miles from the Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks entrance. There’s even a convenience store a quarter mile away! It's conveniently located and easy to find! You can (seasonally) hear the tranqual sounds, or all out roar of the flowing Kaweah river from across the street. Sorry, there is NO river access from this campsite. You can go to Slick Rock Recreation area, Lake Kaweah or into the parks to swim, boat, fish and more. Lake Kaweah is about 8 miles away. You drive around it after you top the hill entering Three Rivers. My wife Elizabeth and I bought our log home in 2015 and we have been dreaming and adding here ever since! Our dog Chance chases all the fun wildlife off of our property. In addition to deer, we have seen fox, bob cats, an Ocelot, too many coyotes, wild turkeys and bear crossing an animal highway along our upper hillside property line. Hawks, hummingbirds, quail, blue birds, woodpeckers and yellow bellied finches are regularly seen here as well. We have had turkey families coming through frequently recently! Owls have been heard; but not seen. We love our country home and mountain views, and look forward to sharing them with you!

Please note: you are expected to leave the ranch and kitchen area as you found it, i.e., dishes washed thoroughly and dried and put away, recycling separated from trash, food scraps in compost buckets, sticky marshmallow removed from forks and surfaces (ick!). My property sits on an area that was once an Indian village, and then the school house for the children of the pioneers. There was a huge Hare Krishna Colony up here in the 60-70's. As a photographer and filmmaker, the lighting up here is amazing! The night skies literally pulsate with their celestial canopy. A great spot to sky watch as well! The property is not kid-friendly, and is not really here for children as much as it is offered for the inner child in adults. WE ARE 420 friendly which is in opposition to most "family" landscapes....so please note this is not personal but I prefer no children xo Also, I prefer no pets, as it disrupts the balance here with the animal residents :) I share fresh eggs when available :) (The shower is not available to guest :)

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed staying at the Cottonwood cabin! It was a nice cozy space and the scenery was sooo beautiful! I got to enjoy my breakfast on a big rock by the river and it was the perfect way to start my day. The restrooms were really nice and well kept! Overall it was a super comfortable lodging experience.

A perfect five-star stay! The combination of the incredibly gracious hosts, Joe and Kim, and the unbeatable proximity to Sequoia National Park makes this lodging a must-book. It was the perfect basecamp for exploring the park's famous trails and towering, ancient trees. We especially appreciated the easy access to nearby dining establishments and the fun, nostalgic candy shop—it added a unique and sweet touch to our entire trip!

The trailer is nestled between an abundance of greenery and the A-Frame cabin.

Great getaway place, everything was perfect. Wendy definitely makes this a special place. Pictures of what the place is are on point, ypu have everything you could thing off, loved the eggs, you have acess to the river super close to Sequoia if that is something you want to do. Def a place to be free and enjoy nature, would def love to come back! Wendy is such a great host.

Brewster was an amazing host! It was our first time using Hipcamp and we will definitely be using it again. The instructions to get to the location were very clear. It is extremely close to the entrance of Sequoia National Park, about 5 miles. The campsite was clean and exactly as advertised (yay for a flushing toilet!). If you are single and traveling, or just looking for a close spot to the park, this is the spot for you! Thanks Brewster!

We enjoyed the quiet camp ground as we were the only campers there. Nice to have water and sewer hook ups and flush toilets. Could use a little maintenance and cleaning. The location is good for the parks. Our 27 ft trailer worked ok in the space. It’s a camp ground no lodge.

Absolutely awesome and unique place to stay. Wendi is genuinely such a wonderful host. Her animals are all absolutely lovely to have around. Loved staying in the little vintage trailer and really enjoyed getting to sit under the stars next to a little fire every night. Her spot is right on the river and I def recommend taking a dip and laying in the hammock as the sun rises. Location is great if you are planning on going into Sequoia National Park for some adventures too!

This campground is in an amazing spot on your way down into Kings Canyon. It’s right off of the road near a “caution ice cream ahead” sign. We stayed in our RV and didn’t use any bathrooms, sinks or anything like that so I can’t speak to those, but it did the job, which was provided us somewhat close campsite to the Roads End lot & hiking area; I highly recommend the Mist Trail btw. Also, I would recommend the campsites that are across the street (same campground), I think it was sites 6-9. We walked over to check out the river, but didn’t want to get into anyone else’s campsite. Site 5 isn’t my favorite as it is right next to the road & I woke up to cars driving by. Only drawback were the trash cans. They weren’t animal/bear safe, and there was trash on the ground surrounding the trash cans, which we chalked up to animals in the area. I would recommend & stay again. Also, I appreciated the Wi-Fi in an area that has no cell signal.

Weekend Trip to Five Fours Camp in Three Rivers

I love the location to Sequoia NP, and the site itself was perfect. The site fit a Sprinter 170 and still had room for a ground tent. The bathrooms and shower came in clutch. Plus the picnic table was covered and BBQ grill was a great option. We would definitely come back and stay here.

Weekend Trip to Kings Canyon Campground

We had such a wonderful stay! This camping spot is perfect for couples — peaceful, private, and surrounded by water hook-up from all around the site. We loved being able to relax in our tent, enjoying the scenery. Toilets are nearby and made the stay even more comfortable. It would’ve been nice if there's shower rooms, but honestly, we’re not complaining — everything else was fantastic. We’ll definitely be back!

Weekend Trip to Isky Ranch

Loved Allison's campsite - it was private, shaded by Sycamores and lined with Datura. Best of all it was just a short walk to the river. My favorite part was the huge rocky bottom that comes up to shape the river's edge, right near where Allison had chairs set up, and you're essentially able to sit in the river while it flows around you. It is exceptionally beautiful in the morning, especially while watching the Turkey Vultures roosting and sunning their wings, and the Acorn Woodpeckers flitting about. A couple reviews mentioned having loud neighbors, which I was worried about since I had forgotten earplugs -- but happy to report that it was a perfectly quiet, beautiful night. We were only able to camp 1 out of the 2 nights we reserved due to unfortunate rental car troubles, but Allison was responsive through text and has helped me out with a partial refund request, which I very much appreciate. Allison provided clear directions to the campsite, communicated expectations clearly, and was an overall gracious host. Would love to stay here again!

Beautiful place in a valley, sinks for washing dishes etc. Nice flat tent camping, clean bathrooms with sinks and mirrors. Tent camping across the street, big open space with right amount of trees. Great ride from the park entrance all the way in.

Brewster was extremely kind, attentive, and welcoming. The spot was literally 3 minutes away from the Sequoia National Park, which gives you quick in and out access. The campsite was extremely pleasant and it’s very clear they have put a lot of work and love into the space! Would recommend!!

We had a great experience at Kings Canyon RV Resort! The instructions were clear, and the area was absolutely beautiful. The location was perfect, and we loved seeing the wildlife that came right up to our camper—it made the trip even more special. If we’re ever in the area again, we’ll definitely be back!
