We had a great time at Wendy & Hudson’s cabin. The view of the waterfall from the deck was one of our favorite parts. In close second were the sunset views over the boulder.
I had been looking for something that was secluded and private, and we got just that!! Parking down the driveway can be a bit tricky and getting down to the shower/bathroom is a bit aways, but all in all it was absolutely worth it! We came near the new moon and got to enjoy the stars each night, which was quite a treat.
It’s about 1.5 hour drive from the center of Yosemite, but there are also lots of nature spots to checkout nearby too. I’d definitely recommend Wild Fig in Coarsegold for brunch or lunch and Clouds Rest Coffee in Oakhurst. A special shoutout to Wendy who was an incredible host and just an all around lovely person. We’d definitely come back here and I’d love to camp at the second site on their property!

Cozy cabin with very comfy bed. Great spot with view of waterfall and its own fire pit. Excellent location near Yosemite South Gate, Bass Lake, and tons of National Forest land hikes. Cabin has fridge and microwave, BYO water. Thank you to the hosts for a perfect stay and for being dog friendly!

Weekend Trip to Hidden Falls Yosemite Camp
Loved the small cabin. Very quiet, its got a call breeze coming in all directions, and a loud sound of the small creek waterfall. The bed is so comfortable, and relaxing. Small porta is good, and the shared bathroom at the main house is clean with hot water, its a win-win with a good price.

Weekend Trip to Hidden Falls Yosemite Camp
This was the perfect tiny cabin for access to Bass lake and parts of Yosemite. Literally minutes from Bass like and surrounding hikes. Highly recommend Angel Falls, especially during the summer heat.
Cabin will be very comfy year round with the excellent little heater/AC unit, but when possible, I highly recommend falling asleep to the waterfall ambiance with the windows open.
The little deck table is perfectly positioned for privacy and a view of the waterfall, well thought out design.
Parking in front of the cabin is down a pretty steep decline, so having AWD or 4WD is helpful, otherwise you should back-in and use a bit of momentum to get up the slope. There is also room to park on the side of the road and just walk down to the cabin if needed.
Would like to use the campfire ring behind the cabin next time outside of fire season.

Wonderful weekend "glamping" spot near lots of hiking & food! Perfect for two. Cozy cabin! The sound & view of the hidden falls was so peaceful. Bed was on the firmer side and bathroom situation was a bit odd but we worked through it. Would have loved to have a fire but CA is dry in June, so thinking another trip in fall/winter may be in order!

Very cute, comfortable, and quiet. The falls, which there are two of, overshadow any road noise from the canyon. Driveway is a bit bonkers but I’ve seen worse. We didn’t find where to put trash or anything but didn’t drive around much to look. The road below ended where it looks like a crazy weirdo lives so I’m glad we saw the “ammunition expensive so we shoot to kill” sign on the way out. Would suck to have some children rolling around exploring and happen upon that crazy dudes property by accident. Also my son struggled to find a spot for his small tent outside and had to do it on the small wood porch, so we cut our stay short by a day.

The place was perfect. Perfect location set in a little town with some really good restaurants and 15 minutes from the south entrance to Yosemite. Cottage was perfect, host was super accommodating. One word, perfect.

Stayed at Cabin 167. Place was incredible and had everything you need. A peaceful RV park, in a peaceful town right off the lake. 25 minutes away from the entrance to Yosemite. Would definitely recommend.

What a gem this is! We loved our stay in this cozy little cabin. We enjoyed having our coffee & breakfast out on the deck each morning while listening to the birds. Simply magical. Bath house is definitely a little drive down the road. It’s really too long & steep to walk it. Just a heads up. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & highly recommend!

Weekend Trip to Outdoorsy Yosemite Campground
Very awesome cabin! It was a lot spacier than in the photos and there were many more amenities than I was expecting (oven, pots, cooking utensils, etc.). Locking and unlocking the sliding door was the bane of my existence but that’s a personal problem I guess. There was a bunk bed set-up (though I don’t know how anyone could get the top bunk) that would be great if a family wanted to stay here.

This was so incredible! I definitely plan on going again in the future. The host was super sweet and the lil cabin was so cozy. I was worried about being cold but it was not a problem at all in fact I got a little warm in there!! The view of the waterfall from the cabin is also Stellar. Just so awesome!
